Sacha Baron Cohen strips down as his naked alter ego – the flamboyantly gay Austrian fashionista Bruno – for the July cover of GQ magazine.

He sports a tanned glow and a shaggy head of highlighted hair, and is artfully posed.

The actor-comedian’s 2006 movie, “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan,” was a surprise box-office hit.

His new film, “Bruno,” is scheduled for release July 10.

Baron Cohen staged an elaborate prank at the recent MTV Movie Awards. In character as Bruno, he descended from the ceiling on a wire in a fake mishap that ended with his bare hindquarters in rapper Eminem’s face. Eminem stormed off in a huff, but later said he was in on the joke.

But now Sacha Baron Cohen’s comedy alter ego Bruno has outdone himself – scoring the front cover of fashion bible Marie Claire.

In doing so the fake Austrian fashion critic follows in the footsteps of Naomi Campbell, someone he takes to task in his A-Z of fashion must haves.

‘She’s amazing – 20 years in ze business und all the pressure und fame hasn’t changed her a bit. She’s remained a total b****.’

Naomi isn’t the only one to feel Bruno’s claws. Madonna, Pink and Amy Winehouse are all ridiculed in the interview.

Bruno is the brainchild of Ali G and Borat creator Sacha, and features in a mockumentary due out next month.

On Pink he reveals: ‘Just vatching him now on MTV. A great singer und so hunky.’

Winehouse is ‘… not too skinny, in fact, for ein junkie she is actually zehr fat.’

And as for Madonna, he claims L is for ‘Little black child… thanks to Madonna… it’s zis season’s vardrobe essential.’

It’s all enough to make a supermodel tuck into a big bar of chocolate.

And Bruno even takes time to crack jokes about his ‘countrymen’ Adolf Hitler and Josef Fritzl.

He says A is for Austria, where people are raised to ‘try und achieve ze Austrian dream – find a job, get a dungeon und raise a family in it.’

And K is for ‘Kampf, mein… ze fashion bible written by Austria’s black sheep Adolf Hitler. It literally translates as ‘My Flamboyance’.

In an accompanying fashion shoot Bruno recreates a Versace advert in a silver leather jumpsuit, along with model Alessandra Ambrosio.

He shows off his unique sense of style in hot pants and leopard print, but at least he leaves Borat’s mankini at home.

On Sunday night Bruno made an astonishing entrance at the MTV Movie Awards – dropping into the room from a wire and landing head first in Eminem’s lap. The rapper appeared to storm out in protest – although this was later revealed to be a rehearsed stunt.

And last year he gatecrashed Paris and Milan fashion weeks, climbing onto the catwalks – where he persuaded a designer to say the unfashionable should be sent to concentration camps to be taught how to dress.

Like Baron Cohen’s hit film Borat, Bruno takes the style of a faux documentary, with the comedian putting unsuspecting interviewees through a string of awkward situations.

Those caught out this time are rumoured to include Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ben Affleck.

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen was taken to a police station yesterday after he brought chaos to the Milan fashion show for the second day running.

Despite the increased security after he evaded guards and burst backstage to changing rooms he again managed to get in.

Cohen, best known for his bizarre character Borat, caused havoc after storming the catwalk during the Agata Luiz della Prada show.

Dressed in a velcro suit he was bundled away by security guards and taken to a nearby police station where he was formally identified.

A police officer at Milan Sempione police station said: ‘A British national by the name of Sacha Baron Cohen was brought here and identified.

‘He did not have any ID documents on him so someone was sent to his hotel when he got here to fetch his passport.

‘He was actually very funny and the first thing he said was ‘Can I make a phone call’ like they do on TV.’

Cohen was released without charge and was last night still thought to be in Milan.

Earlier this week scantily clad models screamed and security guards dived on him when he burst into a show by Italian designer Iceberg.

TV footage screened on Italian TV showed Cohen dressed as his creation Bruno a flamboyant Austrian fashionista.

Cohen is in Milan working on a new film called Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male.

The movie is being shot in the same documentary style as 2006′s smash hit Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

Wearing fake passes, Cohen and his film crew managed to get past security to the backstage area of Italian label Iceberg’s show.

The footage showed an actor dressed in head-to-toe velcro and wearing a blonde wig running about, screaming and hurling himself at the clothes racks.

Iceberg’s flustered stylist, Paolo Gerani, managed to stop the man and have the crew removed.

Fashion houses have since tightened up security, and Baron Cohen and his crew were blocked while attempting to enter the Dsquared.

Sacha Baron Cohen and fiancee Isla Fisher have been forced to postpone their wedding over religious issues, MailOnline has learned.

The Hollywood-based couple, who welcomed a daughter last year, originally planned to tie the knot later this summer.

But they have decided to delay the nuptials because Isla, 32, has yet to convert to the Ali G star’s faith of Judaism.

A source said: ‘Isla was supposed to spend her time after giving birth hard at work on her Torah studies, and that’s gone far slower than expected.

‘It’s very much frustrated her future in-laws, especially Sacha’s parents, who were really hoping for a wedding this summer.’

The source added: ‘Right now there’s no wedding date set because Isla hasn’t fully converted yet, and even though she’s working at it part-time, she’s far from being close to completing her studies.’

Isla, who has spent most of this summer filming her upcoming project Confessions Of A Shopaholic, is said to have a tense relationship with Sacha’s mother, Daniella.

