The actress was reportedly hospitalised on Monday night after paramedics were called to her Los Angeles home, and now she is seeking “further professional assistance,”.

It is not clear why the star, who recently split from husband Ashton Kutcher, was taken to hospital, but her representative states, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

Actress Demi Moore, who recently ended her six-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher, says her worst fear is finding she is “not worthy of being loved”.

In an interview conducted just one week after Moore filed for divorce in November, the “Ghost” star opened up to her friend, British photographer Amanda De Cadenet, for the February edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

Moore, 49, did not directly address her split with Kutcher, the 33-year-old star of television comedy “Two and A Half Men.” The marriage foundered after a San Diego woman went public about a brief fling she had with Kutcher.

But in a wide-ranging conversation with De Cadenet about insecurities, Moore said; “What scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being loved. That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me…and that I wasn’t wanted here in the first place.”

The marriage was Moore’s third, and the 16-year age difference between her and Kutcher made them the subject of constant media attention.

Moore added that freedom for her meant, “Letting go of the outcome. Truly being in the moment. Not reflecting on the past. Not projecting into the future. That’s freedom. Not caring more about what other people think than what you think. That’s freedom.

“To not be defined by your wounds. Somebody wrote something to me that said, ‘Don’t let your wounds make you become someone you’re not.’ That’s really powerful. And not taking life too seriously,” she told De Cadenet.

The actress, who has recently lost weight and alarmed media by her thin appearance, also said she has had a “love-hate” relationship with her body but that now she accepted it.

“When I’m at the greatest odds with my body, it’s usually because I feel my body’s betraying me, whether that’s been in the past, struggling with my weight and feeling that I couldn’t eat what I wanted to eat, or that I couldn’t get my body to do what I wanted it to do.

“I think I sit today in a place of greater acceptance of my body, and that includes not just my weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you age to now experiencing my body as extremely thin — thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, “You’re too thin, and you don’t look good.”

Moore and De Cadenet are executive producers of a new TV interview series called “The Conversation” that is due to premiere on cable channel Lifetime later in 2012.

The actress confirmed she and Ashton were splitting on Thursday – shortly after it was alleged he had cheated on her with another woman – and she is said to be planning to claim part of his personal fortune, even though they signed a prenuptial agreement before their 2005 wedding.

At the time of their wedding Demi, 49, was said to have assets of $150 million, and a further $75 million from her divorce settlement with second husband Bruce Willis. Ashton, 33, was at the beginning of his career, and not personally wealthy, though he is now thought to command around $600,000 an episode for starring in ‘Two and Half Men’ and earn up to £4 million a year from various investments.

A source close to Demi said: “With a pre-nuptial agreement, Ashton should be sitting pretty.

“These agreements are designed to protect one’s earnings during the marriage as well as one’s pre-nuptial assets.
“But Demi is furious, raging in fact â?? you only have to look at every photo you see of her to see the toll Ashton’s cheating has taken on her.

“She wants to punish him financially because of the way he has broken her heart. She is talking about going after a share of what he has earned since their marriage on the grounds that she contributed to much of what he has achieved.

“She is going to give him a bitter fight and, whether or not she wins, it will be an expensive lesson for him.”
Demi and Ashton’s marriage was rocked when 23-year-old Sara Leal claimed the actor had sex with her at a San Diego hotel room in September. The couple are thought to have tried therapy sessions in an attempt to save their marriage, but Demi finally decided she couldn’t forgive Ashton.

The source added: “She was a wreck. She believes strongly in marriage and she really didn’t want to spend her middle years alone. But in the end, she just couldn’t see any way of making things work.”

Demi Moore is ending her marriage to fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, she told The Associated Press on Thursday. Moore, 49, and Kutcher, 33, were wed in September 2005.

The couple’s relationship became tabloid fodder in recent months as rumors swirled about Kutcher’s alleged infidelity.

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation,” she said in her statement to the AP.

The pair frequently used Twitter to communicate with each other as millions of fans followed along.

“I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi,” Kutcher tweeted Thursday. “Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.”

Moore said in 2007 that her relationship with the star of “That `70s Show” and “Punk’d” – who is 15 years younger than Moore – “caught us both by surprise.”

“If somebody would have said, `OK, here is the prediction: You’re going to meet a man 25 years old and he’s going to see being with you and having your three kids as a bonus,’ I would have said, `Keep dreaming,’” Moore said in a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair. “I think it caught us both by surprise, and particularly him.”

