THE curse of James Bond has struck again – after 007 actor Daniel Craig sliced off the tip off one of his fingers filming an action sequence.

Craig, 39, was taken to hospital today while the 22nd Bond movie, Quantum of Solace was being shot at Pinewood Studios, reports the UK’s Daily Mail.

It is the second time in two weeks that Craig has been injured during filming. A week ago his face was cut and required eight stitches.

But after the injury to his hand in the morning he was back on set to resume filming in the afternoon.

“There was quite a lot of blood and it was decided he needed to go to hospital for emergency treatment,” explained a member of the Bond production team.

A spokesman for production company Eon said that the actor was taken to see a doctor as “a precaution”.

The accident is the latest in a spate of mishaps that have plagued the latest Bond film.

At the weekend a fire broke out and caused severe damage on an outdoor Bond set at Pinewood.

The 007 studio at Pinewood had been open for only a year after it had to be rebuilt after a previous fire destroyed a giant replica of Venice during filming of the last Bond film, Casino Royale.

Some people are beginning to believe the film is jinxed.

Daniel Craig’s new James Bond has already broken records – for rolling an Aston Martin.

Stuntmen on the film decided the new 007 should make a name for himself in the Guinness Book of Records and set about planning a car crash stunt to end all car stunts.

Craig explains, “The stunt guys who did the car turning over and over during the crash scene made the Guinness Book of World Records because turning a car over and over like that has never been done on film that many times.”

Bond Girl Reveals Audition Hell

Meanwhile new Bond girl Caterina Murino almost missed out on the coveted role in upcoming 007 movie Casino Royale after breaking a rib days before her audition.

The 32-year-old Italian plays Solange in the film – the wife of bad guy Dimitrios – who has a brief fling with the British superspy.

But Murino never imagined she’d get the action role after injuring herself in a horseriding accident and hobbling into the Bond casting.

James Bond star Daniel Craig was so nervous over his sexy bedroom scenes in new movie Casino Royale that he used STAND-INS.

Daniel, 38, admitted: “I had stunt men all the way.

“Stunt p***s? I’ve got four or five.”

But the blond 007 was determined to do his own stunts outside the bedroom.

He revealed: “I got hurt every day.

“All the stunt guys are as hard as teak — I can’t show any pain in front of them.” The movie premieres next week in London.
