Move over, George Clooney.

Looks like Brad Pitt has found a new celeb to heckle: Mel Gibson.

The actor poked fun at Gibson’s 2006 DUI arrest at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards Saturday in L.A.

Just before the show began, Pitt entered the room and sat in a booth off to the side of the stage with Fight Club costar Ed Norton and the film’s director David Fincher.

Gibson opened the show riding in on a horse and wearing a Viking helmet. He then introduced Fight Club, which was inducted into the Guy Hall of Fame.

“Thanks, sugar t***!” Pitt told Gibson as he accepted the honor. (When he was arrested for DUI, Gibson reportedly called a female police officer “sugar t***.”)

Pitt, Norton and Fincher then read all of the bad reviews of Fight Club and cheered at each criticism.

After plugging his upcoming movie, the intentionally misspelled Inglourious Basterds, Pitt told the crowd, “Thank you for the greatest moment of my f****** life!” He stayed on stage for a few more seconds, pumping his fists above his head and egging on the audience to scream.

Before leaving, Pitt posed for photos backstage with Gibson and actress Halle Berry. He then darted out a side door where his car was waiting.

Mel Gibson and his girlfriend, Russian musician Oksana Grigorieva, are expecting a baby, only six weeks after his wife filed for divorce.

The 53-year-old actor confirmed that 39-year-old Grigorieva is pregnant on Monday night’s airing of “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno.

“This is true, we’re having a child,” Gibson said. The baby will be his eighth.

Gibson’s wife Robyn cited irreconcilable differences in her April 13 divorce petition to end their marriage of 28 years.

The 53-year-old Oscar winner has seven children with Robyn but the couple has been separated for almost three years.

Teased by Leno about having so many children, Gibson said, “I guess I’m the Octomel now.”

Mel Gibson looks set to become a father for the eighth time.

According to U.S. reports the 53-year-old actor’s Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, 39, is pregnant with his child.

Oksana, who attended the LA premiere with the star last month, is reported to be in her second trimester.

Gibson’s publicist said he had ‘no comment’ to make on the matter when contacted by Mail Online.

The new comes after Gibson’s estranged wife of 28 years Robyn filed for divorce last month citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.

Just two weeks later Oksana, a pianist and singer, made a surprise appearance with the Braveheart actor at the Wolverine premiere.

Their public outing together came as a shock given the fact Gibson, a devout Catholic, will have to defend his £640million fortune in the upcoming divorce battle.

U.S. website TMZ reported that he has already broken the news to Robyn and their seven children.

Oksana is signed to Gibson’s recording label Icon and previously dated former James Bond star Timothy Dalton. The couple split up two years ago and have a 12-year-old son, Thomas.

In other news, Gibson has one less headache to deal with after settling a multimillion-dollar lawsuit over Passion Of The Christ.

He avoided a potentially embarrassing trial and settled the lawsuit filed by Benedict Fitzgerald, a screenwriter for the film.

Fitzgerald had claimed he was underpaid by Gibson, the director, for the 2004 hit that grossed more than $600million worldwide.

He was seeking a minimum of $10million in compensation.

Fitzgerald’s attorneys claimed Gibson racked up a fortune in personal expenses including education bills for his children and a chiropractor that lowered payments to Fitzgerald.

A judge recently ordered Gibson to answer questions about the film’s finances during a deposition but attorneys for the Oscar-winning director contended that Gibson did not know the intricacies of the film’s budget.

The parties have now agreed to a settlement ‘in principal,’ according to a three-page document filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The filing asked a judge to cancel a trial scheduled for June 3 but terms of the deal remain confidential.

A settlement has been reached in a screenwriter’s lawsuit against Mel Gibson over “The Passion of the Christ.”

A notice of settlement filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court stated that an agreement had been reached and was being put into writing. The filing asked a judge to cancel a trial scheduled for June 3.

Benedict Fitzgerald sued Gibson and several film companies for $10 million in February 2008, claiming that Gibson and others vastly understated the budget for the 2004 blockbuster. The screenwriter’s suit claimed Gibson told him the budget for the movie would be in the $4 million to $7 million range, but that it was significantly higher.

Fitzgerald also claimed that Gibson told him he would not receive any money from the film, but considered it a gift of his faith.

His attorneys also claimed Gibson spent tens of thousands of dollars on his children’s education while filming in Italy and paid a chiropractor $78,000. They contended those expenses lowered payments to Fitzgerald.

