I am going to miss Imusâ€¦.I watch nearly every morningâ€¦.and every one ought to know that is his actâ€¦..he does say shocking things. He is entertaining and has really good guests and good performers of Country musicâ€¦â€¦.I think what he said about the Rutgers Basket ball team was out of lineâ€¦.but it was also blown out of proportionâ€¦.and made into a crusadeâ€¦â€¦

I think that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are going to have to wear neck collars they must have come close to breaking their necks when they collided; trying to beat each other to the microphone to make Imus race baitâ€¦â€¦

It is undisputed that the demeaning of women in all media needs to be stoppedâ€¦â€¦â€¦Imus has been made a scapegoat and an example in the process of educating the public about the demeaning of women in the mediaâ€¦what a shame. It is a shame that the advertisers jumped on the bandwagon like fleas on a dogâ€¦..what an epidemic of foolishness. Now let us beat the drum slowly and morn the passing of the only non-blah morning TVâ€¦..even if it was irreverent and spiced with sometimes inappropriate comments that woke me up almost better than my cup of coffeeâ€¦..I knew it was tongue in cheek why didn’t others?

I will truly miss Don Imusâ€¦.NBC and sponsors acted precipitously. Keep IMUS. Dump Al and Jesse.

Just another example of the double standard many black “leaders” think they deserve. They can do and say whatever they want but do not feel that others should be have the same standards. In fact they have made themselves judge and jury. I would bet if you checked out the IPODs of the players on the Rutgers basketball team they would all contain rap/hip-hop “music” that contains lyrics far worse than what Imus said. I guess that doesn’t count though.

The people that complain about the so called racial remarks are the real hypocites/racists themselves…like the bible said, “Let those without sin cast the first stone”…Yes, freedom of speech,get a life you twits!!!there are more pressing issues on this earth then these things..

I had the same thought about Chris Rock as posted by Randy Morris. Here’a nother thought, has any one listened to rap music for the past 20 years? Rapping about nappy-headed ho’s is a common theme and the term is nothing new or shocking.

Why doesn’t Sharpton and Jackson pitch a fit when Chris Rock or other black entertainers use racial slurs, or there disregard for racial slurs aimed at the white segment of our country. I don’t understand how the Rev. part comes before their names, they don’t even have Christian convictions.

Whatever happened to freedom of speech? And why is it that whenever anyone does speak their mind they are ridiculed for it and then expected to give a formal apology. Here’s a thought to ponder…….some people just dont like people of other races..is something wrong with that? And perhaps someone can answer this question for me… if a white man kills a black man it is considered a “hate crime” what is it called if a black man kills a white man? Hmmmmmmmmmm?

What kind of religion do Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev.Jesse Jackson preach, that they don’t feel a person deserves another chance? I seem to remember Rev Jackson doing some “lowly” things in his career, and Rev. Sharpton has done his share too. Why do these two
think they are the political police for everyone? Yes Imus is a character, but its just like he said, his show gives everyone a hard time, including himself. Sharpton just wanted some political attention, Jackson too……. Sharpton still trying to run for Pres you know! This gives him plenty of air time!
