Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum and husband Seal share a lot in common – including wanting more kids.

“So many people say, ‘I am so done.’ That hasn’t come out of my mouth, and it hasn’t come out of Seal’s mouth either,” the Project Runway host, 35, tells Redbook magazine in its July 2008 issue. “I feel like we still have one coming.”

That would bring the number of their brood to four. The couple already have two children together – Henry, 2, and Johan, 1 (Klum’s daughter Leni, 4, is from a previous relationship, with Formula-One mogul Flavio Briatore.)

But having more children could only be a plus, considering their shared love of family helped Klum realize Seal was the one for her.

“We seemed to know from the get-go,” dishes the German-born supermodel. “Just with everything – the way he is. He’s very gentle and he wants to have a family and we like a lot of the same things. [It's about] looking for someone to get old with and having fun and obviously being physically attractive to each other.”

As for life now, the model mom readily admits it’s “kind of perfect” with the “picket fence and the kids are playing in the garden? It’s kind of like that. The only thing missing is the dog.”

What’s not missing, obviously, is balance. “I have a normal life and I have this glamorous life, but to me it’s two different things. It’s not like I’m this glamour diva who hands everything over and I just sit on my throne at home,” she says. “When we’re home, we’re cooking and doing things with the kids, driving them to school. We do the things that everyone has to do.”

Heidi Klum’s tip for losing that pesky baby weight?

Be realistic.

“I always think, ‘Look at how people were before they were pregnant,’” Klum, 34, says in June’s Marie Claire. “If you were a toned, healthy, energetic person, most likely you will be like that again.”

Klum rocked a bikini two months after welcoming her second child, Henry, in a 2005 Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

“A lot of people come to me, and they’re like, ‘Will I look like you after I have the baby?’” she added. “And I say, ‘Well, how were you before?’” she says. “You can’t kid yourself.”

As a mother of three — Leni, 4; Henry, almost 3; Johan, 18 months — Klum insists fitting into her skinny jeans is no longer a priority.

“I always wanted to be a mom,” says Klum, who was honored as Style Icon of the Year at Us’ Hot Hollywood Awards. “At Thanksgiving, I have my parents there, I have screaming kids, I have a big fat turkey – 18 pounds – sitting in the middle; legs are being ripped off that thing, you know what I mean? There’s life in the house.

“I don’t want to be wondering about how skinny I am, wondering what I’m going to eat because I don’t want to gain and I want to look hot and young, always and forever,” she adds.

Her husband Seal also helps her keep things in perspective.

She met the singer in NYC’s Mercer Hotel in 2003 when she was five weeks pregnant with Leni (her daughter from a previous relationship with businessman Flavio Briatore).

The next year, he popped the question atop a glacier in the Canadian Rockies. (They wed in 2005 in Mexico.)

“He took me by helicopter,” Klum recalls. “He had an igloo built there, and they’d brought up everything: a bed with sheets inside the igloo, rose petals everywhere, candles.

“There was food and champagne,” she goes on. “It was a little scary, too, because you’re so cut off from the world. No trees, nothing … but I was ecstatic.”

A luxury jeweler is suing German supermodel Heidi Klum for allegedly copying a vintage clover jewelry design.

Van Cleef And Arpels is seeking more than $25,000 from the beauty’s company Heidi Klum GmbH and Mouawad USA, another firm Klum has designed jewelry for.

The lawsuit, filed in New York on Friday, December 21st, claims both companies benefitted from the creation and sale of a design similar to Van Cleef And Arpel’s Alhambra jewelry line.

Suits aren’t always flattering, even if you’ve got the body of Heidi Klum.

The German star was served with a lawsuit yesterday by luxury jeweler Van Cleef and Arpels, which claims that the supermodel–turned–TV star–turned–jewelry designer copied their vintage clover design.

The high end design house is suing Klum’s company, GmbH, and Mouawad USA, another brand for which she has created items, for upwards of $25,000 worth of damages. Legal papers claim that the mother of two has profited from Van Cleef’s reputation by producing accessory lines similar to the gem corporation’s clover-themed Alhambra line.

Heidi has called the four-leaf flora her favorite symbol of good fortune. “I hope the pieces are true good-luck charms for the women who wear them,” she said at the unveiling of her finery on home shopping network QVC.

Those clovers might be lucky for all you viewers at home. But as for you, Heidi, well, let’s just say, you might want to start searching for another lucky charm.

Victoria Beckham led the new-look Spice Girls in a rousing comeback performance at the Victoria Secret’s lingerie show in Los Angeles last night.
Kitted out in military-style outfits the girls performed their hit ‘Stop’ as models such as Heidi Klum wearing rather less paraded up and down the catwalk.

The girls put on a show worthy of their Hollywood setting, treating the audience to two glamorous costume changes courtesy of Posh’s designer pal Roberto Cavalli, as they performed two songs including new single ‘Headlines’.

