The Dallas Mavericks basketball star and his wife Khloe, Kourtney’s sister, have been desperate for a child of their own since tying the knot in 2009 and Lamar confessed seeing his sister-in-law pregnant has made him realise what he is missing out on.

The sportsman – who has two children, Destiny, 13, and 10-year-old Lamar Jr., from a previous relationship – revealed his heartache in a preview clip of the second series of his reality TV show ‘Khloe and Lamar’.

When asked by Khloe “Were you jealous that Kourtney got pregnant again?” he answered “Yes, they get to have another baby and I don’t.”

Khloe is reportedly seeing fertility experts in a bid to get pregnant and has been researching top specialists in Dallas, Texas, following her and Lamar’s move there late last year from Los Angeles.

A source close to Khloe – who also underwent treatment in her home town of Los Angeles – said: “Khloe has been meeting with fertility doctors in Dallas, and Lamar has been going with her to several appointments. It makes sense for her to have a fertility doctor in Dallas, as well as Los Angeles. Khloe very much wants to have a baby with Lamar, and their inability to get pregnant has had its rough moments, but this has only made their relationship stronger.”

The 32-year-old star – who has two-year-old son Mason with long-term boyfriend Scott Disick – admits she is having trouble with her diet since announcing she was expecting her second child, and is having to eat anything she can “tolerate”.

She said: “I’m just eating whatever I can. Whatever I can tolerate. I think this pregnancy there is less I can tolerate.”

It is currently too early to tell whether Mason’s sibling will be a boy or a girl but she admits she would maybe like to know the sex.

Asked whether she wants to find out what it will be, she said: “I think so.”

Kourtney’s sister Kendall recently admitted she was hoping the baby would be a girl.

She said: “I want [Kourtney] to have a girl. It would be so cute because when they’re older, Mason could be like the protective big brother. And I feel like Kourtney could have fun with a girl-dress her up in little tutus and everything.”

Now it’s going to be even harder to keep up with the Kardashians.

Kim’s sisters Khloe and Kourtney are getting their own reality show.

Kourtney and Khloe in Miami, which debuts August 2009 on E!, follows the girls to south Florida as they open a new Dash boutique.

The girls try to focus on designing and hiring staffers for their new store, but get sucked into South Beach’s famous party scene.

Khloe is also offered an opportunity to host a local late-night radio talk show, which causes fights between her and serious sis Kourtney — who wants her to focus on Dash.

“We knew fans could not miss out on this drama-filled duo as they invade such a beautiful, vibrant and notoriously wild city as Miami,” says E!’s Executive Vice President Lisa Berger.

Plus, expect cameos from mom Kris, stepdad Bruce and Kim.
