Hellraising rockers Shane MacGowan and Pete Doherty have posed nude together for a photoshoot.
The pair were tempted out of their clothes by celebrity snapper Mario Testino.
The Pogues rocker MacGowan reveals, “I had my photograph taken with Mr Doherty recently. It was by Mario Testino.
“Nothing particularly unusual, except he asked us to be naked together, which was pretty unexpected. What’s more unexpected is that we obliged.”
British rocker Pete Doherty smiled and hugged fans outside court on Monday after a judge ruled he will not serve jail time for possession of drugs including heroine and crack cocaine. District Judge Jane McIvor ordered the 27-year-old Babyshambles singer to pay $1,525 in fines and court costs and forbade him from driving for four months.
“I feel relieved,” Doherty told reporters outside Thames Magistrate Court in London.
The singer from east London was arrested in April in possession of under two grams each of heroin, cannabis and cocaine just three hours after he was sentenced to two years of community service for previous drug offenses. The drugs were found in the vehicle he was in and at his home.
Doherty was arrested again on Aug. 7 with a crack pipe and small amount of crack cocaine, and pleaded guilty on Aug. 18 to all five counts.
“He’s not going to jail. It’s amazing,” said 16-year-old fan Georgina Raymond, who jumped up and down screaming into her cell phone, “I hugged him!”
In September, McIvor told Doherty he would not serve jail time for the charges if he continued rehabilitation, stayed employed and did not commit any other offenses. She also complimented his song, “The Blinding.” Doherty did not break any of the restrictions the judge imposed.
“Hitting your pocket is the way of punishing you in this case,” McIvor said Monday. Doherty has been in and out of court on drug charges and spent time at the Priory rehabilitation clinic.
In November, Doherty, the on-off boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, was fined $1,485 for assaulting British Broadcasting Corp. reporter Trudi Barber outside the same court.
His drug habit gained international attention after a British tabloid printed pictures of Moss allegedly using cocaine at a music studio where Doherty and his band were recording. Moss was not charged.
Troubled rocker Pete Doherty, 27, was busted (and we think we can say this without adding the word “again” again) over the weekend, this time for alleged possession of crack cocaine, CNN reports, proving that there is at least one thing for which he can be depended on.
It’s at least the fifth time the singer has been held for some combination of reckless driving and possession of naughty substances, to say nothing of the bloody brawl he got into with a photographer last month that left him looking like “massive headwound Harry” from that old SNL skit.
This time, cops spotted Kate Moss’ boyfriend driving erratically near his home in East London, pulled over the Jaguar and arrested Doherty and two buddies.
They’ve all been released on bail pending analysis of “substances recovered,” according to a Scotland Yard spokesperson, and will have to report back in December –conveniently enough when Pete was already due for sentencing on five drug charges he pleaded guilty to back in August (two birds, one stoned, and all that).

Pete Doherty ties knot with Gio-Goi fashion
Pete Doherty, a bad-boy rocker and rumoured fiancée of top model Kate Moss, has tied the knot with trendy Manchester label Gio-Goi to help design a range of their clothes.
The agreement, announced on Saturday, comes after Moss landed herself a deal to design a collection for high street fashion chain Topshop.
The 27-year-old Babyshambles frontman, who is struggling to overcome his drug addiction and who has been in trouble with the law, will wear the brand’s exclusive designs at a planned gig in a secret London location before Christmas.
Gio-Goi, which dresses members of the music industry such as The Streets, Arctic Monkeys or the Paddingtons, in a statement called Doherty the inspiration behind its rock ‘n roll spring/summer 2007 collection.
“Peter looks fantastic as a model,” Gio-Goi co-founder Anthony Donnelly told Reuters. “We are very excited … we look forward to having Pete’s influence as a rock icon in the design process.”
Gio-Goi was a cult fashion label and a big hit in the electronic music scene in the 1990s dressing rockers like The Rolling Stones, Happy Mondays, Oasis, New Order, and Primal Scream. It was re-launched in 2005.
Supermodel KATE MOSS is reportedly expecting a baby with her rocker partner PETE DOHERTY, according to the BABYSHAMBLES frontman’s uncle. PHIL MICHELS claims the former LIBERTINES star broke the news during a phonecall from Italy on Friday (20OCT06), with Moss expected to make an official announcement in the next few weeks. Michels says Moss has had a scan, and the couple are delighted by the news – and plan to wed as soon as possible. He says, “I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has confirmed that Kate is pregnant. They are both delighted and Pete sounded really excited. “That is why they want to get married. Pete told me they want a baby together to cement their marriage. I am made up for them. They’re so happy, they love each other. “I can’t wait for the wedding – we are just waiting for a date.”

The band Babyshambles has postponed the remainder of its British tour to give frontman Pete Doherty more time to undergo drug rehabilitation treatment, his record company said Saturday.
Babyshambles postponed its five remaining dates to allow Doherty’s “excellent” efforts at overcoming his addiction to continue, EMI said.
Last month Doherty, in court on drugs charges, avoided jail after a judge said she was “impressed” with his attempts to beat his addiction.
The singer had pleaded guilty to five counts on possessing heroin, cocaine and cannabis. He was allowed to continue his drug treatment and told he would be sentenced in December.
The EMI announcement canceled concerts in Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle.
“The band apologizes to fans but hopes that they will understand the importance of Peter being able to best continue his good progress in recovering from addiction,” EMI said. “The dates will be rearranged for as soon as possible and all tickets will remain valid.”
