Perez Hilton, the self-proclaimed “Queen of All Media” and the man behind PerezHilton.com, partied on stage with good friend John Stamos as he jammed with the Beach Boys at a concert last night.
Perez, currently filming a reality show, was surprised when Stamos (playing guitar) pulled him up on stage to sing a song with the band. Only one problem: he didn’t quite know the words to “Fun Fun Fun.”

“I was kinda nervous because I didn’t know any lyrics, except the chorus,” he said. “But I just sang my little heart out and had fun.”

Dallas Cowboy Keith Davis feels blessed he can joke about shooting

IRVING â?? As Dallas Cowboys safety Keith Davis gingerly leaned forward Sunday evening to touch the bullet still lodged in his right thigh, he revealed a blood-splattered pillow.

“My head has been leaking, but that’s OK,” he said. “I’ve got a big head, and my braids still look good,” he said with a chuckle. “As soon as I realized I got hit, I started applying pressure to the spot. I was a kinesiology major in college. I guess I learned something from all of those courses.”

Mr. Davis, 27, said it was a blessing to be able to joke about having a bullet graze the back of his head and another lodge in his thigh. He was shot while driving along Interstate 635 early Sunday morning.

The incident, which remains under investigation, marks the second time in three years that Mr. Davis has been shot. The last time, the Cowboys released him the day before the start of training camp in 2003.

“I was just minding my own business driving home, and I didn’t quite make it,” he said. “I’m a victim.”

Police said Mr. Davis was driving west on the highway near the Dallas North Tollway about 5 a.m. Sunday. A dark-colored vehicle with tinted windows pulled alongside his candy-apple red Chevrolet Impala with 22-inch rims, and someone inside shot at him and his passenger several times, leaving five bullet holes in the rear passenger door, blowing off the inside door panel and shredding the back seats.

“I was driving down 635 talking with a friend, and I had just passed a truck when I heard a pop and the back window shattered,” Mr. Davis said. “I just put my head down and mashed the gas, and told my friend to get down.

“Then I heard boom! boom! boom! boom! boom! It was so loud. I got on the tollway and drove about halfway to the hospital before I pulled over and let my friend drive.”

His passenger, whose name was not released Sunday, drove Mr. Davis to RHD Memorial Medical Center in Farmers Branch.

Later Sunday, he was transferred to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. He expects to be released today. Mr. Davis said a brain scan revealed only a bruise.

Referring to the bullet in his thigh, Mr. Davis said, “They’re going to wait just a little bit before they take it out because they don’t want to take a chance that infection or anything else will set in. The leg is really nothing. They want to be careful with the head to make sure there’s no internal bleeding or anything like that.”

Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple said Sunday that the team would have no comment about the shooting.

“He’s expected to fully recover, and no one has stated anything about being unable to play football,” said Curtis Stephens, Mr. Davis’ agent. “We’re expecting him to make tackles on the field and special teams when the season starts.”

Lt. Rick Watson said that although police were still working on determining a motive and finding suspects, they believed the incident might have been an attempted carjacking because Mr. Davis’ car was in excellent condition and had been modified.

“Through the investigation, the victim has not indicated he has any enemies or has been in any altercations at this time,” Lt. Watson said.

Mr. Davis said authorities told him that shots to the rear passenger door were an indication that the gunmen weren’t trying to kill him and his passenger.

At the time of the shooting, Mr. Davis said, he was returning home from Shreveport, La., where he had spent the weekend with friends and family.

“I wasn’t going to go home, but I had missed church the previous Sunday,” said Mr. Davis, “and we’ve got training camp coming up, and I didn’t want to miss another Sunday. We were going to get home in time to change clothes and head to church.”

Mr. Davis spent much of the day in the intensive care unit chatting with a steady stream of visitors, from his pastor, Rickie G. Rush of the Inspiring Body of Christ Church, to former Sam Houston teammate Joey Mitchell, one of his best friends.

There were also phone calls from teammates Roy Williams, Terence Newman, Jason Ferguson and Anthony Henry and trainer Jim Maurer before Mr. Davis said the nursing staff confiscated his phone so he would rest.

From the time he was shot until he was transferred to Baylor, Mr. Davis made several phone calls to friends and family when he wasn’t being treated or speaking with detectives.

“At first, I told him to quit playing with me,” said Cody Davis, a cousin. “He said, ‘Kinfolk, I been hit.’ It was unbelievable because he said he had been shot in the head, but he was still talking to me.

“He kept repeating it, so I figured he wasn’t joking. And it was so early Sunday morning that I thought something might be going on.”

He phoned Mr. Rush at 5:30 a.m.

“I couldn’t talk. There was just silence on the phone,” Mr. Davis said. “I finally told him I had been shot. I explained the situation to him, and we started praying. I told him I didn’t do anything. I was just coming home.”

In 2003, Mr. Davis was shot in the elbow and right hip outside a Dallas strip club. He said he was there to pick up a friend about 2:15 a.m. June 29 and was nearly run over by a car as an argument began. Soon thereafter, shots were fired. He later said that his girlfriend became involved in a dispute and he had tried to protect her.

The 2003 shooting came not long after a stern warning from then-new coach Bill Parcells to the team about avoiding off-field troubles.

Mr. Davis re-signed with the Cowboys in January 2004 and played well in NFL Europe. He was an excellent special teams player for the Cowboys in 2004 and started 15 games at free safety in 2005.

During the 2004 Cowboys training camp, Mr. Parcells called Mr. Davis to the front of the team meeting room and had him show his teammates his scars as a warning not to get into trouble on their first night off of training camp.

Mr. Davis, who was raised in Italy, Texas, finished fourth on the team last season with 66 tackles and led the team with 16 special-teams tackles.

“I’m truly blessed and thankful. It’s by the grace of God that I didn’t have a serious injury,” he said. “I was leaning quite a bit. If I had been sitting straight up, I might not be here.”

This is a follow up to my earlier X17 photos of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey running into each other at Hyde in LA the other night.  Just wanted to show you the pic of Jessica leaving Hyde on Friday night at the same time Nick and Vanessa were there. She doesn’t look too happy ….

Nick and Vanessa on the other hand didn’t look so gloom.

Ouch!  Poor Jess

X-17 caught a glimpse of Katie out for a walk near Tom’s home in Telluride. She appeared solumn but content.

You can just barely see the baby carriage here on the back porch — Suri exists! Okay, you’ve gotta squint to see it, but I promise, it’s there.
