On Friday’s Tyra Banks Show, Andy Dick — who currently stars on VH1’s Sober House with Dr. Drew — opens up about his battle with alcoholism and his bisexuality.

The 43-year old Dick — who has been charged a number of times with DUI and drug possession (in 2008, he was busted for marijuana possession) — said living under Dr. Drew’s roof (his 10th rehab program) is challenging due to the “no sex” rule.

“He’s got the animal caged,” Dick says of Dr. Drew. “I’m under his care officially, and he’s like, ‘Look, folks … he ain’t gonna attack.’”

He says his substance abuse problems are over.

“I know that I’m ready to turn a corner with my alcoholism because I’m willing to talk about it,” says Dick, who has to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet for a year. “Believe it or not, my last bout with alcohol was beer.”

Dick also revealed that he is “tri-sexual.”

“I’ll try anything,” he told Banks. “I really have tried everything, except nothing with animals. There’s only room for one animal – that would be me.”

Dick — who said he is equally attracted to both men and women — said he is “not accepted” as bisexual in either the gay or straight community.

“I say, ‘I’m bi, my love knows no gender,’ and the straight community says, ‘Oh right, that’s just a cover-up – you’re gay!’” Dick said.

“And the gay community says, ‘Yeah right, that’s just a cover-up – you’re gay,’” he went on. “They both want to push me gay.”

Dick said he has “been monogamous” with mostly women his whole life.

“I’ve never been monogamous with a man,” he said. “When I’m with men, usually I’m out of my mind drinking. Dr. Drew says ‘using,’ but then it sounds like I’m a heroin addict.”

An “extremely intoxicated” Andy Dick was arrested early today outside a Murrieta chicken restaurant after he allegedly urinated in the parking lot and exposed a 17-year-old girl’s breasts, a news release from the Murrieta Police Department said.

Police also found marijuana and the prescription drug Xanax in the 42-year-old comedian’s pants when he was searched during his arrest, the news release said.

Dick was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of sexual battery, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and public intoxication.

Police were called to Buffalo Wild Wings on Murrieta Hot Springs Road at 1:13 a.m. in response to a report of a drunken man causing a disturbance outside the restaurant, the release said.

Witnesses told officers that as a man left the restaurant, he walked up to two females, grabbed the tank top and bra of the 17-year-old girl and pulled them down, exposing her, the news release said.

The suspect was then escorted to a truck by several of his friends, witnesses told officers. Officers stopped the truck as it was leaving the location and found Dick in the front passenger seat of the truck, the news release said.

Dick was identified by the 17-year-old girl and a witness in a curbside line-up, the news release said.

Bail was been set at $5,000. Authorities say he is no longer in custody.

Dick has been in the mainstream since he was part of the quartet of actors, along with Ben Stiller, Bob Odenkirk and Janeane Garofalo, that anchored Fox’s “The Ben Stiller Show” in 1992.

After its cancellation in 1993, Dick appeared in Stiller movies such as “Reality Bites,” “The Cable Guy” and “Permanent Midnight.” In 1995, he landed a role on “NewsRadio,” the ensemble comedy that co-starred Phil Hartman, Dave Foley and Maura Tierney. The show was cancelled in 1999. In 2002, he co-starred in the sitcom “Less Than Perfect.”

His distinctive voice has led to work in animated movies such as “Happily N’Ever After,” “Hoodwinked” and “The Lion King II” and adult fare such as “Clone High,” “Stripperella” and the video game “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.”

In May 2004, Dick was cited for misdemeanor pot possession at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio. The charge was dismissed in December of that year, according to court records.

On Aug. 7, 2007, Dick was cited for urinating on a sidewalk in Columbus, Ohio, according to Matt Pendy of the Frankllin County Municpal Court. He paid the fine.

It was fight night at an L.A. comedy club last week when Jon Lovitz roughed up Andy Dick over the murder of their “Saturday Night Live” colleague, Phil Hartman.

Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada, who witnessed the assault, said, “Jon picked Andy up by the head and smashed him into the bar four or five times, and blood started pouring out of his nose.” Lovitz told Page Six, “All the comedians are glad I did it because this guy is a [bleep]hole.”

Lovitz and Dick have been at loggerheads since a 1997 Christmas party at Hartman’s house, five months before his troubled wife Brynn flipped out, fatally shooting Hartman, then killing herself. “Andy was doing cocaine, and he gave Brynn some after she had been sober for 10 years. Phil was furious about it – and then five months later he’s dead,” said Lovitz, adding that when he filled in on Hartman’s “Newsradio” sitcom, “I told Andy, ‘I wouldn’t be here now if you hadn’t given Brynn that cocaine.’ ”

Last year, Lovitz related, a drunken Dick strolled up to his table at Ago in West Hollywood, rudely downed his guests’ peach liqueur drinks, and “looked at me and said, ‘I put the “Phil Hartman hex” on you – you’re the next one to die.’ I said, ‘What did you say?’ and he repeated it. I wanted to punch his face in, but I don’t hit women.”

When the two ran into each other at the Laugh Factory last Wednesday, “I wanted him to say he was sorry for the ‘Phil Hartman hex,’ ” Lovitz told us. “First he says, ‘I don’t remember saying that.’ Then he leans in and says, ‘You know why I said it? Because you said I killed Phil Hartman.’ Which I never said. Then he asked me to be in his new movie.

“I grabbed him by the shirt and leaned him over and said, ‘I don’t want to be in your movie! I don’t want to be in your life!’ I pushed him against the rail. Then I pushed him again really hard. A security guard broke it up. I’m not proud of it . . . but he’s a disgusting human being.” Dick’s rep said he had no comment.

Dick’s weirdness has been well documented. Last year, he licked the faces of Farrah Fawcett, Carrie Fisher and Patton Oswalt, then groped and bit the hand of Post reporter Mandy Stadtmiller at a comedy-festival taping.

TEJ Herring, the longtime publicist for wacko comic Andy Dick, quit yesterday, less than an hour before Dick was to appear on the CW11 “Morning News” and then be feted at a roast on Howard Stern’s Sirius satellite radio show. Dick was a no-show for the Ch. 11 gig. Then, reports The Post’s Don Kaplan, as dozens of comedians began to gather in Stern’s studio for the roast, producer Gary Dell’Abate had to send an intern and a Town Car to extract Dick from his hotel room. Dell’Abate told Stern about the mess just as the show was starting. “The e-mail came in five minutes ago and [Herring] had resigned five minutes before that,” he told Stern, adding that Dick had “canceled [on CW11] at the last second . . . the people at CW11 hate him.” At the roast, Dick was crucified by the likes of Artie Lange, Greg Fitzsimmons, Dave Attell and Lisa Lampanelli, who joked, “People are surprised when they hear that Andy has kids, because the kids don’t admit it. To avoid embarrassment, they tell people that their father is Alec Baldwin.”

Andy Dick was caught snorting cocaine at a New York nightclub. As this exclusive Enquirer photo shows, the co-star of last year’s “Employee of the Month” was openly using the drug in front of stunned patrons at Manhattan’s Snitch club on April 24.

The 41 year olds act was snapped by an eyewitness, who told The Enquirer: “Andy dick was a complete mess. He was so out of it that most of the cocaine ended up around his nose rather than in his nose.”

After snorting the drug, observers said he acted like a madman. “He began banging around the place, making a nuisance of himself,” said the eyewitness. “Some of the other people on the dance floor were getting pretty worried.”
