The claws are out on “Dancing With the Stars.”

An insider says newcomer Lacey Schwimmer is getting the cold shoulder from veteran hoofers Cheryl Burke and Julianne Hough because they’re jealous she’s been teamed up with Lance Bass. “When Lacey was one of the finalists on the Fox show ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ they were all buddy, buddy. But now they totally ignore her because she has the best partner. They won’t talk to her,” our spy said. An ABC spokeswoman insisted: “I have not heard a negative word. This is a group of professionals.”

Lance Bass Has A New Boy Toy…And He’s Married!

LANCE Bass has found love with a hot trainer, but there’s a catch – the muscle-bound hunk is married. Bass stepped out with personal trainer and aspiring actor Sebastian Leal at a Malibu party recently, confirming rumors that they’re an item. But Page Six has learned that Leal, who is Italian but was born and raised in Brazil, married US citizen Jessica Gannon nine years ago – and never got a divorce. The two separated three years ago, due to what Gannon told us through a rep were “irreconcilable differences.” She added, “We continue to love each other. He was, is and always will be my best friend.” One pal of Bass and Leal told us the news will be no shock to Bass because “Lance and Sebastian are very open with each other and have no secrets.” A rep for Bass, who contacted Leal as well, declined to comment.

The former boy-bander’s two ex-boyfriends, who met through him, have now hooked up with each other. After breaking up with Brazilian model Pedro Andrade, Bass dated hairdresser Ben Thigpen last fall. Last week, Thigpen and Andrade were acting very much like a couple, dancing and holding hands at the joint birthday party of Tenjune owners Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm. They were overheard laughing and saying “scandal” when asked if they were dating.

Lance Bass Is Spreading Germs

LANCE Bass needs to learn some basic hygiene. When the former boy-bander tried to use the bathroom at the Maritime Hotel’s Hiro Lounge the other night, and found it full of folks smoking funny-smelling cigarettes, he threw a fit, relieved himself, and left without washing his hands. “He was banging on the door like a diva, yelling, ‘What the [bleep] are you guys doing in there?’ ” said partygoer Malik Sterling, who saw the squabble. “Finally he just yelled, ‘I just have to pee!’ and he went in.” When Bass was finished, Sterling said, “he wanted to make peace, so he shook everyone’s hand. But he never washed his hands.”

Lance Bass Visits with Britney Spears

After all these years, Lance Bass still remains ‘N Sync with longtime friend Britney Spears.
“I saw her last night,” Bass, 28, told PEOPLE on Thursday at a Los Angeles signing of his new memoir, Out of Sync.
“I went over to the house. It was great,” he said. “I went over to see the kids, and you can tell she’s really trying so hard to get herself back in order.”
Bass writes in his autobiography that Spears, 25, was instrumental in his decision to speak out about his sexuality.
“She was one of the first people that I came out to. We grew up together, basically. She was the first opening act that we had,” he said at the signing, “and she was dating Justin [Timberlake, his bandmate]. We’ll always have that family vibe between us.”
So what does he make of Spears’s ongoing troubles? (Despite strong initial sales of her new album Blackout, she remains embroiled in her messy custody battle with ex Kevin Federline.)
Bass partly perceives her problem as a matter of being a single act as opposed to having been in a group.
Teen superstardom was “easy when you have four of your best friends on tour with you at all times,” he says, recalling his own ‘N Sync days. “If your head gets a little big, you have four guys slapping you and going, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ ”
By contrast, Spears “was by herself. It’s different when you’re a solo act, and you don’t have anyone around you telling you no.”
Bass’s advice to Britney now is simple. “Just be yourself,” he says, “and remember where you came from.”
