Now that Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are officially husband and wife the reality show duo is focusing on the next important phase – parenthood.
While Hugh Hefner’s 23-year-old former flame has led a pretty wild life (besides being Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend, the number of times she’s revealed her assets in public is well into the double digits), and said earlier this year that Baskett was helping her find God for the first time, she is determined to be a strict religious mama.
“Our child will definitely be Christian,” Wilkinson said last week, with Basket adding that they are going to be “very strict” yet still “spoil” their young ones at appropriate times.

“But they are going to have to earn it, we’re not just going to hand it to them. Most importantly, they have to keep good grades because school comes first and then everything else after that,” he explained. “Being a father is something I’ve always wanted and something Kendra and I have talked about from the time we met, we’re just truly excited and truly blessed to be becoming parents very soon. We pretty much fell in love right away and when you ask someone to marry you that means you really want them to be the woman in charge of your family, the person to be your teammate in raising the child.”
Although the expecting parents won’t find out until a few weeks what their first born’s gender is, they already have names prepared.
“If it’s a boy Hank the 4th and if it’s a girl Arianna, we love Arianna,” Wilkinson enthused. “I’m feeling so good, I’m in my 2nd trimester now at 14 weeks and I’m feeling like a whole new person, I feel great.”

Kendra & Hank Bankroll On Wedding Photos

Weddings are big sellers for the entertainment weeklies, so US Weekly dropped $120,000 on exclusive rights to Kendra Wilkinson (above) and Hank Baskett’s nuptials in LA last weekend. But Michael Jackson’s death quashed plans to run it on the cover. “They were trying to get out of paying so much because they have to put Michael on the cover,” a source said. “But the documents were already signed.” A rep for US would only say, “The wedding pictures were purchased after Michael died.”

The Girl Next Door has become the blushing bride.
Kendra Wilkinson and her Philadelphia Eagle honey, Hank Baskett, tied the knot Saturday night at the Playboy Mansion, E! News has confirmed.
Paparazzi swarmed outside the gates and security was tight as about 500 guests—including man of the house Hugh Hefner and Wilkinson’s roommates turned bridesmaids, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt—witnessed the duo exchange vows on the mansion’s front lawn, next to the famed wishing well.
“I could not be more delighted,” Hefner told E! “This is one of the happiest days in one of the happiest places on earth.”
But though there had once been talk of Hef doing the honors, Wilkinson’s brother, Colin, was the one to give her away.
“Watching Colin walk Kendra down the aisle was really emotional and beautiful,” the bride’s mom, Patty Wilkinson, said. “She looked breathtaking.”
Baskett popped the question in November after a fairly short courtship, and the betrothed duo happily confirmed to E! News earlier this month that they’re expecting their first child together this winter.
“We don’t officially know, but we keep saying he because we don’t want to say it,” Wilkinson told the Awful Truth this week. “The doctor kind of said he thinks it’s a boy. But we don’t know for sure yet.”
And just because there’s a baby on the way doesn’t mean Kendra isn’t a gal who still likes to have a little fun.
On June 18, her girlfriends treated her to a bridal shower at the Hollywood club Guys and Dolls, where they sipped cocktails (nonalcoholic for the mom-to-be), chowed down on gourmet comfort food and shared tips on love, sex and marriage.
All while clad in lingerie and licking frosting off each other, of course.
Baskett got to have his fun, too. While Wilkinson and her pals indulged in spa treatments on Wednesday, he and his buddies spent the day golfing. Then he and his future missus were guests of honor at a joint bachelor-bachelorette dinner party at MyHouse, a Hollywood bar furnished to look like a swanky private residence.
The couple had their rehearsal dinner Thursday night—a decidedly down-to-earth affair at Dave & Buster’s, a fun-for-all-ages restaurant where everyone from Kendra’s grandma to her Bunny-studded bridal party hit the adjacent arcade.
But the affair tonight was the one to remember, all glitz and glam.
“It was a fairy-tale wedding,” Mary Wilkinson, Kendra’s grandmother, told E!
“Holly cried like a faucet and I held back tears,” said Marquardt before heading off to the reception. “I’m usually the emotional one. The ceremony was short and sweet and bombarded by helicopters. [Kendra's] dress was like a princess and I’m going to catch the bouquet!”
“It was awesome and the craziest reunion,” added Madison, who just last night was in Las Vegas making her debut in the racy revue Peepshow. “Seeing Hef and Mary again was great.”
The newlyweds have kept their honeymoon plans quiet—all Kendra has offered in the way of a hint is that it’s an island where they’re going to “be able to walk around naked.”

Kendra and Hank: We’re Having a Baby!

