The Bush frontman is currently on tour and he admits the worse thing about it being on the road is not waking up next to the No Doubt singer – who he has been married to for nine years – every day.

He said: “It’s painful to be away from her – but who has a life without pain?

“Any guy in a relationship should pinch themselves no matter who they’re with and I am no different with Gwen.
“It would be nice to wake up to Gwen every morning, but I haven’t seen her for a while so I’m waking up next to myself which isn’t as exciting to me.”

The 46-year-old rocker – who has two sons, Kingston, five, and three-year-old Zuma, with his wife – finds it “challenging” to balance work and his personal life, but he knows it’s all part of his role as the head of the family.

Gavin – who released a new Bush album, ‘The Sea of Memories’, this year – exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “It’s tough to be away from her and the kids but it’s inevitable in any walk of life. It’s challenging to balance it. It’s really taxing travelling and being away, but everything I have I’ve made with my own bare hands. I’ve got everything I got from working and it’s worth it for the children.”

It’s not easy being a sexy superstar and a mom at the same time – just ask Gwen Stefani.

The “No Doubt” singer admits she just can’t live the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle with a husband and two kids at home. “Maybe once I sleep through the night, I’ll be able to write a song,” she tells the July issue of Elle magazine. “That’s where I’m at.”

Stefani is preparing for a world tour with the band after five years away from the music business. She tried to create a new album to go with the tour, but her creative juices weren’t flowing.

“Now I’m a wife and a mother of two. It’s a really different role,” Stefani tells the magazine. “My priorities are always going to be my husband and my family now. That’s a huge, huge thing.”

Stefani and hubby, Gavin Rossdale, had their first child, Kingston, in 2006 and their second son, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, in 2008.
“We’re just hoping for the best and that he’s not going to turn out to be a freak, but we’ll see,” she says of Kingston.

Even after a decade of platinum-selling success, Stefani admits being amazed that she enjoys the trappings of stardom. “The fact that any of this has happened … just gets me going, ‘Like, what?’” she says.

Gwen Stefani has finally given the world a glimpse of her 2-month-old son Zuma.

The two visited a library in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

“He’s amazing, he’s very sweet,” pop Gavin Rossdale said of their newborn at Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood bash last week.

“He hangs out,” Rossdale added. “He’s got his neck together. He’s gone through with the floppy stage.”

How is Kingston as an older brother?

“He does a bit. Every day starts with a cuddle for his brother or a slap and then he moves on,” Rossdale told Us.

A slap?

“Not often, every now and again,” he said. “It’s normal, it’s natural.”

Stefani and Rossdale – who recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary – welcomed Zuma this past August.

“Everyone is just so very happy,” Rossdale’s father Douglas told Us after the baby’s birth. “It’s fantastic news, and I’m just so happy.”

It’s a rock band in the making: Gwen Stefani and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their second child, a son, on Thursday in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has learned.

Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale was born at 12:46 p.m. and weighed 8 1/2 lbs. He joins the couple’s other son Kingston, who turned 2 in May.

“Kingston, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale welcomed the newest member of their family,” they say in a statement. “Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy.

Stefani, 38, who is one of four children herself, has spoken openly about her hope for more children. “I’m in a race to have another,” she told InStyle last year before announcing her pregnancy.

The No Doubt singer, also the designer behind the L.A.M.B and Harajuku Lovers fashion lines, told the magazine that Rossdale is “super into being a dad.”

Rossdale, 42, also told PEOPLE that the couple planned to follow friends’ advice and get a gift for Kingston so he didn’t feel left out when his new sibling arrived. “Apparently when the baby comes home, you’ve got to bring a really good present for Kingston,” he said.

Rocker Gavin Rossdale tells Page Six Magazine in this Sunday’s Post of his wife’s notorious fashion sense: “It’s like marrying three different people a week, because you never know who’s going to come out of the bathroom.” But Rossdale doesn’t get too wrapped up in the outrageous looks Stefani’s fans adore her for – “Her five- minute look is my favorite. She looks perfect unmade-up.”

GWEN STEFANI and her husband GAVIN ROSSDALE have thrown a lavish party on Sunday to celebrate their son KINGSTON turning two – with a guestlist including JOEL MADDEN and VICTORIA BECKHAM.

The couple hosted the cowboy-themed event at their Malibu, California home and made it a memorable day by hiring ponies and encouraging attendees to don fancy dress.

Good Charlotte rocker Madden made an appearance without his girlfriend Nicole Richie, bringing along their four-month-old daughter Harlow.
Beckham arrived with her youngest son, three-year-old Cruz – who was dressed in a monkey costume.

Stefani is expecting her second child.

How to top the name Kingston?

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale aren’t sure yet.

“We’ve got a few [names] we’re mulling over, but nothing’s decided yet,” Rossdale, 38, told Usmagazine.com at the Desert Smash Celebrity Pro Am Tennis Tournament in Palm Springs, California, on Tuesday.

“We’re both very excited!” he told Us of expecting a second child (son Kingston — one of Us’ babies of the year — was born in 2006).

Rossdale also weighed in on the ongoing Britney Spears saga.

He said he is glad the singer has reunited with her boys.

“Mothers and children should be together,” Rossdale told Us.