Kutcher became a stepfather to Moore’s three daughters – Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Belle – from her 13-year marriage to actor Bruce Willis. Moore and Willis divorced in 2000 but remained friendly. Moore and Kutcher were photographed socializing with Willis, and the couple attended Willis’ wedding to model-actress Emma Heming in 2009.

Moore and Kutcher created the DNA Foundation, also known as the Demi and Ashton Foundation, in 2010 to combat the organized sexual exploitation of girls around the globe. They later lent their support to the United Nations’ efforts to fight human trafficking, a scourge the international organization estimates affects about 2.5 million people worldwide.

Moore can be seen on screen in the recent films “Margin Call” and “Another Happy Day.” Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen on TV’s “Two and a Half Men” as is part of the ensemble film “New Year’s Eve,” set for release next month.

Kutcher’s publicist did not immediately respond to an e-mail and phone call seeking comment. No divorce papers had been filed in Los Angeles Superior Court as of Thursday afternoon.

Breathe a sigh of relief: You may never be the victim of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore’s oversharing again.

The Twitter-obsessed duo is threatening to sign off of the global networking site if a proposed reality show comes to fruition. According to Variety, Twitter.com is linking with TV producers Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment for an “unscripted show that would be putting ordinary people on the trail of celebrities in a revolutionary competitive format.”

Responded Kutcher: “Wow, I hope this isn’t true. I really don’t like being sold out. May have to take a twitter hiatus.”

Demi, who posted photos of herself with a missing front tooth over the weekend (below r.), echoed her young hubby: “I hope this isn’t true – if it is, our Twitter time may come to a quick and sad end!”

The couple’s rationale for potentially withholding their 140-character-or-less gems of wisdom? “How about … I don’t want to be stalked!!!” Kutcher tweeted.

Twitter founders acknowledged a “simple agreement” with both networks and production companies in a blog post Tuesday, but denied any “official Twitter show.” However, they did add that “Twitter’s open approach might have the power to transform television.”

You mean the photos Ashton posted of Demi ironing in her underwear weren’t transformative enough?

The A-list was out in full force at Bloomberg/Vanity Fair’s post-Correspondents Dinner reception. “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm offered to buy us a free drink, while Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore took a break from Twittering.

Kutcher, who beat most of his CNN tablemates at dinner with constant updates, paused to befriend the late Tim Russert’s son, Luke (a lapsed Twitterer, who hasn’t posted since March).

Said an eyewitness, “Demi and Ashton spent ages chatting with Luke, but they weren’t the only ones. He was like the ‘It’ boy. Even Mayor Bloomberg wanted to meet him.”

Rashida Jones was busy “trying to organize” her cadre of funny friends, who had all gone missing, including Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Amy Poehler.

Claire Danes left fiancé Hugh Dancy’s side to giggle about Obama’s speech with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. We also caught Kerry Washington gossiping with Natalie Portman about their dining partners. “Did you see Bradley Cooper’s face?” chuckled Washington. “He had no clue what was going on!”

Demi Moore used her Twitter account to save the life of a suicidal woman.

A woman sent the actress a message on the social networking site Friday that said: “Getting a knife, a big one that is sharp. Going to cut my arm down the whole arm so it doesn’t waste time.”

In response, Demi re-posted her message on her own Twitter page, adding, “Hope you are joking.”

She told her followers in the post that she just couldn’t let the message go unnoticed.

“Everyone I was very torn about responding or retweeting that woman’s post but felt uncomfortable just letting it go,” Moore tweeted.

Some of the 380,000 followers of Moore (her Twitter name is mrskutcher, after her husband Ashton Kutcher) responded to her post, saying that they had reached out to police.

“The twitterverse is on the case just called silicon valley pd to report this woman many others had called. fingers crossed,” one user wrote in a post.

A rep for the San Jose Police Department said they “received several phone calls” about the woman starting at 3 a.m. on Friday, Access Hollywood reports. Police were able to locate the woman, who had not yet hurt herself.

Moore and Kutcher were both thankful when they found out the woman was safe.

Kutcher tweeted: “Wifey reported a suicide attempt based on a at reply tweet she got and saved someones life. The woman is in the hospital now.”

Moore also thanked her followers for their help.

“Thanks everyone for reaching out to the San Jose PD i am told they are aware and no need to call anymore. I do not know this woman,” she wrote. “I am inspired by the enormous response of humanity here and thank you…”

She added most recently: “Today was a prime example of the power of collective consciousness and our incredible ability to create change when we come together!”
