Ryan Phillippe is single and on the prowl. Reese Witherspoon‘s soon-to-be ex was out drinking with buddy Joseph Gordon-Levitt last Thursday at the Chateau Marmont in L.A. and, according to our spy, got a little rowdy. “He was really obnoxious,” we’re told. “He started screaming at these girls, ‘Hey, you’re hot! Get over here!’ The girls just ignored him.” Phillippe and Gordon-Levitt tried their luck with several other women before leaving for the more fertile grounds of Teddy’s. Phillippe’s rep didn’t return calls.

Reese Witherspoon has officially filed for divorce from Ryan Phillippe, asking the court for joint legal custody of the couple’s daughters.
The actress is also asking the judge to block attempts by her estranged husband to get spousal support, and she is seeking “exclusive use of the family residence.”
In the legal documents, obtained by news website Tmz.com, Witherspoon lists the date of separation as October 30th, and cites “irreconcilable differences” for the split.
Phillippe Speaks Out After Infidelity Rumours
Meanwhile Ryan Phillippe has spoken out following his shock split from wife Reese Witherspoon last week, declaring he’s “not guilty of a lot of things” he has been accused of.
Witherspoon, 30, and Phillippe, 32, announced they were splitting after seven years of marriage and two children together on October 30th.
Following the announcement, tabloids began to speculate Phillippe had cheated on his Oscar winning wife with his Stop Loss co-star Abbie Cornish, which the Australian actress has vigorously denied.

Audiences may have seen a whole lot of Abbie Cornish in the first five minutes of her new movie, “Candy,” co-starring Heath Ledger – but filmgoers Claire Danes, Ron Howard, Lydia Hearst and Carson Kressley never had the chance to congratulate the up-and-coming actress. Cornish was a no-show at her own screening, hosted by the Cinema Society and Cole Haan, held a week after reports surfaced that she broke up Hollywood’s golden couple, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe. And while Cornish was staying away from the scene at the Tribeca Grand, that kind of shyness is a big change from the past, according to one source, who said Cornish and Phillipe flaunted their relationship on the set of “Stop Loss.” “He took her to the movies, they went to dinner, everything in public,” said our spy. The usually reserved Ledger provided his own star power at the screening, where he showed up without financée Michelle Williams and their baby Matilda.

Ryan Phillippe’s cruel intentions to cheat on wife Reese Witherspoon brought an end to their glam Hollywood marriage, Us magazine reports. The “Flags of Our Fathers” star couldn’t resist his seven-year itch when he brazenly played around in public with 24-year-old Aussie actress Abbie Cornish. “Ryan admitted it was true and said, ‘We need to just end this.’ Reese literally had no choice,” an anonymous source told Us. Reps for Phillippe, 32, and Oscar winner Witherspoon, 30, announced Monday they’re splitting up after seven years of matrimony. Their reps could not be reached for comment last night. Phillippe and Cornish allegedly grew close in Austin, Texas, on and off the set of their indie flick, “Stop Loss.” Other sources have pointed to a different castmate. “We’re a little bit devastated and heartbroken,” mom Susan Phillippe said. The National Enquirer says the final straw came two weeks ago, hours after the New York premiere of “Flags,” when Witherspoon found incriminating e-mails on her hubby’s BlackBerry.

“We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate,” the couple’s rep said in a statement released to TMZ on Monday. “They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time.
Sources tell TMZ that Witherspoon has contacted celebrity divorce lawyer Robert Kaufman, who has represented Jennifer Aniston, Roseanne Barr and Lisa Marie Presley.
The couple of seven years have two children, Ava, 7, and Deacon, 3.
No one specific event is said to have triggered the split. A source tells TMZ that the decision to separate was “cumulative.†The couple have admitted to attending marriage counseling in the past.
“We’re still trying to figure out the mystery of marriage,” Witherspoon told In Style magazine in 2004. “It isn’t one happy joy-ride, and I so admire couples who’ve been together forever. Ryan and I were practically babies when we met, and then we were having babies. But we’ve matured a lot. I’ve become less judgmental and more understanding. He helps me find the good in people and the best parts of myself, and we’ve really discovered balance.”
Divorce papers have not yet been filed.
Phillippe is currently receiving acclaim for his role in the Clint Eastwood film Flags of Our Fathers. Witherspoon, who won the best actress Oscar for her performance in 2005′s Walk the Line, will next be seen in Penelope, alongside Christina Ricci.

Ryan Phillippe has attributed his Golden Globe exuberance earlier this year to being “plastered.” The actor memorably jumped up and down, yelled and pumped his fists in the air when wife Reese Witherspoon picked up the Best Actress award.
But a red-faced Phillippe admits he had so much to drink with Hollywood legend Shirley MacLaine during the ceremony he barely remembers his antics.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Phillippe says, “Shirley MacLaine and I drank like crazy, just putting away bottles of wine and making fun of everyone. I was plastered!”