Judging by the applause, the audience – including Enrique Iglesias, Eva Longoria, Hilary and Haylie Duff, Hayden Panettiere, Slash and Jason Statham – loved it, and if anyone noticed that the girls seemed to be lipsyncing they were too polite to mention it.

The host of Simon Cowell’s American Idol show Ryan Seacrest said after the show: “I’m in love with Victoria Beckham, which is probably an issue for David.”

“They could have stood there and done nothing and I’d have been happy,” he said of the group.

“They were fantastic,” said one fan. “It’s like they’ve never been away and they all look simply stunning.”

Did the girls enjoy themselves? “It’s very emotional to be back on stage together, it evokes a lot of memories,” said 31-year-old Emma Bunton.

Nearly a decade after the five-member group became four — when Geri Halliwell left Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham — the Spice Girls reunited for a greatest hits album, released this week, and a world reunion tour, starting in Vancouver on Dec. 2.

Mel C admitted the girls were “nervous”.

She said: “It’s quite surreal, but everything has come flooding back, all of the songs, and being with each other and rehearsing together, it just feels very comfortable.

“We have got nothing to prove. We just want to come back and live out the good old days.”

Mel dismissed rumours of diva-like antics and in-fighting as a “load of c***.”

She said: “We’ve never been divas.

“Our reputation in the business is that we all work very hard and we know that we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for everybody who was involved in our project.”

Earlier this week LA-based Posh posted a new message on the girl group’s official blog giving fans an update on the reunion tour preparations – and a glimpse of how husband David and the boys are coping with her hectic schedule.

Posh wrote: “I’m currently sat in our rehearsal studio and I am about to have another fitting with the Cavalli team for our costumes.

“The other girls will kill me if I give anything away and I don’t want to ruin any surprises… but they look amazing! Roberto and his team have done us proud.

“Rehearsals are going really well, I can’t believe that there are only a few weeks until the first show in Vancouver.

“It’s really scary but exciting at the same time. “David and the boys have been laughing at me because I’ve been wandering around the house listening to my iPod and practising the routines.

“We are including some parts of the old routines but bringing them up to date a bit.

“All of the kids have been down to rehearsals. We have an area where they all hang out… its a Spice creche!

“My boys are so excited about the tour, they can’t wait and I’m really looking forward to them seeing me up on stage. I just hope I don’t get over emotional when I see them!”

Posh went on to plug her cameo appearance on hit US TV show Ugly Betty which airs in the UK later this month.

She said: “Ugly Betty was shown over here in the US on Friday, I had such a laugh filming it. If you’re in the UK then you will be able to see the episode on Channel 4 at 9pm on Friday 23 November.

“Friday is BBC Children In Need day in the UK and we will performing from LA. We will be doing two songs, our new single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) and also Stop – which is going to look fantastic.

“I can’t give too much away but it’s definitely going to be worth watching.”

And in other news, Scary Spice was voted into the final four of the US version of Strictly Come Dancing, and is one of the hot favourites to lift the Mirror Ball trophy.

She is joined in the last four by singer Marie Osmond, actress Jennie Garth and Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves.

Mel, 33, showed she hadn’t lost any of her scary ways when asked what she would do if she didn’t get through.

She jokingly said: “I’m going to beat them all up!”

Besides the spectacle of the reunited Spice Girls, there was plenty to see onstage at the Kodak Theatre, home of the Academy Awards.

The Victoria’s Secret models, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week, sported a series of animal-inspired lingerie looks, as barely there bras and panties were accessorized with plumage, skins and antlers seen usually only in the Serengeti.

In a respite from the overload of skin onstage, singer Seal, outfitted head to toe in glittering silver, crooned, “You’re my angel, you’re my girl,” in a duet with wife Klum that culminated in a lingering kiss at the base of the catwalk.

The Black Eyed Peas’ William Adams, also known as will.i.am, started the show with the fitting rap hook: “Baby, where you get your body from?”.

Adams was a last-minute stand-in for hip-hop star Kanye West whose mother died earlier in the week.

Mother of the Year, she’s not.

But apparently Britney Spears knows a thing or two when it comes to diaper duty.

In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday, Project Runway hostess Heidi Klum said Spears taught her the proper way to put on a diaper.

Klum, 34, got the tips after Spears showed up uninvited to her Halloween bash at L.A.’s Green Door lounge.

“We were talking about babies and diapers and she explained to me a lot of things about diapers I that didn’t know,” Klum told DeGeneres.

“You know these sticky things on the side? I never knew that they were there. To close them in the front, I was always putting string around. I had no idea,” Klum said.

“It’s very clever,” she added. “I learned a lot of things.”

Klum also opened up about her two-year marriage to Seal.

Mentioning how Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman have “Naked Sundays” — a weekly tradition in which they doff their duds — Klum joked, “I might have to copy her and do that. I’ll do ‘Seal and Heidi’s Naked Sunday.’”
