It was an action-packed weekend for Lindsay Lohan. On Friday, she hit the AXE Lounge in Southampton with younger brother Michael, downed virgin Shirley Temples and had security guards delete photos that partygoers had taken of her. “She spent most of the time on her phone,” says a source. At the Lower East Side club The Box the following night, a spy tells Page Six, Lohan was behaving “extremely oddly and erratically.” Says our witness: “She came in at 4:30 a.m. and went to a VIP room, where she immediately climbed a stripper pole. A little later, she walked up to a tall, handsome guy and asked him a question. When he said he didn’t know the answer, she lost it and started yelling and cursing and flying around the room. She was not acting normal.” Lohan was again spotted out on Sunday, dancing and singing karaoke. Her rep could not be reached for comment.

Elle magazine says London police are investigating allegations that jewelry was stolen after an Elle fashion shoot featuring actress Lindsay Lohan.

London’s Metropolitan police confirmed that a necklace and earrings worth around $411,316 were missing from a studio in north London in early June.

A police spokesman said no arrests have been made in the case and would not comment on whether Lohan had been interviewed or was even related to the case in any way.

He spoke on condition of anonymity in line with police policy.

The fashion magazine said in a statement Tuesday it had no reason to believe that Lohan was in any way linked to the alleged theft.

Lohan’s spokeswoman did not immediately return a call for comment.

As if it wasn’t bad enough that Lindsay Lohan ruined her own career, she’s now interfering in the careers of others.

Lohan is in Paris, according to multiple sources, talking to the House of Emanuel Ungaro about signing on as a “creative consultant” for the fashion line. But the current head designer of Ungaro, Esteban Cortazar, is not greeting the rehabbed starlet with open arms.

“Esteban is threatening to leave the company if they bring Lindsay on as a consultant,” said a fashion insider. “It has been a revolving door of designers there and if he leaves, his team will go with him.”

Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah signed Colombian-born Cortazar in 2007 at the age of 23. The young designer put his own line — which he’d launched in 2002 — on hold to join the troubled Ungaro house, and received warm reviews for the first Ungaro runway collection he debuted in March of last year.

Meanwhile Lohan, between a series of box-office bombs and highly publicized romances, has dabbled in fashion by designing a line of leggings and launching her own spray tan.

According to our source, “Ungaro thinks Lindsay is going to bring the company new energy and new buzz, but she is going to be the nail in the coffin. Nobody will take them seriously ever again.”

A rep for the House of Ungaro did not return our calls or e-mails. A lawyer for Cortazar had “no comment.”

Meanwhile, Lohan has more big plans while she’s in Europe. Our tipsters tell us the addled actress is planning a stop off in London to meet up with ex-lover Samantha Ronson. “Sam and Lindsay are sort of back together,” said our snitch. “She has been living at Sam’s house in LA.”

A lawyer for Lohan didn’t return calls or e-mails, and Ronson said, “No comment.”

This time for allegedly threatening to kill his fiancée and himself when she tried to dump him. Michael was quietly arrested on April 6 for a phone threat cops said he placed to off-again, on-again gal pal Erin Muller, 34, on March 18. Lohan, 48, flipped out yesterday when he walked into Central Islip court and spotted Post reporter Kieran Crowley and photographer Dennis Clark. “Michael! Plan two!” shouted Lohan’s lawyer, Anthony Grandinette, as his client fled. “Plan two” consisted of Lohan and Muller hiding in her car while Grandinette appeared on his behalf. Lohan faces up to a year behind bars. He couldn’t have picked a better time for the alleged threat, because terms of his parole ended on Feb. 7. He’s due in family court in Westbury today, when he’ll have to explain why he’s behind in child support — by $12,000, sources told The Post.

Lindsay Lohan will topline indie fantasy comedy “The Other Side” alongside Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette.

Story centers on a grad student who must spend the summer working at a scientific institute on a remote island. She discovers an eccentric community of characters who are hiding a secret about a tragedy that took place many years before.

Shooting is set for October at an island off the coast of Massachusetts.

Feature role is Lohan’s first since “I Know Who Killed Me” in 2007, when her career stalled over assertions of unprofessional behavior.

“Lindsay’s very aware of people’s perceptions of her,” director David Michaels told Daily Variety. “She’s really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that.

Producer Kent Harper said Lohan will be insured when lensing starts. She appeared in four episodes of “Ugly Betty” last year and will be seen later this year in the TV movie “Labor Pains.”
“The Other Side” is produced by Baudelaire, Film Star Pictures and Marston, with Jory Weitz (“Napoleon Dynamite”), Harper and Diane Isaacs producing. Michaels co-wrote the script with Phil Reeves.

Michaels will also serve as an exec producer with John Molli, Anthony Yohe and Doug Claybourne (“Nights in Rodanthe,” “North Country”).

