It looks like we’ll be seeing pictures of Halle Berry’s post-baby body before we see pictures of the baby. Berry and Gabriel Aubry’s baby, Nahla, was born March 16 and has yet to make an appearance in the pages of any celebrity weekly.

One magazine editor said that “photos are being shopped, but nothing’s been settled,” so we’re left to wonder if Berry will bring Nahla to the Halle Berry Celebrity Golf Classic on April 27. At the very least, the actress will be revealing her post-baby body.

According to Us Weekly, Berry wants to be back in fit form for the tournament. “She’s thrilled to start exercising again,” the source added of the star, whose dialed-back pregnancy fitness regimen includes yoga, swimming and light weights.

Still, for Berry, nothing these days tops spending time at home. “Halle loves being a mom,” the source told the magazine. “She is so happy.”

Halle Berry has revealed the name of her newborn daughter: Nahla Ariela Aubry.

The baby girl, who was born Sunday is the first for the Oscar winning actress and her model boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.

A day after Nahla’s birth, Aubry’s sister, Eugenie, told PEOPLE, “It’s been a long time since we’ve had a new baby in the family. It’s very exciting.”

The aunt has spoken – and she’s delighted.

“I was so happy when I found out,” Eugenie Aubry, 36, tells PEOPLE about the new baby girl born on Sunday to Halle Berry and Eugenie’s younger brother, Gabriel Aubry.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve had a new baby in the family,” said Eugenie. “It’s very exciting.”

While she has yet to meet her brand new niece, the Canadian resident was thrilled to hear that new mom Halle has been practicing her language skills.

“I’m a Quebecer, and it’s great that she is learning how to speak French,” Eugenie says. “I’m glad that the little one will speak French, too.”

No doubt, the newborn will have plenty of Quebec cousins to practice with, because mom Halle, 41, and dad Gabriel, 32, try to visit Gabriel’s 64-year-old father, Gérard, and eight brothers and sisters as often as possible.

Another rendezvous is just around the corner, according to Aunt Eugenie – who says the Aubry family is planning a welcome party in Montreal for its newest member.

“We’re going to have a big party for them,” she says. “My father is so happy right now.”

Halle Berry doesn’t just play a mom in movies anymore.

The 41-year-old actress had a baby girl Sunday, and “is doing great,” her publicist Meredith O’Sullivan told People.com, the Web site of People magazine. It is her first child.

The father is 32-year-old model Gabriel Aubry. The two met while shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles two years ago.

Berry told Oprah Winfrey on her show last year that playing a mother in her latest movie, “Things We Lost in the Fire,” helped convince her that motherhood was for her.

“I think it validated that I was meant to be a mother because every day I dealt with the character as a mother and thinking as a mother,” Berry said. “It let me know that I must be a mother.”

Berry won the best-actress Oscar for 2001′s “Monster’s Ball.” She also won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for 1999′s “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.”

Berry had said she and Aubry don’t plan to marry, but feel fully committed to each other.

At age 41, Halle Maria Berry is finally a mother! After an initial scare earlier in the day, Halle gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Sunday morning in Los Angeles.

An insider tells Star, “Halle Berry had a 7lb 4 oz girl at 10:17am Sunday morning, March 16, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The actress had checked into the hospital for the second time that day after feeling contractions earlier Saturday morning.

“Halle had come to the hospital at 4am in the morning because the felt like she was going into labor. It was a bit scary because her blood pressure was skyrocketing and everyone was a little tense. She’s a diabetic so that was complicating matters as well. The doctors checked the fetal heart rate and everything seemed okay. After a while Halle’s blood pressure came down. She wasn’t dilating anymore so at around 2:45pm they let her go home.

“Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11:00pm Saturday night.

“Halle was overcome with emotion when she finally held her little girl. She said everything she had gone through was worth that moment. The tears kept coming as Halle didn’t even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure. It was a truly beautiful scene.”

Halle’s rep could not immediately be contacted for comment.

Coty’s latest celebrity manifesto: Give them Halle.

The beauty giant has signed Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry to a scent development deal, which will involve the star developing a fragrance portfolio and appearing in its advertising.

“Halle is an iconic actress and symbolizes beauty to many generations,” Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing at Coty Beauty US, told WWD at the Personal Care Products Council’s annual meeting here. “She adds another dimension to the celebrity fragrance market. Halle has always been a little more mysterious, not quite as open with her personal life as some other stars. Her fragrances will allow her to present another facet of her personality to her fans.”

The first Berry fragrance products are expected to launch globally in spring 2009, Mormoris said. They will launch in what Coty terms “mid-tier” department stores, such as J.C. Penney, and then will move into the mass market as well. “We’re committed to developing a project that will bring luxury to the mass market,” said Mormoris. “We want to bring vitality to that market, with projects that consumers find compelling.”

Generally, such celebrity deals include $3 million to $5 million up front, with a royalty of about 5 percent, according to industry sources. Mormoris declined to discuss the terms of Berry’s deal.

While star fragrance deals are not being announced at a pace like they were a few years ago, Mormoris emphasized that he does not see a slowdown in the celebrity beauty category.

“It’s clear to us at Coty that the celebrity segment is alive and well,” he said. “It’s constantly being reinvented and refreshed. These fragrances are entertainment, but in a different way.”

Coty’s extensive celebrity portfolio also includes the scent brands of Jennifer Lopez, David and Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kimora Lee Simmons, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Kate Moss and Tim McGraw.

Curly hair, swirly henna hands, curvy belly: Halle Berry has us going in circles!

The 41-year-old Academy Award-winning actress was spotted at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills on Sunday. Sporting Shirley Temple ringlets and a henna tattoo normally reserved for brides (hmmm… might someone be reconsidering her “no more marriage” stance?), Halle looked lovely and well-rounded. Perhaps it’s all in preparation for the “circle of life” she and model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry will experience when Halle gives birth to the couple’s first child, due in March?

“Circular” logic aside, Berry is busy getting ready for baby in other ways. “I have this little teddy bear that I diaper,” she recently told InStyle.
