Finally revealed is Katherine Hiegl’s 28th, and most important, dress. Details of Heigl’s December 23 nuptuals to singer Josh Kelley in Park City, Utah, are unearthed in the current issue of OK! Magazine.
The gown, a L’ezu Atelier, was reportedly worth a reasonable $8,000. The fit, however, seems more luxurious than any of Heigl’s best red carpet efforts.
And what about the bridegroom? We’ve got the cover, complete with his scruffy, sublime expression of happiness…

Kelley and Heigl tied a quick knot, the half hour ceremony observed by costars T.R. Knight, Sandra Oh, Justin Chambers and Kate Walsh. For complete coverage of the Emmy Award-Winner’s wedding, click here.

With a light snow falling outside, Katherine Heigl exchanged vows with musician Josh Kelley in scenic Park City, Utah.
The private reception was witnessed by Grey’s Anatomy costars T.R. Knight – who told PEOPLE it was “incredible and beautiful” – and Sandra Oh, as well as Private Practice star Kate Walsh and new husband Alex Young.
Taking place in a small, private tent at the Stein Eriksen Lodge, the nuptuals lasted about 30 minutes in an area decked out in white flowers and white candles. A walkway from the tent to the nearby reception was lined with white candles, illuminating the fresh snow.
The ceremony was officiated by Unitarian minister Tom Goldsmith. Heigl walked down the aisle to an acoustic song written by Kelley and performed by a cello and guitar players. According to a source, the bride and groom wrote their own vows. The bridesmaids wore red.
The two met in 2005 when Heigl, 29, appeared in a video for Kelley’s song “Only You.” Kelley, 27, an Augusta, Ga., native, told PEOPLE in November that he was excited about marrying the actress. “It’s about showing someone you love that you’re actually capable of the ultimate commitment,” he said. “We’re madly in love and she makes me excited to become married and to have a family and spend my life with someone. We’re fairly opposite but we also share a lot of the same values.”
The couple spent the week before their wedding making last minute preparations. On Wednesday, they spent the day running errands in Los Feliz, Calif. and Heigl got her nails done at Fancy Nails. While there, she happily posed for photos before deciding on fire engine red polish for the big day. Afterwards, the two lunched at French bistro Figaro with Heigl’s mom Nancy and Grey’s costar T.R. Knight. On Friday, they met with Rev. Goldsmith at his church in Salt Lake. “Two friends were with them,” says a source. “Katherine and Josh seemed happy and relaxed.”
Guests for the wedding began arriving in Salt Lake on Thursday and prior to the ceremony, Heigl enjoyed a “really feminine and small” bridal shower with 15 friends. A rehearsal took place on Saturday. The actress recently told Vanity Fair that she had no misgivings about marriage. “It’s a crapshoot. The odds are really bad, especially in this town,” the actress says. “But I have a lot of faith in Josh, and I wanted to have that one day when I stand in front of my friends and my family and honor him and how important he is in my life.”

“Grey’s Anatomy†star Katherine Heigl will marry her fiancé, musician Josh Kelley.
“I kind of love it,†Heigl gushed to “Access Hollywood’s†Nancy O’Dell. “It wasn’t my original idea. I originally wanted a more fall wedding back east, but I’ve end up really falling in love with the idea. I think it’s going to be super romantic.â€
The pair will walk down the aisle in Utah and rather than personalizing their vows, Heigl told O’Dell she will keep things classic.
“I really wanted to do traditional (vows),†she said.
“He can sing his vows to you — that would be really romantic, wouldn’t it?†O’Dell asked.
“That would be hot, right? If he got the guitar out?†Heigl laughed.
Though he won’t be singing his vows, Kelley will serenade Heigl at their reception, which follows an intimate ceremony.
“It’s really small,†she said. “I tried to keep it under 100. I just really wanted close friends and family — people that I have a real relationship with to be there.â€
Not all of her “Grey’s†castmates will be at the ceremony, Heigl confirmed.
“Not everybody, because it’s a really hard time of year,†she said. “I actually almost felt bad asking people because I didn’t want anyone to feel pressure to be there but I just really wanted everyone to know they were included.â€
Heigl and Kelley’s winter wedding goes hand in hand with her new romantic comedy, “27 Dresses.â€
Though her bridesmaids in the movie wear some rather tacky ensembles, Heigl went to great effort to ensure her real life bridesmaids had gorgeous gowns.
“I did really want them to be able to wear it again,†Heigl said of the dresses. “(It) is such a cliché. They’ll never wear it again.â€
As for her own gown, Heigl is keeping mum on her dress designer, but the shape will be reminiscent of the Zac Posen stunner she wore to the Emmys.
“I picked a dress that I felt worked best for my body,†she said. “It’s a silhouette. I kind of do all the time… I really love that old Hollywood vibe, so I kind of always stick with that.â€
Once married, it’s a beach honeymoon for Heigl and Kelley, though she can’t say where they’re going, as her rising star has brought about more paparazzi attention lately.
“I’m so sort of not smart about that because I never think that they would actually go there. You know,†she said. “They’re like ‘See you there,’ I’m like ‘What? Please don’t take pictures of me in a bathing suit. Please don’t do that to me.’â€

Katherine Heigl’s husband-to-be is begging the Knocked Up star to quit smoking as a wedding gift to him. Singer-songwriter Josh Kelley will wed Heigl in her native Utah at Christmas, and he hopes she’ll have stopped smoking by then.
A friend of the couple tells Life & Style magazine, “He’s been pushing her to quit for a while but realised he needed to give her a deadline. Josh thinks it’s a nasty habit. Katherine adores Josh and wants to make him happy, so she’s determined to succeed.”

Katherine Heigl is knocking her summer hit Knocked Up for being “a little sexist.
“It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as goofy, fun-loving guys,†the actress — who just turned 29
— tells January’s Vanity Fair.
“It was hard for me to love the movie,†she says, even though the comedy elevated her asking price from $300,000 to $6 million for her next flick.
Heigl also says she’s grown wary of her Grey’s Anatomy character, Izzie, who had a fling with her married pal, George (T.R. Knight).
“It was a ratings ploy,†she says. “I’m trying to figure her out and keep her real.â€
