Do you think she gave birth in silence? Do you think Bodhi ate the placenta? Maybe Tom Cruise gave him a recipe for a nice placenta stew.

Actress Jenna Elfman and her husband Bodhi welcomed a baby boy, Story Elias, on July 23 in Los Angeles.

The former Dharma & Greg star is doing fine, while Story – who weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 oz. – is already a fan of “classical music, a clean diaper, mom’s boobs and long naps,” Elfman’s publicist, Jenni Weinman, says in a statement, adding: “Story wants to give big props to his mom for all the hard work.”

Despite her pregnancy, Elfman made time recently to star in a short video on the humor Web site funnyordie.com – in which the pregnant actress schooled several players in a pickup basketball game.

This is the first child for the actress, 35, who played Dharma Finklestein Montgomery on the 1997-2002 ABC comedy and went on to star in the CBS sitcom Courting Alex, and Bodhi, 38, also an actor. The pair have been married since 1995.

Jenna Elfman, who starred in TV’s “Dharma & Greg,” is expecting her first child.

Elfman and her husband, actor Bodhi Elfman, have been married for 16 years and are “elated about the impending birth,” her publicist, Jenni Weinman, said in a statement Friday.

“Jenna looks and feels amazing. She is certain to be one hot mama!” Weinman said.

Elfman, 35, played free-spirited Dharma Finklestein Montgomery in the odd-couple comedy, which ran from 1997-2002 on ABC.

She recently starred in the CBS comedy “Courting Alex.”

Elfman’s screen credits include 2005’s “Touched” and 2000’s “Keeping the Faith.”
