Jennifer Tilly says her persona as an ultracool indie actress was destroyed by “Bride of Chucky,” in which she plays the sexy lover of a repulsive, homicidal doll. “When I go to Popeye’s Fried Chicken in L.A., they give me free biscuits because they love [it],” she tells the debut issue of Dune magazine. “When I had to go to the courthouse and was going through the X-ray machine, the guys are like ‘Bride of Chucky, Bride of Chucky!’ . . . Before that my fans were more intellectual.”
