Eva Longoria-Parker Designs a Special Tee to Benefit the Palomita Education Fund
The Palomita Education Fund is incredibly pleased to announce that actress Eva Longoria Parker has joined the already illustrious bouquet of Latino celebrities supporting the Palomita Education Fund, and will be participating in the upcoming charity event, Piensa Mas Alla…Think Beyond, on May 29, 2009 at Terra SF in San Francisco. In response to the query “What is your passion? Ours is education…” Longoria Parker created a striking love tee.
This autographed design will be auctioned at the event, with all proceeds benefiting Latino education. The designs will also be available for purchase, for a limited time only, through specialty retailers and on-line at palomitaclothing.com.
The Palomita™ Education Fund was founded in 2007 by Molly Robbins, a successful entrepreneur and Mexico City native. It is a non-profit organization that encourages and supports education, professional and leadership development in the Latino community. The objectives of the organization are: to provide scholarships to Latinos planning to enroll in college, encourage participation of the Latino community in higher education, and professional growth and promote a productive and high-quality life.

Eva Longoria has earned almost every physically-fabulous honor that there is in showbiz over the years, including high-rankings in FHM Magazine’s “Sexiest Women” poll to Maxim’s “Hot 100″ to being named one of E!’s “Steamiest Southern Stars” and one of People en Español’s “50 Most Beautiful.” And just this week the “Desperate Housewife” added another notch to her sex-symbol status with the title of TV Guide’s “Sexiest Woman in Television” — so how does her NBA hubby Tony Parker feel about his wife’s sex-symbol status?
“He is so over it, he doesn’t really care,” Longoria said on Tuesday night at TV Guide’s exclusive party to celebrate the “Sexiest Stars 2009″ issue. “He thinks I’m sexiest when I wake up in the morning and you gotta marry the man who thinks that, he doesn’t like the makeup and the gowns.”
The 34-year-old admitted that she was surprised by her top spot, but very excited that audiences still find her character Gabrielle Solis to be sexy “even after the frumpy year she had.” Speaking of “Desperate Housewives” however, headlines have been buzzing about Longoria’s lesbian lip-lock with co-star Teri Hatcher — but apologies to the millions of men out there, it will never happen again.
“Definitely no more kissing girls,” she said sternly, adding that she and her co-stars have literally been sitting on-set waiting for the script of their next scene to hopefully avoid the leaking of any secrets surrounding the last three episodes.
But back to important things like being sexy, how can you look (almost) as hot as Longoria now that the mercury is rising?
“I always get a bikini wax and always spray tan before I go to the beach. It is really key not only because it acts as a sunblock but you look better in a bikini when you’re already tan,” she added.

Eva Longoria has put an end to weeks of rumors that she is pregnant.
“I’m just fat,” she said Tuesday during an interview with Le Grand Journal with husband Tony Parker.
She then burst out laughing while Parker chuckled nervously.
The 33-year-old actress is still taking a stab at motherhood — at work, that is.
On the upcoming season of Desperate Housewives, her character will turn into an exhausted homemaker with two kids.
“Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children,” creator Marc Cherry recently told Us Weekly. “But Eva is having a marvelous time playing her!”
To make Gabrielle look like she has two kids, Longoria has said she ate “everything in sight! Pasta … pizza.
“Tony and I went crazy this summer!” the actress, who also stopped working out, told Entertainment Tonight.
Her other secret for looking heavier? “I have butt pads, I have thigh pads, I have stomach pads!”

Eva Longoria spent her Friday night at Sin City hotspot PURE, but she was with a man that wasn’t husband Tony Parker. We’re told the “Desperate Housewife” entered the bash with Wilder Valderrama and a pack of pals who all joined the Hilton sisters on the VIP stage.
Valderrama toasted to the long weekend with shots of Patron Platinum tequila — although Eva apparently stayed well away from any adult substances. We’re told the actress insisted on only sipping bottled water throughout the evening and was careful not go in any areas that were too crowded.
Earlier in the night Longoria attended the grand opening celebration for Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant & Bar at the Bellagio where she joined the likes of the Hilton sisters, Leonardo DiCaprio as well as Charlie and Brooke Sheen. Again we are told that Longoria insisted on water and would only eat edamame — refusing sushi or anything raw. Hmmm. …
Pregnancy rumors have been buzzing around Longoria for a little while given that she’s been wearing baggy clothes and sporting a (very small) belly, although reports that she’s expecting have been repetitively denied by her rep.
