Denise Richards has won the E! reality series premiere showdown!

Denise Richards: It’s Complicated grabbed 1.5 million total viewers, while Living Lohan drew in 1.45 million total viewers.

Both shows launched back-to-back on Monday.

Dina Lohan recently told The View that she opened her home to cameras, “to defuse rumors about my family.”

Dina’s daughter, Ali has made it clear she craves fame. “I want it so bad. So bad you don’t even know. And now, it’s actually happening,” she has told Teen Vogue. “I’ve already been asked for my autograph, and it’s just a really good feeling to have.”

Meanwhile, Richards has been criticized by ex husband Charlie Sheen and his fiancee Brooke Mueller for including her daughters with Sheen – Sam, 3, and Lola, 2, in her series.

“If I have my kids on my show, I’m exploiting them,” the actress told Redbook. “If I don’t, people will think I’m not a hands on mom- That’s why it’s very important to me that the girls are part of it.”

Two years ago, Dina Lohan says, she never would have done a reality show. Yet now she is opening up her life with Living Lohan, a reality series with daughter Ali, 14.

The show, filmed inside the Lohan home on Long Island, premieres May 26 on E! and centers on Ali pursuing her dream to become a singer and Dina managing her career, just as she does for her other daughter, Lindsay, 21.

“What’s opened up now is not our life. It’s rumors and it’s tabloidism,” Dina says with Ali sitting beside her in a suite at the Waldorf-Astoria. “My back as a single mom was against the wall. … We have the power to set the record straight. With all the Internet, YouTube and all the silliness out there, I think it’s time for (me) as a mother to protect my kids and just say, ‘This is who we are.’ ”

Lindsay has had her share of problems, including stints in rehab. Does Dina believe she has protected her well, and will she do anything differently with Ali?

“You don’t have children and have a rule book,” Dina says. “Lindsay, whether she were in the business or not, fortunately or unfortunately made — we’re all going to make mistakes. I think Ali, too. God willing she’ll learn from what I instill in her and what her sister teaches her.”

One thing she has instilled: animosity toward tabloids.

Ali says: “When the tabloids say something bad, it makes us stronger as a family because we stick together. So keep it coming, guys.”

“Oh no,” her mother says.

MORE surprised than anyone that Dina Lohan was honored as a “top mom” this week was her ex-husband, Michael Lohan, who called the award from the Mingling Moms Organization “a joke.”

Michael fumed, “Are you kidding! Top celebrity mom? Look at her off-screen antics, her lack of morals and how she conducts herself. I guess they forgot to mention how this top super-mom leaves her kids alone at night and even parties in their presence. Just wait until we go back to court.

“She comes stumbling out of Butter at 3:15 a.m. with bloodshot eyes and a red runny nose, yelling ‘Oh, [bleep],’ when she saw the paparazzi,” Michael raged to Page Six.

He also ranted that his ex missed their weekly family therapy appointment in order to attend the award ceremony Tuesday night in Bethpage, LI.
But Dina responded to Michael’s remarks by calling him “infantile.”

“He’s a loose cannon,” she declared. “We speak to a therapist once a week and I’m not required to be there. My kids want me there, so I go. Obviously with our [TV] show and the event, [daughter] Ali and I reschedule.

“I’ve allowed him visitation once a week, so I don’t understand why he’s doing this. He’s jealous that I got the award. He even called the organizers and tried to talk them out of giving it to me.”

Dina fears that Michael will now try to contact her directly. She says she has a restraining order against him until 2011 she thinks he’ll violate.
“He’s using the media to talk to me,” Dina said. “I’m getting nervous. Lindsay came to town two weeks ago and wanted security guys there in case he showed up. His parole officer needs to see what he’s doing and realize that he cannot address me directly or indirectly. He wears a tracking device and they’ll know if he comes anywhere near me. He’s on a mission to destroy me.”

HERE’S one for the books: Dina Lohan is being honored as a great mother.

Right now, Dina’s daughter, Lindsay, is literally a poster girl for bad behavior. Her mug shot appears in liquor-industry ads as an example of a “hard-core drunk driver” who needs a Breathalyzer to stay off the road (even though the ads are against having the devices in every car).

Yet, Dina will be named a “Top Mom” tonight by a Long Island-based charity, Mingling Moms Organization, even though Lindsay went to rehab three times last year and was jailed for drunken driving and cocaine possession.

Mingling Moms president Erica Logiudice called Dina “such a dedicated mom . . . Through all the ups and downs of Lindsay, she has been by her side.”

