Anna Kournikova was sparkling brighter than usual.
Kournikova, who has long been linked to singer Enrique Iglesias, showed up for Monday night’s World Team Tennis match with a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger – the finger normally reserved for engagement rings.
When asked the significance of the ring by The Associated Press, Kournikova replied, “I thought you were the good press.” The former Grand Slam doubles champion put her hand behind her back and did not elaborate.
Kournikova was scheduled to play for the St. Louis Aces. She will miss the season with a wrist injury, and wore a protective wrap on her left hand.
She still participated in a kid’s clinic, signed autographs and cheered on her teammates.

An unidentified woman threw a drink at the tennis ace. Kournikova and her pals were partying at Lavo after attending the Hardbat Classic table tennis tournament when a woman at the next table “threw a drink at Anna. She felt Anna was invading her space,” our source said. Kournikova “sprung into action” and starting screaming at the woman and shoving her. “It was a big fight,” the spy said. The woman was kicked out only after leaving Kournikova with some vicious scratch marks on her neck. Kournikova’s rep didn’t return calls.

Anna Kourni-curvier

When Anna Kournikova first stepped on to the international tennis stage in 1998, she quickly gained pin-up status thanks to her womanly curves.
Following a period out of the game due to injury, the Russian beauty returned to the scene three years ago cutting a skinnier, athletic frame, much to the disdain of her male fans.
Just four months after showing off her tiny figure at a triathlon in Florida, it appears the 27-year-old has regained the stunning figure that she was famous for.
The blonde was clearly proud of her shapely figure as she stepped out in a white mini skirt and plunging black camisole at the Red Carter swimwear fashion show for Miami Fashion Week at the Raleigh Hotel.
The tennis star, who lives in the sunshine state with boyfriend Enrique Iglesias, had a front row seat at the show, which gave her opportunity to ogle some hunky male models.

Earlier that day, Kournikova helped the St Louis Aces’ tennis team beat the Springfield Lasers at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park, Missouri.
Although she has not officially retired, Kournikova has been largely missing from the international tennis scene since 2003 after injuring her back and foot.
In recent years she has been devoting her energies to charity tennis matches, modelling and sport education.
Her super skinny appearance at a charity match several years ago hit the headlines and the tennis star was forced to defend her weight loss, insisting it was training to get back in the shape which had resulted in her tinier frame.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated magazine, Kournikova hit back at a series of press rumours regarding her romance with Iglesias and body shape.
She said: ‘I’m not married, not pregnant, didn’t have a boob job, no Botox. What else?
‘I’m a different person!. People say, “I can’t believe how much you’ve changed.” What did they expect? People grow, evolve. It would be sad if I didn’t change!’

Tennis star Anna Kournikova raced to the finish line during a celebrity relay this weekend, but says Andy Roddick will definitely beat her to the altar.
PEOPLE caught up with Kournikova at the First Annual Nautica South Beach Triathalon and asked about the recent engagement of swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker to tennis’ Roddick.
“They’re really young, but I hope it works out,” she said. And as for her own prospects with boyfriend Enrique Iglesias? “I’m never getting married,” she said, adding, “Everything is good.”
Meanwhile, Kournikova may have run four miles as part of a women’s relay team and come in first in the women’s celebrity division for St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, but to her it wasn’t “very much.”
“I just did the four-mile run,” she said. “But I just was really doing my normal exercise that I normally do … I exercise about an hour a day.” Her regimen includes 30 minutes of weights and 45 minutes of cardio, she explained. “I love the feeling of sweating. I’ve been exercising my whole life so I really love it.”
Just don’t count on her to stick to a diet either. “I don’t like restricting certain groups or certain types of food. I think everything in moderation is really the best way to go. I try to eat as healthy as I can, which is not always possible,” she said. “You know, I have my Burger King and McDonalds days, too.”
