Amanda Peet, 37 — a star of “The Whole Nine Yards,” “Something’s Gotta Give” and “Syriana” — has a 26-year-old assistant, Michelle Werner, who arrived at Peet’s loft on Duane Street Wednesday at 11 a.m. to find a strange man holding a jewelry box. “What’s up, bitch? I live here,” the man said.

The burglar, who’d broken in through a skylight, fled down the stairs with the box valued at $900, The Post’s Jamie Schram reports. Werner was shaken but unharmed.
