CHLOE Sevigny (above) can be bought – for a high price. The “Big Love” star was paid a cool $50,000 to host a New Year’s Eve party at the Gansevoort Hotel in South Beach, according to musictoob.com. (Guests, on the other hand, had to shell out $225 to attend.) Sevigny – who told this month’s Esquire, “I don’t know how much things cost. Like a BMW. Or a quart of milk. It’s embarrassing” – spent New Year’s Day on the beach reading The Post.

PARTYGOERS wondering why Chloe Sevigny bailed on her hosting duties at the ninth-anniversary party for Nylon magazine Wednesday night, wonder no more. LEGENDARY actor Harry Dean Stanton still parties so hard, he has trouble recognizing Chloe Sevigny , who plays his daughter on HBO’s “Big Love.” Sevigny told BlackBook magazine, “The funny thing is, I’ll see Harry Dean at whatever Hollywood-event, red-carpet thing, and walk up to him wearing some crazy, sexy dress, and he’ll be shaking my hand and going, ‘Now, who are you again?’ He never recognizes me. But, whatever, he’s 86 years old. And he still likes to party . . . I think he comes to the set sometimes straight from the party.”

PAUL Sevigny is worried about his sister Chloe Sevigny’s love life, and he blames it all on her L.A.-based HBO show, “Big Love.” “Chloe goes out with a wonderful man, Matt McAuley. I introduced them seven years ago,” Sevigny told Webster Hall’s Baird Jones at the Members Only party at the Bowery Hotel. ” ‘Big Love’ is not helping. It’s a lot of sacrifice. She gets maybe one day off in the week and she can’t come home for just one day, that’s ridiculous. They work her extremely hard. But Matt has a job, too, and can’t go see her, so he is stuck in New York. It’s a big problem.”