Several of the lawsuit’s claims had been thrown out and in recent hearings, attorneys for Gibson said the actual amount in dispute was significantly lower.

No details of the settlement were filed.

Phone messages left for attorneys for Gibson and Fitzgerald were not immediately returned Monday.

Both sides battled over the film’s finances for months. A judge last year ordered Gibson to answer questions about the film’s planning and finances during a deposition.

Attorneys for the actor and Academy Award-winning director contended that Gibson did not know the intricacies of the film’s budget.

We’ve learned Mel Gibson’s girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, is pregnant with his child.

Our sources say Gibson has already told his estranged wife, Robyn, and their children about the news. We’re told Oksana is in her second trimester.

Robyn filed for divorce on April 13.

By the way, Oksana is living in a house Mel got for her. And guess what else? Until recently, Oksana was living in a house purchased by songwriter/producer David Foster, with whom she also had a relationship.

Days after Mel Gibson’s wife of 28 years, Robyn, filed for divorce, a 24-year-old Russian pop singer has come forth, claiming that she had a romantic relationship with the 53-year-old actor and has now fallen in love.

In a new interview in Britain’s The Sun, Oksana Pochepa also confirms that she is the mystery brunette photographed kissing Gibson on a Costa Rican beach in March.

“This is serious and I hope that our union will be real and strong and long-lasting,” she told the paper Tuesday.

Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands today) that the two met last August when Pochepa was hired to compose a song for Gibson’s upcoming thriller Edge of Darkness.

A source on the Massachusetts set tells Us that the pair – who would spend entire days alone together in his trailer – always tried to be discreet about their relationship.

“They would come out and attempt to walk around separately, but then at the end of the day, they both returned to the same hotel,” the on-set source tells Us. “She was there on and off for a week, but it was clear she had no business there other than to be with Mel.”

Fueling more rumors? They met up in January in Mexico City, where Gibson directed a music video for Pochepa.

“Mel’s team brought all of their own people,” Alejandro Alvarez of Estudios Churubusco tells Us of the shoot.

Last Thursday Mel Gibson’s wife of over 28 years, Robyn Moore, filed for divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences. Gibson is believed to be worth around $900 million and the couple did not have a prenuptial agreement. Robyn is seeking spousal support, joint custody of their child Tom (the only minor of their 7 children together) and attorney fees.

But the actor filed a response on Monday morning with claims that he and his wife have been separated since August of 2006 following Gibson’s DUI arrest. Reports surfaced in November last year that Gibson was in relationship with a 28-year-old Russian singer named Oksana while filming the Edge of Reason and he has since been pap-snapped in a passionate embrace in Costa Rica with the songstress.

“Mel hasn’t been cheating, he and Robyn haven’t been together for a long time,” said an inside source, adding that they have remained friends throughout the separation and tried on numerous occasions to work through their differences.

But Oksana isn’t the only young hottie Gibson has been cavorting with on the sands of Costa Rica recently. Last year he took then-trainwreck Britney Spears away, and Tarts has been told that the two meet on regular occasions, but it is all a friends-only affair. Oddly enough, Gibson’s wife has hired the same divorce attorney, Laura Wasser, that the pop princess used (Wasser also worked for Angelina Jolie) while Gibson is being represented by Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson’s divorce lawyer, Robert Kaufman.

Under California law, assets and finances are split 50/50 thus it is believed that Gibson is clearly establishing the date of separation (which was left as TBA on the initial divorce papers) so that every penny he has made since then will be his private property.

In the papers, the Braveheart star also requests that the court terminate the rights for either party to receive spousal support as well as asking that Moore pay her own attorney fees.

According to People.com, on Easter Sunday Gibson confided in the parishioners at the Agoura Hills Holy Family Catholic Church that his wife had filed for divorce. Thus the question remains: will the traditionalist Catholic be able to remain director of the church that he spent his own $5.1 million building? Gibson and his soon-to-be ex-wife are listed in federal tax records as directors of the secluded church.

“The church is against divorce. When someone gets married, they’re married for life. They will grant annulments in certain situations after evaluating the validity of the marriage,” said Rev. Patrick O’Dwyer of the St. Maximillian Kolbe Church in Oak Park, Calif. “They do not look down upon anyone in the religion and if someone is going through a divorce, the church will do all they can to help.”

Mind you, Tarts called at least a dozen churches for comment but nobody “felt comfortable” commenting on Gibson’s situation – but it doesn’t sound as though some at the Corpus Christi Church in NYC enjoyed Passion of the Christ.

