MADONNA’S ex-husband, Guy Ritchie, reportedly has been dissing the Material Girl (above) behind her back by referring to her as “It.” London’s Sun newspaper quoted a source: “Guy will say, ‘Oh, It’s in a bad mood today.’ ” The British director adopted the nasty nickname even before the couple officially split. “Even towards the end of their marriage, he would call her It. He told people, ‘We can’t make It angry.’ There is absolutely no love lost between them,” the source told the paper. MADONNA’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, shot back to Page Six: “It hasn’t been in a bad mood since the divorce was finalized.”

GUY Ritchie is single again – but he isn’t prowling for women just yet. Ritchie was at a “table full of young model types” at Indochine Wednesday night, but according to our spy, “he was very low-key and kept to himself.” Madonna’s ex and a pal “didn’t pay attention to any of the girls sitting with them.” At other tables at the Lafayette Street eatery were: Lou Reed, Lily Donaldson, Tony Shafrazi and Salman Rushie.

Just as their divorce settlement was making news, Madonna’s ex-husband, Guy Ritchie, appeared to be celebrating his freedom and the holidays with someone new – millionaire heiress Jemima Khan.

The two attended a London dinner party together earlier this month at the home public-relations honcho Matthew Freud and his wife, Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of media mogul Rupert Murdoch, reports London’s Telegraph.

Khan, 33, is the socialite daughter of Lady Annabel Goldsmith (for whom the London nightclub was named) and the late financier Sir James Goldsmith. In 1995, she married Pakistani cricket player (now retired) Imran Khan, and they had two sons, now 12 and 9. The couple divorced in 2004, and she was later attached to actor Hugh Grant, though that relationship has ended, say British newspapers.

Star-Studded Party
Returning to the Freuds’ home for a Christmas party this weekend, Ritchie and Khan joined such other holiday revelers as Stella and Mary McCartney, Lily Allen, Mick Jagger and Kevin Spacey, reports the Mirror.

At that earlier dinner party at the Freuds’ Notting Hill home, says the Telegraph, another of the guests was Trudie Styler, wife of Sting – and the matchmaker who had first introduced Ritchie and Madonna in 1999.

Also in attendance that night, according to the Mail, was Simon Cowell – who apparently also had an eye for Khan.

After weeks apart, an emotional Guy Ritchie was reunited with his sons Rocco and David at a London airport this morning.

The director’s children were back on English soil after being whisked away to the US by Madonna, who is in the throes of her Sticky and Sweet tour.

But as Guy held his two boys close for the first time in weeks, his estranged wife tightened her grip from the other side of the Atlantic.

The Mail has learned that the 50-year-old has issued a list of demands that Ritchie must meet while the children are with him in London. It includes a ban on TV, non-organic food and clothes not sent by her.

Eight-year-old Rocco looked delighted to be back in his father’s company and threw his arms around him after walking through the gates at Gatwick.

Guy also shared a hug with David, three, whom he adopted from Malawi in 2006, later hoisting him on his hip as they made their way through the terminal.

An onlooker says: ‘Rocco shouted, “Dad!” in the loudest voice.’

‘Both he and David were smiling. Guy literally threw his coffee aside to free up his hands and run over. You could tell they were all so excited to see each other.’

The scene couldn’t have been more different for Madonna, who was pictured leaving a LA Kabbalah meeting over the weekend looking tired and gaunt.

Rocco and David have barely seen their father since Guy and Madonna announced their plans for divorce in mid October.

Guy was reportedly reduced to tears after seeing a photo of Rocco at a New York play centre wearing a navy Yankees T-shirt – the baseball team of Madonna’s rumoured new love interest Alex Rodriguez – just days after the split was made public.

He has since kept busy shooting his new film, Sherlock Holmes, in central London by day and drinking at his Mayfair pub, the Punch Bowl, by night.

A custody arrangement for the children remains a sticking point for the estranged couple, who were married for almost eight years.

Last week Guy, 40, hired a top lawyer in his battle with the 50-year-old over where their children should live.

Stephen Cobb, QC, is regarded as the leading specialist in divorce cases in which the country of residence of the children is in dispute.

Madonna is understood to want leave the family’s London base and move back to the U.S.

She also has a daughter, 12-year-old Lourdes, whose father, Carlos Leon, lives in New York.

The singer cannot take the children to live with her permanently in the US unless she either gets permission from Ritchie or an English court grants her leave.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s marriage was plagued by physical and emotional abuse in recent years, friends of the couple reveal in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.

“She would taunt Guy, saying, ‘I should have married someone like me: strong, hot-blooded, intelligent, ambitious, spiritual,’” reveals a Ritchie source. “Their fights would often get heated. A few times Madonna slapped him or poked him.”

His reaction? “Guy called her old, fat, ugly and wrinkled and said that she was stupid and couldn’t sing,” another Madonna pal said.

Meanwhile, a source tells Us Ritchie has already entered a relationship with British actress Kelly Reilly, who is starring in his upcoming drama Sherlock Holmes.

