With Kate Moss’s Topshop line finally hitting New York this spring, New York contributing editor Amy Larocca listens in on a freewheeling conversation between the fashion icon and Topshop head Sir Philip Green, touching on her clothes, wearing bras for the first time, and hosting the Costume Institute Gala at the Met…

Kate Moss: Isn’t this dress great? It’s not like a rip-off designer thing. It’s not a knockoff. When I’m not modeling, I’m in here. I’m working! When I’m not getting booked for modeling anymore, it’ll be like, “Oh, look! She’s here at nine o’clock in the morning!”

Sir Philip Green: Yeah, right. You don’t know there’s two nine o’clocks in the same day! Nine o’clock in the morning …

K: I do, actually! I’ve been very busy.

P: We’re going to try and do lingerie for next season.

K: I’ve got a clear idea of what I want for lingerie. I’ve just started wearing bras. It’s a miracle. Not today, but I have been. Great timing for my lingerie collection. I’ve just grown breasts.

P: Have you? I noticed.

K: I am a woman now! It’s true. No, honestly, I’ve never worn a bra in my life. Ever! It’s so awful, even my friends are phoning me up and saying “Are you pregnant?” And I’m like, “No! I just put on a couple of pounds, and they went in the right place.” Isn’t that weird? And how perfect for lingerie.

P: That’s how it works. You’ve got to be lucky.

K: Now I can fill a B-cup. My friend does say I’ve got horseshoes up my ass. I’m like, What does that mean? It means I’m lucky—I’ve got a horseshoe up my ass

KATE Moss pulled a diva fit during a recent shoot for Roberto Cavalli. Moss arrived at the Los Angeles shoot “two hours late,” said a spy, and in a grumpy mood. “She demanded a beer and then proceeded to finish off beer after beer after beer while she was getting her make-up done. When it was time for the shoot, she sat on the male model’s lap but ignored him – didn’t say one word to anyone – and then, when her pictures were done, walked out.” A rep for Moss didn’t return calls.

ALWAYS the rebel, supermodel Kate Moss was pitching a fit about the bathroom occupancy rules at Milk Studios the other day. “Kate was at the Agent Provocateur event,” said our spy, “and she was trying to get into the bathroom with three friends.” An attendant told the model – who was once caught on video snorting cocaine – there was a strict one person at a time policy. Moss flipped out, saying “But I’m hosting the event,” according to the source. “Kate said, ‘forget it’ and walked away. Twenty minutes later she left with her group, yelling about finding another place.”

Kate Moss

One is a millionaire model. The other the daughter of rock royalty.

But last night model Kate Moss and wannabe rock chick Kelly Osbourne turned 3am partygirls to pair up for a wild night out in London, leaving both clearly the worse for wear after a night which didn’t end until the early hours of this morning.

A dishevelled looking Kate leant heavily on boyfriend Jamie Hince, as she and a worse for wear Kelly left club Punk in Soho last night.

The 34-year-old model, and mother of daughter Lila Grace, 5, exited the club unsteadily with her head hanging down, wearing black shorts and a leather jacket, and opaque tights which appeared to have stains on them.

While a dramatically pale Kelly, the daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and X Factor judge Sharon, clearly needed the support of two pals as she wove her way out to the waiting car.

Clearly Kate’s rumoured new healthy lifestyle has hit a snag. A recent report said the model was embarking on a healthy-eating regime in the hope that it would boost her fertility.

But it appears that she may need some more time to make the adjustment.

Despite both of them looking in desperate need of an early night, Kate and her musician boyfriend Jamie Hince of band The Kills, then moved on to Kelly’s north London flat, where they continued the party until 4am.

Quite what they were celebrating was a mystery, but it had been a long night out for Kelly, who had earlier attended the NME awards.

And like her mother Sharon at the Brit Awards last week, she too was at the centre of controversy after she unleashed a torrent of foulmouthed abuse, directed at awards presenter James Corden.

The 23-year-old was reportedly drinking throughout the show as she shared a table with pal Kimberly Stewart.

And when Corden introduced her to the stage, describing her as ‘the queen of hanging with the bands’, Kelly stunned the crowd by replying: “Go f*** your mother, Mr queen of hanging with the bands”.

She also snapped at the press becoming annoyed with their questions about her pal Amy Winehouse.

Kelly was also furious at Amy’s nomination at the NME awards for Villain of the Year. She said: “I think it’s unfair to knock someone when their down.”

After a marathon session, Kate Moss’ party bandwagon rolled on back to her new home in St John’s Wood around 8am this morning for yet more carousing.

In a clear sign the festivities are still far off letting up, one guest arrived with a bottle of vodka in tow.

Determined to spend an hour celebrating every year she has lived, the supermodel is midway through the mother of all birthday bashes, beginning with champagne at the Dorchester at 2.30pm yesterday.

Moss has spent a staggering £37,000 so far, and the celebrations are still not over.

The party is understood to have commenced around in suites over two floors at the Dorchester costing £20,000 a night.

Moss arrived yesterday afternoon wearing a white fur coat and was joined in the early stages by her five-year-old daughter Lila Grace.

Sir Philip Green, billionaire boss of Topshop, who has employed Moss to design a sell-out fashion range, changed out of his conservative suit into a curious jacket decorated with winged creatures for the occassion.

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and his family, were also at the hotel.

There was no sign of Pete Doherty, her former rock star boyfriend.

Other absentees included Stella McCartney, Sadie Frost as well as her close friend Rhys Ifans and his girlfriend Sienna Miller.

Her closest female friends – Davinia Taylor, Meg Mathews and Kelly Osbourne – were on hand for what has been reported as a “girlie pampering session” involving cream teas and pink champagne.

KATE Moss is trying her hand at the “be your daughter’s best friend and not her mother” thing. The hard-partying model and her rocker boyfriend, Jamie Hince, apparently couldn’t find a baby sitter for her 5-year- old daughter, Lila Grace, on New Year’s Eve, so the couple took her along to the Amanpuri Resort in Phuket, Thailand. “Kate was dancing around with Lila, and they were sipping champagne until well past midnight,” said our spy. “But Kate was definitely being a mom. She was with her daughter the whole time.”

A TALENT booker for LateNet talk show host Ray Ellin got a tongue-lashing when she called an IMG rep for Kate Moss and invited the supermodel to be a guest on the popular Web show, which features a studio audience. “She was appalled that I would even consider the possibility of Kate considering a talk show,” said the booker. “Her rep, Jennifer Ramey, yelled, ‘Everyone in the world knows that Kate never does sit-down interviews. How on earth could you not know?’ ” When Ramey was told the show has had Fran Drescher and Richard Belzer on, Ramey growled, “You will never see Kate Moss interviewed. It is not her thing.” Ramey did not return our call.

Supermodel Kate Moss is pulling out the big guns in an attempt to gag ex Pete Doherty. A source tells PageSix.com that the Babyshambles rocker, who is in negotiations to feature in a Brit TV documentary called Kate & Pete: A Love Story, should expect a call from Kate’s lawyers.
“Kate is furious with Pete over the whole thing. She has contacted her lawyers and plans to get an injunction to stop the production,” the insider says.

Though plans for the documentary on the former couple’s stormy two-year relationship are not finalized, the source tells us it would hit small screens in the U.K. sometime in January.

A network insider revealed, “If Kate does try to gag Pete it will come as a great blow to the production. Hopefully we can work something out with Kate and her lawyers.”

It will also come as a blow to Pete’s bank account. The source says that if the deal goes through it could net the troubled rocker more than a million dollars on worldwide sales.

One million dollars? That’s a lot of fedoras!
