In the newest issue of Us Weekly, Lindsay Lohan opens up about her heartbreaking split from Samantha Ronson, the “humiliating” weekend showdown with Ronson’s family, and says that friends’ fears she is suicidal are unfounded.

“It’s absolute hell,” Lohan told Us on Monday in a far-ranging interview over several lengthy phone calls and emails where she was both agitated, crying and baffled by the turn of events.

Ronson broke it off with her girlfriend of nearly two years last Friday, and hired five security guards to keep Lohan out of an afterparty for her sister Charlotte at the Chateau Marmont.

“The worst night of my life,” Lohan — who was staying directly one floor above the Ronsons with her mom Dina and sister Ali — tells Us.

The next day, Ronson changed the locks on the Hollywood Hills home she shared with Lohan. On Monday, Ronson’s mom and sister asked police about obtaining a restraining order against Lohan, Beverly Hills Sgt. Nutall confirms to Us.

“I’m not a bad person and this is what happens,” Lohan told Us through tears. “I was raised to treat people well, and I’m so tired of this drama.”

Lohan says she’s “so alone” without Ronson.

“Everyone’s turned on me,” says the actress. She tells the magazine that the night of the Chateau showdown, Nicole Richie walked by her and said “Uck,” and Drea De Matteo said, “Come at me, bitch.”

“I’m a f–king 22-year-old girl who’s in love,” she says. “I felt like I was in Mean Girls, but worse: Mean Girls was a movie.”

Sources tell the magazine Ronson had repeatedly tried to break up with Lohan over the past month, but each time, “Lindsay threatens to kill herself — she cares about her but wants out.”

Lohan laughs upon hearing that, saying she’s okay.

“I’m just really hurt!” she says. “The whole situation is sick.”

She was shunned from the party and locked out of her love nest. Now, Lindsay Lohan exclusively tells E! News that reports of her breakup with Samantha Ronson are true: “We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself.”

The decision was made Monday morning following a rather rough weekend. First, the 22-year-old was barred entry from a Ronson family party on Friday. Then a locksmith was seen paying a house call to Ronson’s abode, where Lohan had resided in recent months.

Still, as of Sunday, insiders insisted the pair had not broken up and blamed the latest drama on Ronson’s family members, who were supposedly engaged in a “smear campaign” to convince the DJ that Lohan was “an outcast and a bully, or a wacko.”

The couple’s tempestuous relationship dates back nearly a year (they reportedly celebrated their anniversary in January) and has survived constant rumors of rifts and splits that often proved false.

In fact, just last week, both Lohan and 31-year-old Ronson were refuting the latest round of breakup speculation.

While Lohan is said to be struggling with the breakup and holding out hope the two will get back together, Ronson seems in a better place, writing on her MySpace page today that “aura in pleasanton is very pleasant.”

As for what’s next for the newly single Lohan? She is logging time with her family in L.A. and, as she recently told E! News, on the hunt for more acting work.

Lindsay Lohan is finally admitting she and Samantha Ronson broke up, which Usmagazine.com reported earlier today.

“We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself,” the 22-year-old tells E! News.

Ronson changed her relationship status to single on MySpace Monday.

On Sunday, the actress told Us reports she’d split from her DJ girlfriend were “not true” — despite multiple sources confirming the opposite.

“This time, Sam means it,” a source told Us Friday.

Samantha had security block Lohan from entering a party for sister Charlotte Ronson Friday night.

Afterwards, Lohan wrote to Samantha on Twitter: “So-you win, you broke my heart. now go away. i loved you”

On Saturday, Ronson had the locks changed on her Hollywood Hills home, where Lohan had been living for the past six months.

The couple dated on and off since May 2008.

Lindsay Lohan may be launching her own spray-tan line this month, but that hasn’t stopped her from using other brands.

