Britney Spears is supposedly dating her agent, Jason Trawick — so what is she doing spending so much alone time with record producer Dallas Austin? A source tells us Spears and Austin spent some time together “two weeks ago at Dallas’ house” in Atlanta, where, “It was just the two of them for a few nights.” Another source told us that while they were there, the power duo “discussed music, life, and work.” A rep for Austin denies the two are dating: “They are good friends and have been for a long time.”

Britney Spears proved she was alive and kicking by taking her family out on a boat trip.

The singer, who was the victim of a malicious hacker earlier in the week, headed out for a jaunt along the California coast yesterday with Jayden James and Sean Preston.

The trip provided happy evidence that she is fine and well after her Twitter micro-blogging page carried the astonishingly heartless message that she had died.

The posting, left by a hacker, read: ‘Britney has passed today. It is a sad day for everyone. More news to come.’

However, soon after the message was deleted when an official member of Britney’s crew insisted she was alive and well.

A post read: ‘Britney’s Twitter was just hacked. The last message is obviously not true. She is fine and dandy spending a quiet day at home relaxing.’

After completing the UK leg of her Circus tour last month, Britney is currently enjoying a two week break before she continues the European leg of her The Circus… Starring Britney Spears tour in Paris on Saturday.

And on Tuesday, the newly-brunette pop star brought Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, on a yachting trip off the coast of Los Angeles.

Setting off from the port of Marina Dey Rey, Britney looked relaxed in a stripy blue and white t-shirt and denim shorts as she hung out with her sons, a blonde friend and a bodyguard.

Sean and Jayden looked equally cool as they shielded their little eyes from the sun in matching green sunglasses and light blue shirts.

Sitting on a 30 foot Flybridge yacht, Britney pointed out sea life and birds to her inquisitive sons.

On the way back to her Hollywood home, Britney stopped by Fred Segal department store on Melrose Avenue and treated her boys to some inflatable guitars.

Britney is clearly loving being with her sons after being forced to spend lengthy times apart during a rocky 2008 when her ex-husband Kevin Federline was given custody of the boys.

However, under a recently agreed custody deal, Britney will now care for her sons for over 50 per cent of the time during the summer.

While Britney is on stage for her Circus tour, which returns to North America after the European leg wraps on July 26, Kevin will accompany her to care for the children.

Britney’s ever-changing hair has long been used as a barometer of her internal mood.

At the top of her game, it was long, blonde and glossy – at her lowest it was shorn to reveal her bald scalp.

So, as she stepped out with new love, and rumoured fiancé, Jason Trawick, her newly brunette hairdo was bound to raise eyebrows.

Her hair was long and dark – a change from a day earlier when it was shoulder-length, wavy and blonde.

She and Trawick laughed as they walked into a Bed Bath And Beyond store in Los Angeles.

Britney wore a huge sparkling diamond on her ring finger, sparking rumours the two are now engaged.

If so, they could have been feathering their nest – the bodyguard struggled out half way through their shopping spree with a cart full of bags, including a broom, to take to their 4×4.

During her relationship with her now ex-husband Kevin Federline, Britney also experimented with brown hair.

Yesterday, the dressed-down 27-year-old teamed her new ‘do with a bright orange vest and denim hotpants, while Trawick, 37, was equally casual.

The couple’s relationship was only confirmed earlier this month, but they are believed to have been dating for several months.

They made their first public appearance together at the end of May at a party for fashion designer Christian Audiger.

They were also spotted looking close on a Caribbean holiday last month, along with Britney’s father Jamie, brother Bryan and sons Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two.

At first glance there was nothing remarkable about the tired-looking young mother pushing her sons through Hyde Park.

The buggies were low-budget, the children dressed in shorts and t-shirts and their mother dressed down in jeans and a long-sleeved top.

But on closer inspection the blonde hiding beneath her baseball cap was none other than pop star Britney Spears – taking a break from entertaining thousands on her busy Circus tour.

The 27-year-old was with her manager Jason Trawick – recently revealed to be her new boyfriend.

While Britney is in London she is staying at the opulent Mandarin Oriental Hotel, which backs onto Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.

Her sons are staying elsewhere, while her ex-husband Kevin Federline is also in London.

He agreed to come along on the tour so that Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, were not separated from their mother for two long.

Britney was even said to be paying him $4,000 a week to travel with her so she could be near them.

This week lawyers for Britney and Federline reportedly filed documents with the U.S. family law Commissioner Scott Gordon, stating they have reached a new temporary custody arrangement.

U.S. gossip website TMZ reported that the family had agreed new custody arrangements for the tour.

Britney will have custody of her sons more than the 50per cent of the time for the rest of June, July and August.

The tour is a family affair for Britney – who is also accompanied by her sister Jamie-Lynn and father Jamie, who is managing her affairs.

Britney is coming to the end of her eight nights performing in London, and next will head to Manchester for one night and Dublin for two on the British leg of her Circus tour.

She will then head to France to continue her high-energy tour in Europe.

Love is in the air for Britney Spears!

After a string of failed relationships with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib and a devastating divorce from Kevin Federline, Britney Spears has finally found a new man.

Spears, 27, is reportedly dating her agent, Jason Trawick, People.com reports.

“They are totally and definitely dating,” the source says. “Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that happened to her.”
The report ends months of speculation revolving around the couple’s questionably close relationship.

The singer is said to have “always had a crush” on Trawick, who happens to be one of her brother Bryan’s best friends.

The couple recently took a vacation in the Bahamas with her sons, Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2, in May.

“They’re very sweet together,” the source says. “He makes Britney really happy, and he’s great with the boys.”

Spears’s rep had no comment.

Looks like Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2, learned a few dance moves from their mom Britney Spears.

A former TMZ photographer sued Britney Spears on Friday over an incident in which his foot was run over.

Ricardo Mendoza filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles on Friday against her, claiming that Spears negligently operated her car and committed assault and battery when she ran over his foot in Beverly Hills on Oct. 18, 2007.

Several media outlets picked up footage of the incident, including celebrity gossip site TMZ, where Mendoza worked at the time.

TMZ, which first reported the lawsuit, auctioned off his tire-stained sock and donated the proceeds to charity.

Mendoza is also suing a pair of Spears’ companies, claiming their agents should have known that Spears wasn’t capable of properly driving the vehicle.

The incident happened during a turbulent period for Spears, who hours earlier had lost custody of her two sons. The singer, whose most recent album is “Circus,” has since regained visitation rights.

Her father, Jamie, has maintained control of the 27-year-old Spears’ personal and financial affairs since February 2008.

Spears was accused of running over another photographer’s foot a month after the incident involving Mendoza, but prosecutors said in that incident it was more the photographer’s fault. They declined to press charges.

An e-mail message sent to Spears’ publicist seeking comment was not immediately returned Friday.

The pop tart took time off from her “Circus” tour to do an Elle magazine shoot, our spy says, and it was a disaster. “They dressed her in all these beautiful couture clothes — and, well, let’s just say she forgot what time of the month it was. It wasn’t pretty.” A rep for Spears didn’t return e-mails. But at least she didn’t let her dog poop on the clothes like she did at an OK! magazine shoot last year.