Kendra Wilkinson is pregnant.
The E! reality star has exclusively confirmed that she and fiancé Hank Baskett are expecting their first child.
“Hank and I are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together,” she just told me. “We are touched by the outpouring of support by our family, friends and fans.”
Wilkinson, 23, and Baskett, 26, announced their engagement last November after the pro footballer popped the question at the top of Seattle’s Space Needle.
What a month for these two! Besides this happy news, the couple’s wedding is set for June 27 at Wilkinson’s former abode, the Playboy Mansion. And Kendra, her new post-Girls Next Door show premiered Sunday, scoring E!’s second-highest rated series debut ever with 2.6 million viewers.
Just last month she told me the couple were already talking babies.
“I plan on having them very soon,” Kendra said. “We want to be young parents and be able to chase around our kids and run and coach our kids. So, very soon.”
She wasn’t kidding!

It’s not hard for Kendra Wilkinson to keep her relationship with fiance, Philadelphia Eagles’ Hank Baskett, interesting. She just uses her new line of stripper poles!
“At first when I told him about the stripper pole, he did not know what it was,” the Girls Next Door star, 23, admits in an interview with E!’s The Daily 10. “He was like, ‘Are you serious? No, you can’t do that.’ He’s a very conservative guy, you know? It’s just a lot of fun. He even gets on it now sometimes.”
Although Wilkinson is surrounded by cameras for her new E! reality show, Kendra — which will follow her engagement and marriage with Baskett — she won’t be getting naked in front of any of them, like she once did for the pages of Playboy.
“Yeah, [Baskett] really gets mad when I do stuff like that,” she says.
Still, she says her beau knows who he is marrying.
“A guy should fall in love with who they met, you know what I’m saying?” Wilkinson says. “And I will — I never change. He knows where I come from, he knows I lived at the mansion for the last five years of my life. I still am wild, but not as wild.”
Her time spent as Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend, however, is hard to forget. She confesses that she got tongue-tied at Hef’s 83rd birthday party this year.
“At the party, I was like ‘Hef, oh s**t, Hank! Oh God!’ Wilkinson says about saying the wrong name. “I felt so bad, and he got so mad at me.”
Wilkinson’s interview with The Daily 10 will air Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. EST on E!.

Coming to a store near you: Kendra Wilkinson’s new line of stripper poles!
“I’m coming out with my own stripper pole. Stripper pole, and stripper pole workout,” The Girls Next Door star, 23, told Usmagazine.com at the American Red Cross Red Tie Affair in Santa Monica Saturday.
“It’s like Carmen Electra’s, but mine is better,” she continued. “Mine will connect to the ceiling, and you can spin on it and do all that stuff on it.”
Wilkinson is busy promoting her new E! reality show, Kendra, which follows her engagement and marriage to Philadelphia Eagles’ beau Hank Baskett.
“It’s been fun,” she said of taping the series, which premieres this summer. “A lot of work, but fun. I’m used to Holly and Bridget, but now it’s just me. My show’s kind of — our show — is kind of like I Love Lucy, but newlyweds. It’s funny.”
How’s wedding planning going?
“Still working on the dress,” Wilkinson — who was worried about looking too “’80s Prom” — told Us. “We’re talking to a really cool florist. He’s making the flowers amazing — 6-foot centerpieces! It’s going to look like a fair-tale wedding. I’m really excited about it.”
Her mom, on the other hand, is “really nervous,” Wilkinson admitted. “She’s more nervous than excited. I don’t think she believes I’m going to get married until the day. I think she doesn’t want to lose me.”
The couple will say “I Do” June 27 at the Playboy mansion.

Kendra Wilkinson Sets Wedding Date!

Kendra Wilkinson and NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett will wed June 27 at the Playboy Mansion.
The Girl Next Door revealed she planned the date around Baskett’s football season with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“He’s going to come out here,” she told Robin Leach at the Las Vegas launch of The Girls Next Door book. “We can’t have a wedding anywhere else because my grandma can’t fly. So I’m waiting for him to come out here and help me plan. I’m ready to just get married.”
“I love football, but I never thought I would marry a football player,” she told Leach’s Las Vegas blog. “We all have our perfect match, I have.”
Meanwhile, it seems Wilkinson, 23, is having second thoughts about whether or not she wants Playboy mogul ex boyfriend Hugh Hefner, 82, to walk her down the aisle.
“I think so, but I don’t know yet…it’s so weird,” she told Leach.
Hefner has admitted he’s been thinking twice about letting his ex Kendra Wilkinson get away.
“There may be a moment at the ceremony when I have second thoughts…may have to negotiate this,” Hefner told E! earlier this month.
(Although he must not be too torn up over losing Wilkinson: “Nothing has been the same” since the “two very lovely twins [Karissa and Kristina Shannon, 19] walked into my life,” he said.)
