Farmers and ranchers flocked to Lubbock, Texas, last weekend for the first of four open casting calls nationwide for a new reality TV show from the producers of “American Idol” and “The Price is Right.” In “The Farmer Wants a Wife,” city girls and others will vie for a chance to become a farmer’s bride. Other casting calls were scheduled for Lincoln, Neb., Des Moines, Iowa, and Springfield, Mo. Producers are accepting applications from across the country.
Incidentally Lubbock, Texas (Post, Texas to be exact) is my home town. You won’t find me rushing back for this one guys!!!
