Blake Lively claims she doesn’t exercise, but still has model good looks from burrito and chip diet
You might think Blake Lively’s towering stature and model good looks is the by-product of posh A-list amenities like a dietician, personal trainer and personal chef.
But the “Gossip Girl” star swears her modelesque physique is natural.
“I do panic before I have to wear a really skimpy outfit, but I don’t have enough willpower,” Lively told the August issue of UK Glamour Magazine.
The actress says she doesn’t have enough strength to flaunt her assets, but she sure looked comfortable in a low-cut, low-back Versace dress with a thigh-high slit at this year’s MET Costume Institute Gala.
And most recently, Lively put on a brave face as she wore denim cutoffs and a sheer white tee that exposed her bra while on the set of “Gossip Girl.”
The actress’ bout of indecent exposure must have made her nostalgic as this isn’t the first time she’s shown some skin.
“I had to do a scene in a bra and shorts for the first time in two years,” she said. “On the day of the shoot, I ate a pork burrito, chips and coke. Afterwards, I thought, ‘I probably shouldn’t have done that.’ But whatever.”
Although Lively, 21, has to frequently wear revealing designer duds on the hit CW show, the actress doesn’t attribute the gym for her lean body.
“I have never worked out, but I know you feel better when you do,” she says, “so I am planning on getting a trainer.”
One person who doesn’t mind her body is boyfriend and “GG” co-star Penn Badgely.
Lively and Badgely, 22, have been dating for more than a year and are frequently seen attached at the hip.
However, the actress confesses that she wasn’t too fond of her future on- and off-screen love when he was casted on the show.
“At first I was so upset that they hired him,” Lively said. “I actually poisoned the whole cast against him. But then they noticed that he wasn’t a jerk and was actually a really nice, charming person.”
Lively’s harsh words may be hard for her boyfriend to hear, especially since they claim to have been friends throughout their childhood.
She adds, “Almost immediately I realized that too, but it took me about a week to admit it.”
It may be time for the actress to send the “Gossip Girl” casting directors a thank you gift!

Stars Leighton Meester and Blake Lively were having trouble getting in and out of the very high heels the scene called for. “They needed crew members to help get them on,” our on-set spy dished. “The girls also had a lot of trouble walking in them.”
Which explains why the two starlets immediately slipped into their Uggs the moment the cameras turned off. Once comfy, Leighton played with her BlackBerry while Blake talked shop with the camera crew and costume designers.
Lively was overheard asking about a pair of Stuart Weitzman heels that an extra had been wearing a day before. The blond fashionista was upset when she heard they were the actress’ own. “Man, I loved them,” she sighed. We’re sure that Lively, like her character Serena Van Der Woodsen, will find a way to get what she wants!

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively rushed to her father’s side after his car tumbled down an embankment in L.A. on Monday, leaving him hospitalized with back and lung injuries.
“He’s going to make a full recovery, thankfully,” Blake’s mom, Elaine, tells Usmagazine.com.
“It was a horrific accident,” she adds. “He was on his way to the set of Criminal Minds, and he swerved to miss a car, and his car tumbled down an embankment.
“Blake is here, the whole family is here, and yesterday it didn’t look good,” says Elaine. “But thankfully, now we have been told he is going to make a full recovery. It’s all been taken care of.”
Ernie, “suffered back injuries, and also his lungs,” Elaine says. “But it if far less serious than we thought yesterday.
“We do not know when he will be out of hospital,” she says. “We are just happy he is going to be OK.”