The out-of-work actress has employed the services of mobile spray tanner Fake Bake several times over the past few months, according to insiders.
Says a source: “Lindsay tans on the sly, and will have the van come to the house of her girlfriend [Samantha Ronson] instead of her own for discretionary purposes.”

But what about Lindsay’s own line, Sevin Nyne, which will be sold exclusively at Sephora for $35 beginning April 15?

“It was important to me to have a natural product that didn’t have a lot of dyes and chemicals,” the often orange-hued starlet said of her brand. “Our product has a natural golden color … doesn’t streak and smells delicious – not like a typical tanning product.”

When asked about Lohan’s brand loyalty, the actress’ business partner, Kristi Kaylor, told us: “Lindsay only uses Sevin Nyne. As well as perfecting the solution with our lab and choosing the scent, Lindsay named the product, art-directed the visual components and has been involved every step of the way. Lindsay also has her own machine and gallons of Sevin Nyne solution that she uses regularly.”

In addition to tanning troubles, things aren’t going well for Lohan all around. She’s not only having a self-proclaimed problem finding work, a pal says she’s “spiraling out of control. Her weight has dropped to new lows. It’s a strictly liquid diet with very little solid food. She’ll consume anything with caffeine and sugar – at least three Red Bulls a day.

“Her behavior is getting more and more reminiscent of her pre-rehab days, especially with these bursts of outrage at the paparazzi. She’s fighting with Sam on a daily basis and acting out all the time. We’re all scared for her.”

Lohan’s father, Michael, is voicing his concern as well. He recently called her dramatic weight loss “scary,” adding: “It’s torturing me to see her like this.”

Says Lohan’s rep: “Any friend who is speaking on Lindsay’s behalf about personal issues isn’t a friend.”

Reports have been running rampant that a “financially-strapped” Lindsay Lohan has been spending all of Samantha Ronson’s hard-earned dollars, but according to insiders Ronson only earns the big bucks she does because of her romance with the high-profile actress.

Tarts has been told that prior to her relationship with Lohan, Ronson was lucky to earn $5000 a night but since dating the starlet her rate has doubled and even gone up again a little more in recent times. But it gets better — apparently these days it is often written in to Ronson’s contract for certain bookings that if she brings her girlfriend to the gig she pulls around $25,000. So is Lohan the main reason Ronson is who she is and earns what she earns anyway?

“A few years ago it was the same thing with AM, he earned more when he brought (then-girlfriend) Nicole Richie,” said an insider. “But he’s a very talented DJ and has since built a career of his own.”

A rep for Ronson did not respond for comment.

So while Lind’s career in front of the camera may not exactly be running hot right now, the 22-year-old’s business ventures are going strong even despite the depressing economy and her well, occasional wild ways. According to West Hollywood boutique Kitson, her leggings line 6126 has been literally running out the door since its launch in July last year and that is with most consumers not even realizing LiLo is behind the brand.

We’ve also confirmed she’s already designing for the upcoming season — the party princess even gave up her Monday afternoon to give her showroom and buyers at Los Angeles Market Week a sneak peak as she desperately wants to make it big in the business world.

Miss Lohan also just inked an exclusive deal with cosmetics giant Sephora to release a tanning mist “Seven Nyne” which will hit the stores nationwide May 1st.

“Lindsay is determined to be on her best behavior and is working extra hard,” added a source close to the starlet. “She has been told if she steps out of line even a little her deals will be screwed and she obviously doesn’t want that to happen.”

The starlet recently told Nylon magazine she was worried about being out of work but said, “I love doing photo shoots. I mean, if I could just sign with IMG and do ad campaigns and model more, I’d do that . . . because that’s fun for me. That’s not work.” Well, LiLo, Ivan Bart, the senior VP of IMG Models, is willing to give you a shot. “She’s a beautiful girl and obviously knows a lot about fashion,” he told us. “Providing that she was contractually free, we would take a meeting.”

