A spy who attended a dinner party thrown by fashion label Sergio Rossi at Sole East in Montauk tells Page Six that Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Esti Ginzburg, 19, was texting the “Gossip Girl” star all night Sunday and left the party to go meet up with him. Ginzburg is slated to star with Crawford in “Twelve,” Joel Schumacher’s adaptation of Nick McDonell’s book about drug-addled NYC prep schoolers.

Chace Crawford Makes a Mockery of Fashion Week at Narciso Rodriguez Party
At last night’s Narciso Rodriguez after-party at the Gramercy Park Hotel, Hamish Bowles told us “I’d love to do a fashion line,” and Kanye West said his own much-discussed line is nearly ready (“I think I’ve finally got something that I think works”). But not everyone sounded so ambitious. “I don’t know what it is about me that people think I could do a fashion line,” said Chace Crawford, who admitted he didn’t even know who Narciso Rodriguez is. “It would be a big pain in the ass. I would never do it, ever. I barely wear these clothes.” He wasn’t the only one getting irreverent.
Moments after Kirna Zabête co-owner Beth Buccini asserted that, due to the economy, “There isn’t the great sense of debauchery that you often feel during Fashion Week,” Josh Hartnett stumbled into an empty booth nearby, sending multiple glasses of Champagne crashing to the floor. Asked if he’d be willing to entertain our questions, he gave a bit of a confused response: “Sure. I mean, okay … actually, no.” Oh. “Sorry, I’m half-lit.”

Forget Serena! Chace Crawford is spotted cuddling with British singer Leona Lewis.
The music video of “I Will Be” features the Gossip Girl star as her partner-in-crime. In the opening scene of the ballad (watch above), Lewis hands Crawford a suitcase full of cash.
“I’m not leaving you here alone,” he says.
The video was shot in New York City on Dec. 18.
The song appears on Lewis’ debut album, Spirit. She is re-releasing a deluxe edition of the Grammy-nominated album, which will be in stores Feb. 3.

Chace Crawford likes the look of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
“I’m not gonna lie. Sarah Palin is quite attractive,” Crawford admitted Wednesday at the Stand Up For A Cure Concert Series at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Wednesday.
Who is Crawford voting for?
“I can’t talk politics,” he said.
Crawford recently revealed to Usmagazine.com that he would love 30 Rock star Tina Fey to make a guest appearance on Gossip Girl.
Coincidentally, Fey’s 30 Rock character Liz Lemon bears a resemblance to Palin with her horn-rimmed glasses and up-do.
“I love Liz Lemon. She’s funny, she’s so down-to-earth, I love her,” Crawford told Us.
If Fey were to appear on Gossip Girl, “I don’t know if I don’t be able to talk, I think I’d just freeze up,” Crawford confessed.
Actor Matt Damon is not a fan of Palin.
“I think there’s a really good chance Sarah Palin could become president, and I think that’s a really scary thing,” he told the Associated Press.

Chace Crawford says he can sometimes get uncomfortable with the racy undertone of his CW hit Gossip Girl.
“Is that a weight on my conscience?” Crawford says in a new interview with London’s The Independent. “Well, yes, I think it is. I come from a moral background, and I can see the power of the show, and imagine my old school teachers cringing, or my grandparents thinking, ‘Oh, my God,’ when they see me, say, having sex on a barstool. But you have to remember, this is not a reality show. It’s supposed to be pure entertainment.”
He says the show isn’t “making an instruction manual telling [teens] how to drink and do drugs, or have sex. We’re just laying out how it is.
“My character is very conflicted, and even in the episodes where he’s having sex then dumping girls, there’s often regret,” Crawford says of his role as preppy stud Nate Archibald. “You know, there are repercussions to certain sorts of behavior that come full circle.”
Sometimes he says he’ll put a limit on how much skin he’ll show. Recently, he convinced producers to let him keep his shirt on.
“I never actually said I disliked having my top off; it was just that on that occasion it didn’t make sense,” he explains. “Nate was supposed to be waking up, hungover, on his buddy’s couch. So why would he be in his boxer shorts?
“I don’t actually mind taking my clothes off most of the time – it’s why I go to the gym,” he says. “As an actor, you pick and choose your battles.”
Achieving fame so fast “can be a double-edged sword,” Crawford admits. “But right now, I couldn’t ask for more, and I certainly never complain about it.”
He says he laughed off rumors that he and co-star Ed Westwick are having a fling. (Crawford was also romantically linked to JC Chasez, though both vehemently deny gay rumors.)
“It’s kind of funny,” Crawford tells the paper. “I guess some people assume there’s a seed of truth to it. People think where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”
He says he wasn’t sure who started the rumors — and doesn’t care.
“I just don’t even want to speculate on that. It’s just one of those things that rolls off my back,” Crawford says. “There’s not one seed of truth to it, so it’ll just go away in the end.”

At a recent birthday party for talent manager Eric Podwall at the Motley Bird Nest in LA, both Rumer Willis and Brittny Gastineau were competing for Crawford’s attention. “Rumer had the shortest jean shorts on and walked in and immediately looked for him. She hugged him and kept dancing near him,” said our spy. “He wouldn’t give her the time of day. Brittny was also dying to meet him. She told him they should hang out in New York.”
