With a brand new book in the works, a brand new business and a brand new baby onboard, this season will be action-packed. The family that plays–and works–together stays together, and this season Tori, Dean, Liam and Stella show viewers again what a family living and working in Hollywood is all about. With a new store opening–an antique furniture and lifestyle store aptly named “invenTORI”–a book deal, dual acting careers and a third baby on the way, Tori and Dean once again prove that they can do it all, even under the spotlight of Hollywood. As always, Tori and Dean’s close circle of friends come along for the ride. This season, viewers will get to experience the touching moment when Bill and Scout (the “Guncles”) welcome their new baby girl, Simone, to the family. Tori is also busy playing matchmaker as she tries to find love for her best friend Mehran. Additionally, the family would not be complete without the return of beloved baby nurse, Patsy!

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott created “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” and executive produce the series along with Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato of World of Wonder Productions. Richard Courtney and Megan McGuinness serve as co-executive producers.

Did Aaron Spelling die of a broken heart? That’s what his wife Candy said, anyway.

In an interview with a Massachusetts radio station Thursday, Candy Spelling lamented the rift that has formed between her daughter, Tori, and the rest of the Spelling family. According to FoxNews.com, Candy went so far as to say Tori’s abandonment of the Spelling crew was a leading cause of Aaron’s death in June 2006.

“It was sad because that’s what killed my husband actually,” she said. “He just didn’t want to live after that. You know, he had done everything … he could possibly do for his daughter and she wanted no part of him once he couldn’t do anything for her.”

Candy noted that the rift was as sudden as it was unexpected. “I don’t know what the anger is. My daughter one day decided that she wasn’t speaking to my husband, myself and my son and that’s how it’s continued for the last, oh gosh, four or five years,” Candy said.

Throughout those four or five years, however, Candy and Tori have had a start and stop relationship. Following Aaron’s death, Tori was outspoken about her mother’s alleged affair with a family friend, but a year later, Tori and Candy bonded briefly over the birth of Tori’s baby Liam.

Now, however, Candy insists she’s never even met her new grandchild Stella and doesn’t know where Tori’s growing family even lives.

Tori told People magazine that the familial split was natural, not intentional. “I love my mother. I’ve always loved her [and] no doubt she loves me. There’s no feud. We simply never meshed.”
