Actress Drew Barrymore has confirmed her wedding plans by releasing a photograph of herself wearing her new engagement ring.

Reports emerged on Thursday suggesting the Charlie’s Angels star’s boyfriend Will Kopelman proposed during a winter break in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Barrymore, who started dating Kopelman last year following the breakdown of her relationship with actor Justin Long, has now confirmed the happy news via her representative to People.com.

The star has also released an official picture of herself sitting with the art consultant and smiling widely as she shows off her new engagement ring, which was designed by the Graff Diamonds jewellery company.

Barrymore has been married twice before – to bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994 and comedian Tom Green in 2001. Both marriages lasted less than five months.

If Drew Barrymore thought ex-boyfriend Justin Long just wasn’t that into her, she was definitely mistaken.

Although the pair split last July after dating for nearly a year, Long was on hand to support his ex-gal pal — and act as a boyfriend figure — at Tuesday’s premiere of her HBO flick “Grey Gardens.”

The lady of the hour was more than happy to have Long by her side. “Oh yes! I’m so happy [he’s here!],” Barrymore told us at the film’s after-party at the Pierre.

She was quick to add, “We’re just friends, but I love that he supports me, and I always support him. We’re actually making [another]
movie together called ‘Going the Distance.’ It’s a comedy — oh my God, it’ll be the best!”

Wethinks the lady doth protest too much — as does Long. When we approached him with the “just friends” line from Barrymore, he muttered, “ugh … ” before casting a shifty eye toward his ex and saying, “Umm, yeah. Good friends.”

The Mac Guy was more than complimentary of his lady’s acting skills in “Grey Gardens,” gushing: “I have no words — it was amazing. It was beautiful; she was beautiful. This [movie] was transformative, and on another level from how I know her. She went really deep; she worked her ass off. [But] I always knew she was talented and amazing. I’m very proud, and very happy.”

The pair certainly looked happy after the screening, when we caught them hugging for a very long time. While friends and fans waited to congratulate Barrymore on her success, she clung to Long while crying tears of joy. For the remainder of the evening, the two stuck to each other’s sides.

“Justin couldn’t stop talking about how amazing Drew is,” said one partygoer. “He’s very clearly into her. Neither Drew nor Justin brought dates, and they gravitated toward one another for the entire evening.”

Although the two left separately just before 1 a.m., they met up immediately afterward at the Bowery Hotel. Says a witness, “They were definitely together and looked so, so happy.”

A rep for Long says the pair are “just friends,” while Barrymore’s flack offered a “no comment.”

“They are still friends,” a source close to Barrymore tells Us.

Barrymore, 33, and Long, 30, have been together since August 2007.

“I’ve been very fortunate,” Long told Us in November. “I just feel very blessed and happy!”

The two knew each other for seven years before becoming serious.

“My cheeks hurt, I’m so happy,” Barrymore told March’s Vogue when asked about the relationship.

Asked what comes to mind when he thinks about Barrymore, Long gushed to the magazine: “Beauty and light, and she shines it on everybody who comes into contact with her.”

The couple will star in He’s Just Not That Into You, due out in February.

The actress, an amateur photographer in her free time, borrowed a camera from the house fotog at Saturday’s Playboy Golf lingerie party and started snapping away at Bunnies. “One Bunny was bent over, balancing teacups on her butt that Andy Milonakis had placed there, and Drew said, ‘I have to get this shot,’ ” said our spy.

Talk about a “big give”: Drew Barrymore announced on Monday’s Oprah Winfrey Show that she is donating $1 million to the World Food Programme to help feed children in Africa.

“I have seen with my own eyes what a difference a simple cup of nutritious porridge can make in a child’s life,” the actress said. “It helps them learn, stay healthy and sets them on track for a bright future.”

Barrymore, 33, has worked with the charity since 2005 and became an Ambassador Against Hunger last year. She’s taken two trips to Kenya to see the organization’s work first hand.

“We have a dream … to feed another 10 million hungry school children in Africa by Thanksgiving Day,” said WFP Executive Director Josette Sheeran, who also appeared on Oprah.
