Pop punk PINK was forced to move out of her marital home when she split from husband CAREY HART, because the house contained too many memories for the star.

The So What singer parted ways with motocross racer Hart earlier this year and she struggled to come to terms with the end of their relationship.

So she moved to the beach and decided to overcome her heartbreak by confronting one of her life-long fears – sharks.

But she soon found herself running back to her old house to relive the happy days of their marriage.

She says, “When my husband left I walked out of our house, shut the door and moved away. I couldn’t live there any more.

“I bought a house on the beach and forced myself to go in the water every day – I’ve always had this total terror of sharks. I had to give myself a big challenge to focus on.

“Then a few months later I was in a recording studio across town. It was late, I had to be back in the studio early and it was a long drive to the beach. I thought I’d go to my old home, just to sleep. I turned up but I didn’t actually have a key, so I crawled into the house through a dog flap. It felt so weird…

“Of course I didn’t go to sleep. I went straight to the wedding-album photos and looked through them crying and sobbing. I was there for an hour, then I just jumped up and ran out. Haven’t been back since.”

On her current radio smash “So What,” P!nk gets real once again but this time it’s infused with her trademark humor as evidenced by such funny-honest lyrics as “I guess I just lost my husband/I don’t know where he went/So I’m gonna drink my money/I’m not gonna pay his rent.” Having her ex, Carey Hart, in the Dave Meyers-directed video diffused some of the reaction to the lyrical content. “At first I was kind of irked because everyone was like, ‘Well, wait. I thought the split was amicable and now she’s talking shit about him?! What the @#$%’ It’s hypocritical.’ But once everyone saw the video and saw that Carey was in it, it shut everybody up, which was lovely,” explains P!nk, who collaborated with Max Martin once again for this track. “Carey hadn’t heard the song before he did the video. That’s how much he trusts and loves me. He pretty much just rolls his eyes, throws his hands up in the air, and hugs me. He gets it. He gets me. It’s nice.”

Pop star Pink has reportedly turned to Scientology to help her move on after her split from husband Carey Hart.

The pair’s two-year marriage ended earlier this year, and friends reveal the singer has sought comfort from pal Juliette Lewis, who is introducing her to the controversial religion, which is popular with superstars such as Beck, Lisa Marie Presley, Tom Cruise and John Travolta.

A source tells Star magazine, “Pink is in the beginning stages of checking out the religion, but she has taken to it and she wants to get more involved.”
