After Eva Mendes’s first Calvin Klein advertisement was banned from TV for being too raunchy, it appears her latest campaign is trying to push the envelope even further.

The Hitch actress, 35, is covered in body oil as she frolics with Irish model Jamie Dornan, 27, in the risqué new ad for CK underwear.

The latest advertising campaign is yet more proof that fashion houses are pushing boundaries to extremes in order to gain publicity for their products.

In the new promos, a sweaty-looking Eva strips down to lacy lingerie as she pulls at Jamie’s underwear while the couple lie entwined on the floor.

In another shot for Klein’s denim collection, a seemingly naked Eva is given a piggy back by Jamie, who shows off his glistening six pack.

One image shows Jamie’s muscular arms strategically covering Eva’s breasts as she poses topless in a pair of jeans.

The new ads are set to grace U.S. billboards and appears in glossy magazines such as Vanity Fair and GQ from next month.The raunchy black and white ad was shot on location in Palms Springs, California earlier this year by acclaimed photographer Steven Meisel.

Speaking on the shoot, Eva said: ‘I loved shooting with Steven and we had a great time on-set with Jamie.’

Keira Knightley’s ex-boyfriend Jamie was equally enthusiastic: ‘Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear are both such iconic American brands, that to play a part in these campaigns is a true honor.

‘Working alongside the sensationally sexy Eva Mendes on both shoots was incredible.’

One of Eva’s CK ads last year featured the actress lying naked as she writhed around on bed white sheets.

The commercial for Klein’s Secret Obsession perfume featured a brief glimpse of Eva’s nipple and was deemed so raunchy it was banned from U.S. TV networks.

Eva criticised her country for being too conservative: ‘I love my country, but I believe that we are too quick to censor nudity.

‘We seem ok with violence, but nudity we race to criticise and censor. I’m not at all ashamed or frightened about showing my body.’

Despite their ad being banned by censors, CK bosses appeared rather pleased by the controversy.

Tom Murry, president and chief operating officer of Calvin Klein Inc. said: ‘This development is not entirely a surprise for the U.S. market.

‘We believe the commercial is exceptional and hits the mark for Secret Obsession.’

Eva and Jamie’s new ads are in a similar vein to a recent Emporio Armani underwear campaign featuring David and Victoria Beckham.

Eva Mendes is one of the world’s sexiest starlets, so when it comes to the privacy of her own bedroom what is the actress’ ultimate indulgence?

“I have so many guilty pleasures! One of them is to eat in bed while watching television. It sounds kind of gross, but I absolutely love it,” Mendes told us. “I love to watch my favorite program with my food on a tray on my lap. I’ve learned however, that eating Indian may not be such a good thing to have in the bedroom. I’ve made that mistake before, so never again! But I am a huge snacker so you’ll always find me indulging in something.”

It comes as no surprise then that Mendes was recently named Magnum’s Global Pleasure Ambassador and spent last week in Istanbul to launch the world’s largest survey on pleasure. Never before have scientists delved into the science behind what causes pleasure, how to get more of it and triggers it — so the sultry starlet was on hand to add a stroke of sexiness to the scientific summit. The poll, aimed at discovering the human pleasure quotient (through a uniquely prepared test titled the “PQ” test), will survey 100,000 people all over the world and results will be released in a few months. So why does Miss Mendes think she was chosen for the gratifying gig?

“I love chocolate! I like chocolate like no-one else and I love indulging. In fact, I am all about pleasure. I am the girl who will get three massages a week — that’s my luxury and that’s where I spend most of my money,” she admitted. “I’m not a big shopper, but I love facials and spas and everything indulgent when it comes to the body and pampering. I am a girly girl at heart.”

Argh, all that chocolate and she still has a bangin’ body. …

“Oh no! Don’t hate me because seriously, I work out almost everyday — at least five days a week,” Mendes quipped. “I put in a lot of time at the gym to ensure that I am able to indulge at other times. Pleasure is pain.”

Well, sometimes.

But the “Hitch” hottie also offered a wealth of wisdom for women who also want to squeeze some more self-indulgence into their hectic lives.