Some of Dina’s fellow honoree moms are: Rae Stern, mother of shock jock Howard Stern; Lillian Robinson (Eddie Murphy); Ann Iris Guttenberg (Steve Guttenberg); Betty Seinfeld (Jerry Seinfeld); Shelley Stevens Herschlag (Natalie Portman); Amy Hughes (Olympic skating gold medalist Sarah Hughes); and Eileen Connolly (“Entourage” star Kevin Connolly).

They’ll all celebrate with a dinner at the Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage to benefit breast cancer research.

“My mom’s a bit more normal,” Connolly laughed when we told him his mother would be honored alongside Dina Lohan. “I wouldn’t have a career at all it wasn’t for her. She’s my favorite person in the world.”

Dina said she’ll be attending the event with her own mom, Ann Sullivan. “It’s an honor,” said Lohan. “It’s a wonderful organization. It’s for a good cause.”

Ali Lohan, who will star with Dina in the new reality show, “Living Lohan,” told us: “My mom is great, she has always been there for us. She helps us follow our dreams. I love her to death.”

With Lindsay Lohan’s whirlwind rinse cycle year of rehab, arrest, rehab, arrest, rehab… the Lohan family has seen it all. And now we can, too. LiLo’s little sister, Ali, and mom, Dina, are going to document the day-by-day happenings in their showbiz family’s life on a new reality show for E!, tentatively titled Living Lohan.

Dina, 45, tells PageSix.com that they decided to do a reality show because, “… we have no choice. Tabloids and reality shows are not going away. If they know who Ali is as a person, it’s better.”

Dina and Ali, 14, kept their distance from father Michael Lohan on the red carpet at last night’s premiere of the WE documentary High School Confidential, but they all talked reality TV, pressure in Hollywood, and of course, Lindsay.

Although Lindsay may be making a few cameos on the show, Dina insists, “Lindsay has her own career. It’s about Ali.”

Last month, Ali told Teen Vogue, “I grew up watching Lindsay. It made me want to do what she does… I want it so bad. So bad you don’t even know.”

Although big sis Lindsay has been through the Hollywood ringer this year, Ali has no reservations about being in the spotlight, telling PageSix.com, “I’m so excited.”

In fact, the Mean Girls star had some advice for little sister Ali. Ali tells PageSix.com that Lindsay told her, “Stay strong. Don’t let rumors tear you apart. Don’t let anybody bring you down.”

Dina’s estranged ex-husband, Michael, who arrived separately, said of the planned reality show, “Well, it’s their choice. If they are going to do something positive… my hat’s off to them.”

Michael doesn’t believe that his movie star daughter is reality show material, however, telling PageSix.com, “Lindsay is a silver screen star; she’s an actress. I don’t think the reality genre is a place for her and I don’t think she thinks so either.”

Michael added that he feels the press has focused on the “fair and positive” since he has repaired his formerly troubled relationship with Lindsay, telling PageSix.com , “It’s hard when you’re in jail and people are saying things.”

Lindsay Lohan isn’t the only star in her family.

Her mom, Dina Lohan, is starring in a reality show, tentatively titled Living Lohan, E! officially announced Tuesday. Debuting this summer, the series will follow the Lohan matriarch as she juggles family life with business, attempting to launch 14-year-old daughter Ali’s entertainment career. Like her famous sister, Ali wants to sing and act – and plans to record songs at Las Vegas’ Palms Casino on the show.

The program will also focus on Lindsay’s 11-year-old brother Cody and Michael, 20, who is in college.

“The Lohans are one of the most intriguing families in the entertainment industry today,” Lisa Berger of E! said in a statement. “This is a family that knows how to roll with the punches and come out on top. Dina is an incredibly hard-working, passionate mom that I think our viewers will find both relatable and highly entertaining.”

While shooting has already begun, PEOPLE confirms that Dina and Ali will begin another round of filming March 17 in New York, followed by another two-week period in Las Vegas where Ali will hit up Maloof’s recording studio.

The next phase of Lindsay Lohan’s sentence for misdemeanor drunk-driving may not be for the squeamish – she’ll have to spend time in a Los Angeles County morgue – but her manager-mom Dina tells PEOPLE she’s up for it.

“Lindsay will do whatever the judge orders her to do,” Dina Lohan says, “so she she can put this behind her and move on with her life.”

Lohan’s DUI plea agreement included rehab, a stint in jail (she served 84 minutes) and community service – part of which she’s taking care of by spending two, 4-hour days in the morgue. After that, she’ll spend two days working in an emergency room.
