NICK Lachey and his girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo, don’t really do anything beyond getting paid to show up at events or frolic at tropical resorts that need free press – so you’d think they’d appreciate their easy-money lifestyles. Wrong! According to a source at JC Penney’s “American Living” launch at Skylight on Hudson Street, “Nick was complaining the whole time he was there. He started whining, ‘When can I get out of here?’ and refusing to take photos. That’s what he was paid to show up for.” A rep for Lachey told us, “Nick stayed and watched the entire Rascal Flatts performance at the event and had a great time.”
