Khloe Kardashian’s stay in jail Friday may have been brief, but it did include a bit of drama: a jailhouse lockdown.

The reality TV starlet spent roughly three hours in a Los Angeles area jail for violating probation stemming from a drunk driving arrest last year. Shortly before her arrival, someone called in a bomb threat and the entire facility had to be locked down, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

The threat was not related to Kardashian’s arrival and she was placed in a holding cell for her safety, Whitmore said. The call turned out to be a hoax, he said.

Kardashian is the youngest daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian and is featured on E! Entertainment Television’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reality show.

A judge earlier this month sentenced the 24-year-old to up to 30 days in jail after she admitted violating her probation by failing to enroll in an alcohol education class and clean up roadside trash.

Jail overcrowding forced officials to release her early, just as they have with inmates, including other well-known personalities such as Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan.

“We treated Ms. Kardashian as we would any other inmate with similar charges and circumstances,” Whitmore said.

Kim Kardashian is coming down hard on little sis Khloe for her legal woes leading to a jail term.

“She made a mistake, she has to pay the consequences, and she’s definitely willing to,” Kim, 27, said Wednesday on The Wendy Williams Show.

Khloe, 24, was hit with 30 days in Los Angeles County jail after violating probation for a DUI arrest. She didn’t complete roadside cleanup duty or enroll in an alcohol education class, as had been required.

“It’s a 30-day sentence and you have to do 10 percent, so it’s three days,” Kim explains.

But don’t expect the L.A. social scene to stay quiet without Khloe for long, Kim promises.

“It’s a weekend, so she’ll miss the club for a weekend,” Kim says.

Khloe Kardashian’s next dose of reality will involve the county jail.

The youngest daughter of famed defense attorney Robert Kardashian admitted violating her probation stemming from a 2007 drunken driving arrest during a July 3 court hearing, according to court records.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Kardashian, who’s featured on E! Entertainment Television’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” to surrender to authorities on Friday and serve up to 30 days in jail.

Kardashian will also have to enroll in an alcohol treatment program – one of the terms of probation she failed to complete – within three weeks of her release. She will also remain on probation.

“Khloe is ready and willing to serve out her sentence, no matter how long and where, and have this resolved,” her publicist, Jeff Raymond, told The Associated Press.

It’s unclear how long Kardashian, 23, will remain in jail. Other, more famous celebrities including Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie have served shortened sentences because of jail overcrowding.

Her drunken driving arrest was featured in an episode of the E! series.