“We couldn’t care less, not a fan of Mel Gibson,” said the spokesperson before slamming down the phone. Ouch.

Longtime media specialist and Hollywood publicist Michael Levine also felt strongly that the divorce could greatly impact Gibson’s fan base.

“A lot of his credibility came from his religious connection,” Levine said. “I think this will certainly damage his credibility with his conservative audience.”

Mel Gibson’s wife of 28 years has filed for divorce, setting the stage for one of the most expensive marriage break-ups in legal history.

Under Californian law, Robyn Gibson could take half of her husband’s £640million fortune.

She lodged papers in Los Angeles Superior Court weeks after Gibson was pictured frolicking on a beach in Costa Rica with an unidentified brunette.

The Oscar-winning actor, 53, is said to have become close to a Russian brunette on the set of his most recent film, but denies he has had an affair with the woman, a musician known simply as Oksana.

The court papers filed by 52-year-old Mrs Gibson cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split.

She also listed the separation date as ‘to be determined’, while Gibson named August 26 2006 – a month after his controversial drink driving arrest – as the date in his divorce petition.

The couple released a joint statement last night: ‘Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so.’

The couple have seven children, six of whom are grown up. Mrs Gibson is seeking joint custody of the youngest, Tom, who is ten this week.

The former nurse and Gibson are not understood to have a prenuptial agreement.

Despite the irreconcilable differences cited by Mrs Gibson, many in Hollywood believe the real reason behind the split is her husband’s close relationship with Oksana.

She is one of the artists on the Australian-born actor’s recording label Icon and has been in the U.S. recording an album.

Gibson denies that she is anything more than a colleague, but the pair have been snapped coming out of his trailer on the set of The Edge of Darkness, which is due for release this year.

Gibson, a staunch Roman Catholic, was one of the highest-paid and most popular actors in the world in the 1990s, winning best director and best picture Oscars for his 1995 film Braveheart.

He has adopted a lower public profile since his controversial 2004 hit movie The Passion of the Christ and his 2006 arrest for drink-driving in Malibu, when he launched into an alcohol-fuelled tirade against Jews.

Not long before his arrest he was photographed partying with female admirers.

‘The incident definitely took a toll on his marriage,’ an acquaintance of the actor told the Daily Mail last night.

‘Robyn was humiliated by the fallout from that incident, as was his entire family. Mel never thought there was anything inappropriate about his relationships with other women.

‘In his mind, it was perfectly natural to have female friends – even if they were beautiful and often far younger than him. It was something his wife needed to deal with as far as he was concerned.’

Mrs Gibson is being represented in the divorce by the lawyer Laura Wasser, whose previous clients include Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Keifer Sutherland.

An almighty fight is now on the cards over what is perhaps the largest fortune of any Hollywood actor.

Gibson was ranked No 1 on the Forbes celebrity rich list in 2004 and has his own film production company.

Mel Gibson’s wife of 28 years filed for divorce Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.

Robyn Gibson filed the petition, which offers no details of the breakup, in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The couple have seven children, but only one under 18. Robyn Gibson has requested joint custody of their son who turns 10 on Tuesday.

Details of how the couple’s assets will be divided were not spelled out in the court filings. Robyn Gibson is seeking jewelry and earnings and assets she accrued after the couple separated, and a share of the money and assets Gibson, 53, has earned during his nearly three decades as a Hollywood hitmaker.

She wants the actor-director to pay spousal support and her attorney’s fees.

The Gibsons released a joint statement Monday, seeking privacy.

“Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so,” the statement read.

The couple were married in June 1980, court records show.

“Mad Max” in 1979 brought Gibson his first international attention, closely followed by the critically acclaimed “Gallipoli” and the Mad Max sequel “The Road Warrior.”

Gibson has since gone on to make a mix of crowd-pleasing shoot-’em-ups such as the “Lethal Weapon” franchise, and has established himself as a director. 1995′s “Braveheart” earned Gibson two Oscars for best picture and best director.

He also produced and directed the surprise blockbusters “The Passion of the Christ” and “Apocalypto,” which broke box-office records for foreign language films in its opening weekend in several countries.

His divorce was first reported by celebrity gossip site TMZ, which made a splash for its reporting of the actor’s anti-Semitic slurs uttered during a drunken driving arrest in 2006.

Gibson pleaded no contest to the charge later that year and was given three years’ probation.

Since then, he has hosted Britney Spears at his home in Costa Rica, and continued his acting career. He stars in “Edge of Darkness,” scheduled for release later this year.
