WHAT: New Yorkers and late-night talk show host Carson Daly will be rallying in New York City in support of Proposition 3-17, a national movement petitioning Congress to make St. Patrick’s Day an official holiday in the U.S.
In response to overwhelming public sentiment, Guinness is supporting Proposition 3-17. The world’s most famous Irish stout aims to collect at least one million petitioned signatures by midnight on March 16; if successful, the Guinness Brewmaster will visit DC (from Dublin) on St. Patrick’s Day and demand that Congress acknowledge the will of The People.