On Oct. 18 – three days after he announced he and Madonna were divorcing – he sent his driver back to his $12 million home in London’s Marylebone district “very last-minute” to pack an overnight bag for a stay at a nearby Chatham hotel — where Reilly is residing.

If you believe Us Weekly, Madonna’s soon-to-be ex has taken up with British actress Kelly Reilly , who’s in his “Sherlock Holmes” (filming now with Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock). Ritchie demanded a divorce earlier this month after Page Six reported Madge and Alex Rodriguez had dinner at Dos Caminos on Third Avenue. The new kabbalah couple are so tight, the Yankee slugger has registered his car and given a photo to managers of Madonna’s Central Park West building, so he can visit at will.

A gaunt looking Madonna was seen leaving the Kabbalah Centre in New York with her wedding ring noticeably absent.

Wearing shades and a baseball cap it seemed the marriage break-up was taking its toll on the 50-year-old mega-star.

Meanwhile the pop queen’s obsession with maintaining a perfect body has been cited as one of the factors behind her split with Guy Ritchie.

Her insistence on sticking to a gruelling four-hour exercise routine has been blamed for destroying the pair’s seven-and-a-half year marriage.

The strict regime reportedly meant the couple went for 18 months without making love.

A close friend told the News of the World: ‘When the cracks began to show in their marriage, Madonna wouldn’t budge.

‘Guy was pleading with her to spend more time with him but she wouldn’t have it. She’d insist she did her four-hour workout and that would be half the day gone.’

hey’ve been apart so much in the last two years the times when they could have made love have been pretty limited.

‘And they’ve been in separate bedrooms a lot after rows so there has been no making-up. They might as well be brother and sister.’

The friend also revealed how Ritchie disliked his wife’s bulging muscles: ‘After a few drinks one evening Guy said it was like cuddling up to a piece of gristle.

‘All the soft feminine tones have been replaced by the build of an athlete.’

Another fighting point in their marriage was Madonna’s devotion to the mystic religion Kabbalah.

Ritchie, 40, is said to have walked out of a marriage counselling meeting with rabbis after they suggested he should always be subordinate to his wife’s wishes.

The source said: ‘Guy thinks it is just mumbo jumbo. He was appalled she wanted the religion to intervene.’

He is said to have become disillusioned with the religion which he had originally embraced to please Madonna.

Film producer Ritchie is said to be resigned to the fact that Madonna will begin openly dating New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.

Sources say the pop star is preparing to go public about her friendship with baseball player A-Rod when her world tour ends in December.

Kabbalah leaders are said to have given their blessing to the friendship after Rodriguez threw himself into the religion.

Madonna also recently sneaked the multi-millionaire into a front row seat at her gig which had previously been reserved for her husband.

An insider told the Sunday Mirror: ‘Alex is bewitched by her. she is a very intoxicating woman and it seems she has offered him a pathway to happiness and enlightenment through Kabbalah.

‘He thinks she is phenomenal, but his friends aren’t sure they have much in common.’

Rodriguez’s wife Cynthia filed for divorce in July this year, citing Madonna as one of his many infidelities.

She is said to have found a letter to Madonna in which Rodriguez’ called her his ‘soulmate’.

Madonna, worth around £300million, has agreed Ritchie will have full access to their sons, eight-year-old Rocco and adopted David Banda, three.

The singer also has a daughter Lourdes, 12, by fitness trainer Carlos Leon.

Ritchie’s £10 million divorce settlement will see him own Ashcombe House, their 1,200 acre £10million estate in Wiltshire, while Madonna will keep the couple’s £7million townhouse in Marylebone in central London.

With a million dollar divorce looming, Madonna couldn’t resist launching a thinly veiled attack on her soon to be ex husband Guy Ritchie as she took to the stage in Boston last night.

Before she sang ‘Miles Away’, which Madonna previously claimed was inspired by Ritchie, she told the audience: ‘This song is for the emotionally retarded. Maybe you know some people who fall into that category. I know I do.’

The swipe was her only acknowledgment during the show of the split, which was confirmed earlier that day by her spokesperson.

The gig at the city’s Banknorth Garden was the 23rd concert of the Sticky & Sweet World Tour, which started in Cardiff in August and is expected to end in December.

Madonna cryptically announced to a New York concert audience on October 6: ‘In exactly 29 moves, the Queen will dump the King.’ She then had 29 more dates on her U.S. tour.

But in the light of yesterday’s announcement, it seems she simply could not wait that long.

The couple are now lining up for what could become the costliest divorce in British legal history.

After weeks of frenzied speculation, Madonna’s U.S. spokesman Liz Rosenberg yesterday released a statement: ‘Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven and a half years of marriage.

‘They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time. A final settlement has not been agreed upon yet.’

Madonna had been sending Guy messages their marriage was over months ago when she began moving some of their art collection, including a Dali and portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte by Jacques-Louis David from their London home to their New York residence.