Project’s been in development for three years. At one point, Brittany Murphy was attached along with Jason Lee, Ribisi, Jim Broadbent, Tim Roth and Lili Taylor.

The scene that met investigating officers was appalling.

An intruder alarm had summoned police to the Hollywood home of actress Lindsay Lohan, and the thieves who had turned over the apartment clearly had no regard for her possessions.
The apartment looked like it had been ransacked, but closer forensic examination discovered that the mess was actually left by Li-Lo herself.

Officers were called to her home at 3pm yesterday after the alarm was tripped.

There were pry marks on the back door and tampering with the back window.

LAPD’s finest discovered that no-one had entered the house and nothing had been stolen, but officer Karen Rayner said the place was so messy that they had to contact the actress – who is currently in Paris – and ask: “Is it normally like this, or did intruders do it?”

Meanwhile, Lindsay has revealed she is planning to move to London to help get over her split from Sam Ronson.

She hopes a new start here would keep her out of the spotlight.

She said: ‘I like London, people aren’t as judgmental. It’s more about the fashion or music industry, not about movies and movie stars.

‘It’s a different scene. I want to be on my own for a while.

‘I didn’t get into this business to be a celebrity. I’ve been a target for a long time.’

The actress chaperoned her 15-year-old sister, Ali, to Nylon’s Young Hollywood party at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles on Monday but refused to let photographers at the event take shots of her and her sis sitting together. “Lindsay was definitely in party mode, but didn’t want anyone seeing her drink,” a spy said. Elsewhere at the party, heiress Casey Johnson joked to a friend that she and on-again, off-again girlfriend Courtenay Semel have broken up “for like the 50th time.”

Ali Lohan may score a lot of perks thanks to big sis Lindsay – think nights out in Hollywood hotspots, Beverly Hills shopping sprees and the recent trip to Hawaii where the pair wore teensy bikinis and were photographed constantly.

Unfortunately, one thing the 15-year-old starlet isn’t getting from Lindsay is a good role model who’s making positive life choices. Experts say the sibling relationship could actually be harmful to Ali’s mental health.

“If you have an older child who is breaking a lot of the rules and engaging in dangerous and risky behavior, this can have a negative impact on the younger child,” said Dr. Eva Ritvo, psychiatrist and vice chair of psychiatry at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

“Adolescents are trying to break away from their family and they don’t always make the best choices. They’re looking for role models other than their parents, and often turn to peers and older sisters, who can have a very powerful influence on the younger child,” she said.

Impressionable Ali can hardly help but notice Lindsay’s partying, stints in and out of rehab, and her skin-and-bones appearance. But how she reacts to those things could go one of two directions, experts say.

Some teens with out of control older sibs may copy them, while others fall into the role of trying to protect loved ones from the person. “You either try to outdo or you become a caretaker,” says Dr. Keith Ablow, psychiatrist and Fox News contributor, who founded the website www.LivingtheTruth.com.

“The course Ali is taking appears to be more in the direction of copying than in shrinking from the cameras and the revelry,” he said.

Besides the risk of having Ali try to emulate an older sib who’s engaged in some negative behaviors, there’s the danger that she’s not getting enough parental attention because so much of it is focused on Lindsay.

“When you are a sister of the woman the world watches and who is seemingly more heat than light, you can get lost in the attempt to get attention,” Ablow said. “It’s like sibling rivalry on steroids, and to step out of that kind of energy is like stepping out of a tornado and hoping to not get chewed up as you step out of it.”

Psychologist Donna LaMar said that Ali could be helped if a caring adult steps in and offers guidance, support and perspective. That person does not necessarily have to be a relative in order to be effective, she said.

“It could be a teacher or in her case, maybe someone in the business,” LaMar said.

“The person could just say to her, hey what are you doing? What are you searching for and what do you need in your life right now?” What’s important for those close to Ali is to not give up, LaMar said.

“It’s never too late,” she said. “There is always a choice to be made.”

For now, Ali, who was recently spotted holding Lindsay’s hand as they left West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont together, appears to be choosing Lindsay.

She’s in a tough spot, acknowledged Ablow. “Trying to get what you need as a 15-year-old girl can be a tall order when your sister is very famous and very unpredictable,” he said.

“A 15-year-old should not have to be in the role or either caretaker or competitor, but she should be in a comfortable place where she can become an individual, where she can look at the world with security and choose what defines her.”

Lindsay Lohan is such a train wreck these days that Harry Morton is ashamed he dated her three years ago and bought her an engagement ring. The Hard Rock Cafe heir told Inked magazine, “I didn’t really date her . . . I really didn’t.” But then he owned up and said it’s “embarrassing being known for that. I’d like to be known for stuff I’ve created or things I’ve done. I don’t want to be known for that. No way.”
