Lea Michele has revealed Ricky Martin is shooting a cameo in ‘Glee’ and has been a lot of “fun”.

The actress – who plays Rachel Berry – has returned to work after the holidays along with the rest of her castmates to start filming the next episodes of the musical TV drama and they have been joined by the ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’ singer.

The 40-year-old pop star is shooting a cameo in the series, and so far he has proved very popular with Lea and the other ‘Glee’ regulars.

She wrote in a series of posts on twitter: “Back at work! Starting our next episode with my old friend Ricky Martin!
“Having so much fun on set with Ricky! He’s seriously the sweetest and such a great fit for our show!”

Lea, 25, also revealed she first worked with Ricky in a stage production of ‘Les Miserables’ 16 years ago.

In another tweet, she wrote: “I’ve known Ricky since I’m 8 years old! He was in Les Mis on Broadway with me in 1996! Crazy huh?!”

‘Glee’ is renowned for attracting big name stars onto the show, including Gwyneth Paltrow – who played substitute teacher Holly Holliday in multiple episodes – and Britney Spears, who appeared as herself.

Celebs flocked to Miami once again for the Winter Music Conference but Ricky Martin wasn’t living “La Vida Loca.”

The Latin crooner saw red after one raucous female fan wouldn’t leave him alone at the South Beach hotspot Mansion, where the new dad was on hand with several male friends.

“This girl kept going over and asking him to ‘Shake your bon bon!’ and screaming in his face,” our spy shared. Ignoring her for a little, Martin finally had enough. “He snapped back, ‘That’s really not cool.

Please don’t embarrass me like this,’ ” says our source. Martin, who then moved his entire entourage to the other side of the club to escape her, eventually did start shaking it and then continued to dance until 3 a.m.

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon overtook Cabana One Lounge in Coconut Grove on Saturday night, where the pop star proved that just because she’s buying everything for a nursery, she’s not ready for the baby quite yet.

“Mariah was drinking glasses of red wine with a straw,” laughed our onlooker. “When she and Nick left at 2 a.m., Mariah took a glass of wine down in the elevator with her.”

Cannon was deejaying at Ron Berkowitz’s rooftop club that night and kept playing Carey’s songs. But once “Fantasy” came on, the diva couldn’t help but grab the mic herself. “Mariah started singing along to her own song,” a reveler told us. “She eventually got everyone in the crowd to sing with her.”

Meet Matteo and Valentino Martin!

Born via surrogate in early August, Ricky Martin’s 4-month-old twin boys make their debut in this week’s issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday.

A joyful Martin, 36, spoke candidly with PEOPLE at home in Puerto Rico about his desire to be a parent, the decision to seek the help of a surrogate and juggling caring for twins – he has no nanny!

PEOPLE: Describe this time in your life
MARTIN: I’m so happy! Everything they do, from smiling to crying, feels like a blessing. Being a father feels amazing. This has been the most spiritual moment in my life.

How hands-on are you as a father?
I don’t have a nanny. I’m doing this on my own because I don’t want to miss a moment. I have a personal assistant who helps me, someone who takes care of me while I’m taking care of them, but I’m the one who changes the diapers, the one that feeds them, the one that bathes them, the one that puts them to sleep. For any parent, the first couple of months tend to get a little bit intense.

Why did you choose to become a parent via surrogate?
Adoption was one option, but it’s complicated and can take a long time. Surrogacy was an intriguing and faster option. I thought, ‘I’m going to jump into this with no fear.’

Tell us about Valetino’s and Matteo’s personalities.
Valentino loves to sleep. I call him ‘Mr. Peace and Love’ because he’s so chill and serene. Matteo is more alert and active. He was up at 3 a.m. the other night and just hanging!

What is your philosophy on raising your sons?
I love to read books to my sons and tell them stories. I play music for them so they develop their own personalities. I want to give them information and raise them with honesty and love, and give them self-esteem and a lot of acceptance.

RICKY MARTIN’s baby news hasn’t been well received by everyone – one leading Latino Catholic cardinal has slammed the pop star for acting without dignity.

The Puerto Rican singer recently fathered twin boys, born to a surrogate mother, who is rumoured to be a cousin of the singer.

And, following on from congratulations from his pop peers, those who aren’t happy about Martin’s new paternal role are speaking out now.
The cardinal of Honduras, Oscar Andres Rodriguez, accuses the singer of going against human dignity.

On a visit to Chile, the Catholic leader said, “What Martin did diminishes the dignity of a human being. You can’t just buy or rent life. It’s even worse when someone famous and in the public eye is doing it.”

And he isn’t alone – Mexican talk show host Esteban Arce has also spoken out against Martin.

On his show Matutino Express, Arce said, “I don’t think it’s right to deny children of maternal figures, just because you have a big ego.”

Ricky Martin is a father to twin boys born via a surrogate, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“In recent weeks, Ricky Martin became a proud father by the birth of twin sons,” his rep tells PEOPLE.

“The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care,” the rep said in a statement. “Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children.”

The boys’ names and the location of their birth have not been released.

The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer, 36, is a longtime supporter of children’s causes around the globe through his Ricky Martin Foundation.

Latin heartthrob RICKY MARTIN is facing fresh speculation over his sexuality after his good friend and skin care specialist OLE HENRIKSEN ‘outed’ the star in a recent magazine interview. Henriksen was being interviewed by gay Swedish magazine Salonk when he made the comment about Livin’ La Vida Loca’s sexual preference. He’s quoted as saying, “He (Martin) is a bit more open about it (his homosexuality) these days than he used to be… I don’t know if he has a boyfriend.” And when asked who he’d choose to spend a romantic holiday with, Henriksen replied, “I’d go for Stig Tofting (ex Danish soccer player), but since he’s straight, I’d say my client Ricky Martin.”