“I think as women, we’re sometimes told not to ask for certain things, or to constantly put others before ourselves. These are nice characteristics but I think that women should learn to ask for what they want in all areas of their lives more than they currently do,” she explained. “I want to encourage the world to inject more pleasure into their lives and I think especially at this time in the world where it’s all doom and gloom it’s a fantastic time to talk about pleasure and work out how to get more pleasure into our lives.”

And although the 35-year-old starlet has been with her man, producer George Gargurevich, for seven years is there still a tiny bit of hope for the millions of men out there that wouldn’t mind getting to know the glamour gal a little better?

“I think sometimes society can put pressure on women to married at a certain age and to have kids at a certain age, but I think one of the great things about being a true individual is not listening to societal pressures and just to do what you want and not to be afraid to go on your own train,” Mendes added. “Children and marriage is just something that hasn’t interested me.”

That might be just as well seeing as though the Hollywood hottie is still causing a ruckus. Her risqué Calvin Klein ads (which featured her naked in bed) were banned from U.S airwaves last year.

“I don’t know why (it caused such a fuss) though. I thought it would be really fantastic and I was so proud to be the face of Calvin Klein and to be a part of their legacy. I think it was just way too much for the American public,” Mendes said with a smile.

So while it’s that smile that brings a smile too so many others (hence why she was recently named “Most Desirable” by Askmen.com) the actress/ambassador said being recognized for talent instead of appearance would actually give her far more personal pleasure.

It’s very cute and sweet but truthfully, I’d rather be nominated for an Oscar than to be voted number one in the looks department,” she added.

EVA Mendes is so naked and so sexy in an ad for Secret Obsession, the new fragrance from Calvin Klein Inc., that TV networks rejected the spot until it was cleaned up, and still won’t air it until after 9 p.m. The commercial “taps into the secrecy of a private moment – where it’s clear that Eva is having illicit thoughts,” marketer Lori Singer told WWD. The spot’s creative director, Fabien Baron, angrily blamed President Bush for the censorship: “This country really needs a new president. This country is so messed up . . . I really can’t believe this is happening.”

Eva Mendes, who quietly admitted herself into treatment at the Cirque Lodge in Utah in January, admits that she’s still “sensitive on the subject” of substance abuse problems.

The actress snapped at a reporter for Interview magazine who joked that Alcoholics Anonymous would have to be changed to Alcoholics Unanimous because of the prevalence of problems in Hollywood.

“I’m not making jokes, because people die from this stuff,” she says in the interview, which hits newsstands next week. “So, honestly, I think it’s a bit tacky that you made a joke. I’ve got to be honest.”

Mendes, 34, had entered treatment for “personal issues,” her rep said, amid reports of drug use and body issues.

“There are so many lies out there regarding my recent trip to Cirque Lodge,” she says. “But I don’t care what people think. I just don’t care. So I will neither confirm nor deny.

“I’m not a spokesperson for any kind of substance-abuse organization,” she adds.

“I’m proud of people who have the determination and the fearlessness to actually go and face their demons and get better,” she says. “This is a life or death situation.”

Mendes also says being a Cuban-American actress has helped her career – but Hollywood executives are slow to realize that ethnic diversity is “the future” of America.

“We are the future,” she says. “I mean, we’re all just mixing together that much more. We are the future in that sense. I don’t mean Latinos, I just mean ethnic diversity.”

Though Mendes – who stars in the upcoming films The Women (September) and The Spirit (December) – thinks “being a woman in Hollywood is a big enough challenge” because of “the lack of roles,” she says she is often passed over for roles.

“What makes it frustrating is when a director or a studio head doesn’t see me for the same part that they’ll see, let’s say, Drew Barrymore for,” Mendes says.

“Drew’s a great friend of mine,” Mendes adds. “But it’s like, ‘No, we want more of an American type of girl.’ And it’s like, American has opened up. I’m an American girl, born and raised.”

But Mendes doesn’t consider it a challenge and thinks it’s harder for Asian stars: “We have so many Asian girls in this country, and they’re so not represented up on the screen.”