After a whirlwind weekend in the media spotlight in response to a warrant (which was later dropped) being issued for her arrest, Tarts has been told that Lindsay Lohan is seeking professional guidance to put her back on a positive path.

According to an inside source close to the Lohan family, the troubled 22-year-old will temporarily be in a “therapeutic environment” organized by fellow actors, Stephen and Danny Baldwin.

“Lindsay is still able to go to work and meetings and do normal things,” said our insider. “But she wants to remove the negative influences in her life.”

Reformed rehabber himself Daniel Baldwin is devoting a great deal of time and energy into making sure the young starlet doesn’t fall back into her wild ways.

“Lindsay’s doing great, her sobriety is the most important thing to her,” Baldwin told Tarts in an exclusive statement on Wednesday. “She is taking all the necessary measures and actions for her continued health.”

A rep for Lohan confirmed that she is not in rehabilitation but did not respond for any further comment.

Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, declined to elaborate on his daughter’s immediate plans but said Lindsay is committed to improving her quality of life.

“Lindsay will disclose where she is staying and what she is doing when she is ready,” he said, adding that he intends to come to Los Angeles this week to offer his daughter support and guidance.

In January 2007 the “Mean Girl” star was a patient at Malibu’s Promises Treatment facility, in May 2007 she checked herself into West Hollywood’s Wonderland Center, and then in August 2007, she went through the twelve-step program at Utah’s Cirque Lodge.

Just hours after the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed an arrest warrant had been issued for Lindsay Lohan on Friday, the actress was spotted going grocery shopping and partying at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont.

After shopping at Gelson’s supermarket in West Hollywood Friday evening, Lohan, 22, was escorted home by police — but not taken into custody — before she headed out again to Chateau Marmont.

Later in the evening, the actress was spotted at Jack Nicholson’s home, where she stayed until 4:30 a.m. before returning to girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s home.

On Saturday, Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, confirmed to Us that the actress has adhered to the conditions of her probation resulting from a 2007 DUI arrest.

“Since her case was resolved, Ms. Lohan has been in compliance with all the terms and conditions of her probation and all orders of the Court,” Holley said. “The warrant issued on Friday was, in our view, born out of a misunderstanding which I am confident I can clear up next week.”

The Beverly Hills Police Department released the following statement discussing Lohan’s warrant:

“In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued today [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run. The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner.”

In August 2007, Lohan pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine and pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher and reckless driving.

She served 84 minutes in jail in November 2007 and was placed on three years probation and ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol education program.

Attorney: Lohan will not appear in court Monday

A lawyer for Lindsay Lohan says the actress won’t be going to court Monday to respond to a warrant that has been issued for her arrest.

Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley told The Associated Press on Sunday that she will appear in court on Lohan’s behalf.

Holley says the warrant issued Friday by a Beverly Hills court resulted from a “misunderstanding.”

A police spokesman said Saturday the warrant may have been issued in connection with Lohan’s 2007 drunken driving arrest but that no details had been given.

Lohan also was arrested in July 2007 the mother of a former personal assistant told police her car was being chased by an SUV driven by Lohan.

Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail incidents and was sentenced to three years probation.

THERE was an innocent victim in the fight Lindsay Lohan had with girlfriend Samantha Ronson Monday night. Lohan wanted to surprise Ronson, who was deejaying at club Prive at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas – so she grabbed one of her bodyguards, hopped in her Mercedes and rushed from Los Angeles to Sin City to see her perform. Unfortunately, Ronson, who frequently battles with the younger Lohan, wasn’t so happy to see her. They fought and Ronson took off immediately after her set – causing Lohan to flip out and run out of the club screaming, “Did she [bleep]ing leave me?” Lohan then jumped in her car and took off in pursuit of Ronson, leaving her befuddled bodyguard stranded. Our spy said, “The poor guy was last seen on the curb in front of Prive Las Vegas frantically texting on his BlackBerry, trying to find a way back to LA.”
