Amy Winehouse was drastically dressed down last weekend while enjoying a U.K. holiday with friends – and the pics caused a minor stir with the British papers.

The singer was caught enjoying the long holiday weekend –and the first signs of summer sunshine – with pals, wine and a touch of hair bleach. (Cue the Back to Black jokes!)

Dressed only in a black bra and tiny denim shorts, Winehouse – sans her signature beehive – also revealed a bald patch and her efforts with an at-home hair dye kit on her bangs.

“It’s Amy enjoying the sun at the weekend,” her London rep tells PEOPLE of the photos. She also smoked, drank and chatted with friends during her time in Oxfordshire, west of London.

A friend of Winehouse’s agrees, saying Winehouse was just taking advantage of the good weather in her own style.

“The sun makes people do crazy things,” a Winehouse pal tells PEOPLE. “Walking around in your bra in your own garden when it’s hot out isn’t all that crazy. She doesn’t care about having her picture taken like that. She wouldn’t even think about that. It’s Amy being Amy – she doesn’t care what people think.”

At first glance it may seem she had forgotten to get dressed.

But bra, shorts and ballet slippers almost count as overdressed for Amy Winehouse these days.

However, the singer had definitely left something behind when she walked out of the front door that morning.

About 12 inches of beehive to be exact.

Without her usual black hairpiece, Miss Winehouse, 24, looked a little softer and of course, quite a bit shorter.

As she relaxed with friends in Henley, Oxfordshire, it seemed she couldn’t resist a little hairdressing of her own.

While chatting on her phone, drinking wine and smoking, she used a home hair dye kit to bleach part of her fringe.

She has been working with her producer Mark Ronson on the theme tune for the new James Bond film, Quantum Of Solace, which is out in November.

The movie, the second to feature Daniel Craig as 007, is said to focus on Bond’s vengeance for the death of his lover Vesper Lynd in the last film Casino Royale.

Onlookers expressed fears for Miss Winehouse’s health because of her alarmingly thin figure.

“She looked really emaciated,” one said. “It looked like they had all been drinking but there was no sign of any food at the table.”

Meanwhile husband Blake Fielder-Civil is reported to be planning to run away with a secret mistress and will claim a chunk of the singer’s £10million fortune.

Jailed husband Blake, 25, is said to be reeling from the news that his wife has been cheating on him with manager’s assistant Alex Haines.

And according to The Sun, he has vowed that if Amy has “cheated on me, don’t worry – we’ll be millionaires.”

The mystery woman is described as blonde, and is also said to be a friend of Amy’s.

However, the new reports cast doubt on Amy’s assertion that her marriage is fine, and that she and Blake are still happily in love.

Amy Winehouse has abandoned recording the theme to the latest James Bond film because the singer is not ready to work, her producer said Friday.

Mark Ronson, who produced much of Winehouse’s Grammy-winning “Back to Black,” said the soul diva is “not ready to record any music.”

Ronson said the two started work on the track for the upcoming Bond movie “Quantum of Solace” but it would take “some miracle of science” to finish it, he said in an interview with Sky News.

Winehouse’s troubles with drugs, law enforcement and her rocky romance with her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil have kept the singer in the spotlight.

Police gave her a formal warning last week after she scuffled with two men during a raucous night out.

Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson are developing a theme song for Quantum of Solace, the next Bond film, he has confirmed.

But as the song has not been officially signed up as the theme for the 22nd Bond movie, there are no guarantees the 60s-inspired sounds of Winehouse and Ronson will soundtrack the upcoming exploits of England’s most lethal weapon.

“Hopefully it will get used. We’re working on it and we’ll see happens,” Ronson told BBC 6 Music.

“They asked Amy, and I think Amy said that if she did it, she’d want to do it with me. So hopefully something will come of it,” he told the station’s Music Week’s show.

“The demo sounds like a James Bond theme, hopefully. But I don’t know if it’ll get used.”

Though rumours have long been persisted that Winehouse is to join the likes of Sheena Easton, Wings, Carly Simon, Tina Turner, Dame Shirley Bassey and Madonna in singing a Bond theme, Ronson stressed that no decisions have been made and that competition is likely to be fierce.

He added: “I’m sure there are loads more really famous people that probably we’re competing with and we don’t know about. I’m not sure.

“But hopefully I’ll still be alive for at least 12 more Bond themes. If we don’t get this one maybe we’ll get another one.”

Quantum of Solace is released on October 31st.

British singer Amy Winehouse was released from a London police station Saturday after spending a night in custody following her arrest for an assault.

The “Rehab” singer, 24, voluntarily met with police Friday for questioning after tabloid reports that she allegedly head-butted a man who tried to hail her a cab outside a bar in London on Wednesday.

Winehouse was cautioned by police about the incident, which will remain on her record and could be held against her if she gets in more legal trouble down the road, according to the Associated Press.

The Grammy Award winner, who went to rehab in January, “looked a mess” on her way to the station Friday, an eyewitness told Usmagazine.com.

Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has been in jail since November on charges of assault and witness-tampering.

A judge ruled on Friday he will remain in jail until at least June 9.

Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE has reportedly been ordered by her record label to kick her drug habit – or they won’t release any more of her music.

The Back To Black hitmaker checked into a London rehab clinic earlier this year at the request of Universal Music boss Lucian Grange after a British newspaper published footage of her allegedly taking hard drugs – but the star left after just two weeks.

However, despite Winehouse claiming she is finally overcoming her problems, her recent erratic behaviour has led to rumours she has failed to kick her addictions.

And British newspaper The Sun is now reporting that the 24-year-old has been issued an ultimatum by her record label after she allegedly cancelled a recording session in the Bahamas – with label chiefs urging her to stay out of trouble or plans to release her highly anticipated third album will be shelved indefinitely.

A source tells the publication, “Amy has been reminded of her responsibilities. Unless she is clean she will not be allowed to release another album.

“They would never release her from her deal, they would just not put an album out. She has been warned about her behaviour and needs to keep the standards up.”

She’s never been seen as much of a role model so it was perhaps a bit of a surprise to see Amy Winehouse put in temporary charge of a young child.

But it came as no shock that the singer didn’t let the situation inconvenience her – she was still able to knock back shots and smoke a few cigarettes.

The 24-year-old was looking healthier than usual but still raised eyebrows as she cuddled a friend’s baby during a break in recording the James Bond theme tune.

The Back To Black star has been holed up with producer pal Mark Ronson at his studio in his Henley, Oxfordshire retreat over the past week recording the main track for the upcoming 007 movie Quantum Of Solace.

After hours in the studio, Amy couldn’t wait for a break in the fresh air and joined a group of friends for a midday drinking session in a country pub.

When one of Amy’s friends brought along their young son to the afternoon festivities, the singer reached out for a cuddle – despite the fact she was smoking.

After pulling faces and playing with the baby, Amy happily accepted a shot of melon-flavoured Midori from a male friend – even though she was still clutching the child.

Despite her skinny frame, Amy’s tiny vest failed to hide an unusual bulge in her stomach.

Meanwhile, Amy has reportedly delayed her eagerly anticipated third album until next year.

The Sun reported Amy recently cancelled plans to fly to the Bahamas to record the follow-up to her Grammy-winning Back To Black album with producer Saleem Remi.

AMY WINEHOUSE proved she is generous with her cash – after treating photographers to a round of hot drinks.

The Rehab hitmaker gave the group of snappers $40 to buy themselves a cup of coffee after waiting for the star in London’s cold temperatures.

One of the photographers told British newspaper The Daily Star that Winehouse handed the group the money before ordering them to buy themselves “something nice”.
