Eminem “Laughed” After MTV-Bruno Stunt

Eminem says last weekend’s MTV Movie Awards stunt was Sacha Baron Cohen’s idea.
“Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the movie awards,” he tells RapRadar.com. “I’m a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag.”
During Sunday night’s show, the rapper ended up with Cohen — dressed up as his flamboyant character, Bruno — landing face-down in his lap. After the showdown, viewers questioned whether it was staged. (A show writer admitted it was on Tuesday.)
“I’m thrilled we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it,” Eminem says. “It had so many people going ‘nuts’ so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it.
“After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about three hours,” he goes on. “Especially after I saw it on air.”
Eminem also denied reports that a thief broke into his hotel room during the Sunday awards ceremony and swiped $60,000 and a laptop.
“The only thing was that I lost a Nike watch that we were looking for,
he says. “The rest it is made up — like half the other stuff out there.”

Even a make-believe psychic couldn’t spot the scam when an actor disrupted a scene for “Medium” involving Patricia Arquette, who stars as psychic Allison DuBois in the NBC drama.
After the unruly extra was ejected by security, the truth became clear: He was chameleonic comic prankster Sacha Baron Cohen in his identity as outrageous fashion reporter Bruno.
It was unclear how Cohen gained entry to the set, and whether he was secretly filming his performance for his own use, according to Entertainment Weekly’s Web site, which first reported the incident on http://www.EW.com . But prior to the Nov. 7 invasion in Los Angeles, Cohen had been shooting other “crash” footage for his new film, a followup to his comedy hit “Borat.”

Sacha Baron Cohen got his biggest laughs in “Borat” when he ambushed everyday people. But Cohen isn’t above hiring actors when reality just isn’t funny enough. And that includes porn actors.
Cohen turned to a couple of pros for a sex scene in his forthcoming “Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male,” in which he plays a flamboyant Austrian fashion journalist.
Looking for actors who were willing to do full-frontal nudity, Cohen and director Dan Mazer called on David Forest, the go-to guy for gay adult stars.
“We auditioned about 10 actors,” says Forest. They finally settled on triple-X stars Paul Barba (usually billed as “Tony Capucci”) and John Martel (known to fans as “Tyler Saint”). Cohen summoned Barba and Martel to the Aramano Hotel in Burbank.
“There’s a scene where Bruno comes to the hotel with some guys,” Forest tells us. “They’re all trying to get Bruno to come upstairs for an orgy. Five guys are there. Two of them are my guys. Bruno apparently doesn’t want to join the party, but he watches through the window. I’m told it’s hilarious.”
This isn’t the first time Cohen has turned to Forest, who provided Borat with his “son” – a porn star known as Stonie, who’s seen naked in photos with his “dad.”
Forest, who used to run one of the top Hollywood escort services, now gets so many calls from mainstream movie productions that his new agency, ForestCasting, is focusing on providing talent for scenes that less liberated actors won’t do.
“No more triple-X for me,” says Forest. “We’ve got our eye on the mainstream.”

Sacha Baron Cohen’s fiancee Isla Fisher will go to bed with Borat, but refuses to sleep with gay Austrian fashion reporter Bruno.
The Wedding Crashers actress was prepared to put up with Cohen staying in character as the controversial Kazakhstani TV reporter while he shot his hit film, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
However, she is not prepared to afford him the same luxury when he starts work on his Bruno movie.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: “Isla grudgingly endured months of living, and sleeping, with Borat when Sacha was making the movie as he had to stay in character while he was filming.
“But now he plans to make a Bruno movie she says she absolutely won’t let him stay in character 24 hours a day.
“She has issued him with an ultimatum no Bruno in the bedroom or no sex until the film is finished.”
After winning his Best Actor prize at the recent Golden Globe Awards, Cohen dedicated his triumph to Fisher because “she agreed to sleep with Borat for ten months”.
Borat Lawsuit ‘too Vague’

Romanian villagers who filed a lawsuit against the makers of new movie Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan have been told their allegations are too vague.
New York Judge Loretta Preska has insisted the suit must contain specific factual evidence of the villagers being misled before it can be pursued any further.
Lawyers last month filed the $30 million case against 20th Century Fox on behalf of Nicolae Todorache and Spiridom Ciorebea, residents of Glod, Romania.
The pair allege residents of the town, who were used as stand-ins for Kazakh nationals, were duped into appearing in the film and paid just $4 for participating.
However, 20th Century Fox attorney Slade Metcalf denied the allegations, insisting any papers relating to the villagers should not be released for scrutiny, so that opposition lawyers can search for a breach of contract.
Metcalf also rejected claims villagers had been bribed by the movie’s representatives to keep quiet.
Borat Hit With Further Legal Trouble

British funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen is facing further legal woes after a US woman who featured in his latest movie claims she was misled.
Cindy Streit, who owns an etiquette business, filed a complaint on Thursday with California Attorney General Bill Lockyer, requesting an investigation into possible violations of the California Unfair Trade Practices Act.
Streit was approached by a representative from a Los Angeles-based company called Springland Films wishing to arrange an etiquette session for an “international guest from Belarus Television”, which later featured in Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan.
Streit said she arranged both a sit-down session with Borat, played by Cohen, and a dinner party with some of her friends. Clips of both meetings appear in the movie, including an embarrassing toilet incident.
She recalls, “I had taught him to excuse himself. He did that correctly and went upstairs. The next thing that happened is that he came down the stairs holding this plastic bag with whatever was in it.
“My horror was that he had brought a bag of feces to my dinner table”.
