BRITTNY Gastineau, the reality TV star who’s now a staple on the Los Angeles scene, has been victimized by an identity thief who’s charging thousands on her credit card. A friend of Gastineau alerted Page Six to the situation, telling us, “a blond girl who drives around in a Mercedes in LA has charged $1,800 to Kitson and $5,000 to Saks Fifth Avenue” by claiming to be Gastineau’s assistant. “Brittny doesn’t have an assistant,” said the source, “so that’s why she’s so upset. They told her she ordered a Member’s Only jacket and some per fume from Kitson and shoes from Saks, but she hasn’t even been to Kitson in years.” Gastineau confirmed the story, telling us, “I haven’t gone through all the charges yet, but at least $7,000 [has] been charged. I’m going to file a police report, and this girl is going to jail. She’s shopping under my name at all these places – the idiot. She’s not even ordering the right sizes.”
