Christina Ricci has admitted she used explicit photos of herself when vying for the role in Black Snake Moan.
The controversial new movie features Ricci playing a sex abuse victim, a part she landed having sent the director sexually explicit pictures of herself. She spends a lot of the movie chained to a radiator half-naked.
The 26-year-old said: “My agent inundated writer/director Craig Brewer with photo shoots I’d done that are pure sex shoots.â€
Actress Christina Ricci was so determined to land a sexy role in Justin Timberlake’s new film she threatened to quit the movie business if she failed.
The Sleepy Hollow star had to convince Hustle & Flow director Craig Brewer that she was the perfect choice to play femme fatale Rae, who beds Timberlake at the beginning of the steamy film, and she’s sure her desperation and determination shone through.
She says, “I had said to my therapist that if I didn’t get the part, I would have to quit this business”.
And the pint-sized movie star admits her new role is so sexually charged she won’t be bedding co-stars any time soon.
She adds, “I think I’ve had enough sex for the next two years of my career with this movie”.
