Jude Law ate a raw goat kidney while on safari in Africa because he was afraid to offend his hosts.

The Cold Mountain star and his family were staying with African tribesmen in Tanzania just before Christmas last year when they sacrificed a goat to celebrate the actor’s visit.

He explains, “We spent two nights with the Masai tribe and then went camping.

It was a very special experience. My stepson and my eldest son and I were taken off by the warriors… They sacrificed a goat for us.

“They don’t eat a lot of meat, so when they do, it’s a big deal and they don’t like spilling the blood so they suffocate it. Then they splice the thing up in front of you and they eat the organs.

“I was given a kidney – straight in the mouth. I didn’t want to offend anyone, so I ate it! Actually it wasn’t too bad in all honesty. It was very warm still and really salty.

Jude Law insists his divorce from ex-wife Sadie Frost in 2003 left him broke, and he is still saving up to buy a new house.

The Cold Mountain actor split from Frost after six years of marriage and three children, but the divorce settlement they reached last year crippled him financially, despite a prolific acting career.

He says, “I haven’t got any money. I’m renting my house and I’m trying to save up so I can buy it”.

Jude Law insists he is terrible at spotting potential hit movies, because his critically acclaimed performances have failed to translate into box office success.

The British actor was Oscar nominated for his performance in Cold Mountain, but roles in flops like Alfie and Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow have made Hollywood bosses wary of casting him.

He says, “I haven’t had a hit. They are all films I like but no-one else seems to”.

Jude Law and Sienna Miller have reportedly split for good, blaming “fundamental differences” for the end of their three year relationship.

The pair only reunited earlier this year after splitting in 2005 when Law’s affair with his children’s nanny Daisy Wright was revealed by a national newspaper.

According to friends, the pair decided to end the relationship after a crisis meeting last week.

A source close to the couple tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, “Jude and Sienna decided it was over last week.

“Basically they had fundamental differences in their approaches to life.

“It was a mutual agreement because they both thought the relationship had run it’s course. It’s very sad for both of them.

Jude Law’s ex-wife Sadie Frost was burgled in the early hours of Thursday morning – just a day before her former husband premiered new crime movie Breaking And Entering.

Thieves are believed to have entered Frost’s London home between midnight and 8am on Thursday morning and made off with her Range Rover after finding keys for the vehicle inside the house while she and her children were sleeping.

Law confirmed the theft at the London premiere of his new film yesterday in which the actor plays an architect whose state-of-the-art studios are repeatedly broken into by a local gang of thieves.

The 33-year-old said, “Funnily enough, the mother of my kids was burgled when they were in the house. I was particularly worried because the kids were in the house, and I think that is a very different type of burglar to one that breaks into empty offices and takes computers at night.”

A spokesman for London’s Scotland Yard police said, “Police were called at 9:21am to a report of a theft in Hampstead, (north London). A Range Rover had been taken from outside the address between midnight and 8am.”

Law and Frost divorced in October 2003 after six years of marriage. They have three children together.

English actor Jude Law is finally “happy” with on/off girlfriend Sienna Miller after admitting he “fucked up” when he cheated on her with his former children’s nanny Daisy Wright.

Law slept with Wright in March 2005 – just three months after proposing to his Alfie co-star Miller – and was forced to apologise to the model/actress when the affair was made public in July 2005.

After two splits in July 2005 and January this year, the couple made a third attempt to salvage their romance in May.

The Road To Perdition heart-throb says, “I didn’t want to hurt anyone. I’ve apologised to the people I think matter in that situation. There’s not really an awful lot I can do or say.

“But you can’t run away. You have to take it on the chin and learn somehow to hold you head up high and face up to it. You can’t spend your life apologising.

You can hold you hands up and say, ‘I fucked up.’ You can do everything in your power to make that pain better.
