An insider tells Page Six that Jacobs inked a deal yesterday for a $13 million West Village townhouse on Bethune Street. “Marc and Lorenzo have been looking at downtown properties for a while” and finally settled on the 4,500-square-foot townhouse designed by Robert A.M. Stern. “It includes a private garden and roof terrace,” said our source. Jacobs’ broker, Chris Poore, did not return calls.

The Louis Vuitton designer went to the Angelika the other night to see Woody Allen’s “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” with his latest arm candy, Lorenzo Mar tone, who seemed more subservient than Jacobs’ former boyfriend, rent-boy Jason Preston. “Marc was in charge of him,” our spy smirked of Martone, who carried Jacobs’ man-purse and sat where the runway designer told him to. But Jacobs still seems to be hung up on Preston, who’s now dating Michael Levine – brother of Maroon Five lead singer Adam Levine – and “Marc is jealous of their relationship.” When the couple showed up to Preston’s “Wild & Wild Wednes day” party at Porky’s recently, “Marc was glaring at them,” said our tipster. “Jason and Michael are really in love and Marc is still meddling in his ex’s life.” Levine had no comment; Preston and Jacobs didn’t re turn calls and e-mails.

Of all the beautiful things he’s created, designer Marc Jacobs loves none more than his own body.

Once he was a four-eyed, overweight schlub. Now, after practically living at the gym, he says: “I am a perfect being in a perfect world.”
His personal philosophy came during rehab, he tells Ariel Levy in The New Yorker. “I spend hours in the bathroom now,”he says. “I like shampooing my hair. I like putting on moisturizer. ”

His body-temple does have some graffiti. Jacobs has 28 tattoos — including “Bros before hos”on his arm — and he’s planning more.
“I’m going to get a ‘shameless’ tattoo next,”he says. “That’s what I think everyone should aspire to in life: being shameless.”

Less enthused with Jacobs’ glitzy lifestyle is his new Brazilian boyfriend, Lorenzo Martone, who flipped when it was falsely reported that Jacobs had been caught making out with his ex, Jason Preston, at Pastis.

“I wasn’t even in the city of New York on that Saturday!”Jacobs explained. “I was in Paris, France. My current boyfriend said, ‘You know I don’t believe it, but so many people have asked me about it.’ I was, like, ‘You put me on a plane Friday night. How can you be listening to this?’”

Jacobs told Martone to ignore the gossip and enjoy life in the fab lane, which the designer clearly does despite the rumor mill. Says Vogue editrix Anna Wintour: “I don’t think Marc would be in the press the way he is if he didn’t want to be.”