The source said: ‘What made relations difficult between Isla and Sacha’s mother is that she really wanted Isla to spend more time with the baby and their family in England instead of being hasty and returning to work so quickly.

‘Now that Isla’s done shooting, she’s in the awkward position of making up for lost time.’

To this end, the Australian-born actress, who found fame in Home And Away in the Nineties, is spending increasing amounts of time with her in-laws in Britain, in an apparent effort to endear herself to them.

Meanwhile the notoriously reclusive Baron Cohen, 36, is patiently playing peacemaker between his wife and mother.

Instead of wedding preparations, he has channelled his energies into work, chalking up long hours on his new reality-based film Bruno, which has nearly completed filming and will be released worldwide next summer.

The source said: ‘Sacha is not as worried about the relationship between his parents and Isla as everyone else is because he’s extremely devoted to her and their child.

‘He also believes that putting too much pressure on Isla is only going to make the wedding happen later rather than sooner.

‘He is happy taking his time to get married the same way he was happy having a long engagement.

‘But in the meantime Isla’s had to endure a lot of awkward moments with Sacha’s mother, who just doesn’t seem to understand her future daughter-in-law’s drive to become a big star.’

or Isla’s part, the actress is said to be looking forward to becoming a Cohen.

The source said: ‘No matter what Sacha’s mother throws at her, Isla isn’t going to be scared away from the relationship or the family.

‘You really get the sense that her devotion to Sacha is total, even if she’s stalled a little bit on her Jewish studies. She loves sharing her life with this guy.’

Everyone’s favorite Kazakh journalist Borat has been killed and his biggest mourner is his creator (and murderer) Sacha Baron Cohen.

“It’s upsetting,” Sacha confessed to the U.K.’s Telegraph.

“When I was being Ali G. and Borat I was in character sometimes 14 hours a day and I came to love them, so admitting I am never going to play them again is quite a sad thing.

“It is like saying goodbye to a loved one. It is hard, and the problem with success, although it’s fantastic, is that every new person who sees the Borat movie is one less person I ‘get’ with Borat again, so it’s a kind of self-defeating form, really.”

The comedic actor granted a rare interview as himself to promote his latest role in Sweeney Todd where in addition to talking about auditioning for the blockbuster, he opened up about fame, lawsuits and why he refuses to talk about his private life.

On auditioning for the role of Pirelli, the flamboyant singing barber who is killed off by his rival, Johnny Depp’s Todd:
“When I was at Cambridge University, I played Tevye in Fiddler On the Roof and that was the only thing I remembered, so I went in and sang “If I were A Rich Man” for [Stephen] Sondheim… That wasn’t enough so I had to sing about five other songs and luckily Sondheim thought they were OK, but there is one incredibly high note at the end of my piece and [director] Tim Burton doesn’t know this, but when I went in to record the sound I couldn’t reach it, even wearing spandex, so I brought in a very fat female opera singer to sing the final note.”

On being sued:
“Since last year I’ve been sued by about 3,000 people. Some of the letters I get are quite unusual, like the one where the lawyer informed me I’m about to be sued for $100,000 and at the end says, ‘P.S. Loved the movie.Can you sign a poster for my son Jeremy?’”

On winning a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical:
“It broke me out from being just a pure comedian into something larger, because in the entertainment business people are categorized either as comedians or actors. The award let people know there was a performance behind Borat, because the problem was that when I used to do Ali G. and Borat, people assumed that I was them and there was no acting involved.”

On fiancee Isla Fisher and their newborn daughter, Olive:
“I try and keep that part of my life separate from the professional part because I don’t think it helps people appreciate the work or the comedy or make me any funnier if they know what’s going on at home.”

Sacha Baron Cohen has a thing for showing off his privates. Well, what appear to be his privates, that is.

We’ve already been subjected to Borat dressed in that barely there fluorescent-green banana-hammock bathing suit. Now comes his hilarious turn as Signor Adolfo Pirelli opposite Johnny Depp in Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd.

There’s no missing Pirelli’s package. “Oh, that was the real thing,” Sweeney Todd’s two-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood told me the other day with a giggle, but quickly admitting, “Yeah, we augmented.”

No surprise, it was Cohen’s idea to enlarge his manhood for the flick. Cohen’s body-hugging pants were stuffed with “a little quilted thing.”

Well, not so little. But Atwood said she hopes it comes off somewhat authentic. “We tried different materials and different sizes and positions,” Atwood said with a laugh. “You kind of forget what you’re doing, and you’re just sort of looking at what looks the best. I like if a lot of people think it’s real.”

Meanwhile, Atwood didn’t have to worry about such accessories for Depp and his other costars. Her biggest worry was all the fake blood everyone was splattered with. Atwood ended up making 25 shirts, eight pairs of paints and seven waistcoats for Depp. “The big thing was where was [the blood] going and how are going to get it off,” Atwood said. “It’s sort of sticky, so it’s the kind of stuff you want to get off quickly, but Tim and everybody got it down to such an art that we didn’t have thousands of takes. It went really well considering how challenging it was.”

Atwood has worked on more than 50 films, many with Burton and Jonathan Demme. Next up are the movie adaptation of the Broadway musical Nine and Public Enemies, Depp’s Depression-era gangster flick with director Michael Mann.

Even with such a large body of work, Atwood says she still has at least one dream project. “I’ve always wanted to do a vampire movie,” she said.

Perhaps she should give Mr. Burton a call. Sounds like the perfect job for him, too.
