Kim Kardashian and Brittney Gastineau were multi-tasking courtside at the Knicks-Pistons game the other night. “Kim texted the whole time, not paying attention, while Brittny looked for the cameras,” our spy says. When the Madison Square Garden cameras focused on Kardashian and the crowd roared, Gastineau wasn’t happy.” Later, our source reports, “they both went out the players’ entrance and Kim again stopped to text. Brittny seemed desperate for attention, but the players were asking Kim what she was doing.”

BRITTNY Gastineau lost her composure – and her jewelry – at Villa in Los Angeles Saturday night. While Gastineau celebrated her 25th birthday, she was distracted by the kisses of Doug Reinhardt, who is best known for being a minor player on “The Hills.” During her face-sucking session with the D-Lister, “she lost a $20,000 bracelet that belonged to her mom, and her expensive camera,” said our spy. “Brittny was so upset.”

PROFESSIONAL party-attendee Kevin Federline was looking for a new “Brit” the other night. The famous ex of Britney Spears was at Coco de Ville in LA “staring at Brittny Gastineau while she was waiting in line for the bathroom,” said our spy. Federline, who has custody of his and Spears’ sons, “wouldn’t stop checking her out, up and down, but Brittny was not interested.” A rep for Federline had no comment.

Spies outside Hamptons club Lily Pond saw two girls leaving the Vitamin Energy party there Saturday and “walk directly into Brittny and knock her to the ground.” But the bawdy brunette, still recovering from injuries from a car accident, let the duo have it. The twosome had a reality series, “Gastineau Girls,” which chronicled their lives in New York in 2004, but Brittny was overheard discussing her own show at the Four Seasons Hotel in LA with MTV honcho Tony DiSanto the other night. “She was complaining that she can’t find a good man, so maybe it’ll follow her search for a boyfriend,” we’re told. Her mom is also discussing a “cougar-esque” show with producers, said an insider.
