A funeral service for actress Natasha Richardson was held Sunday afternoon in Millbrook, N.Y., where she wed actor Liam Neeson and raised their two sons.

Neeson was among the pallbearers for his wife’s coffin, made of dark brown wood, as it was taken into St. Peter’s Episcopal Church early Sunday afternoon, according to the Associated Press. He arrived with his sons, Micheal, 13, and Daniel, 12, and mother-in-law, Vanessa Redgrave. Aunt Lynn Redgrave and sister Joely Richardson followed.

Actor Ralph Fiennes was also at the funeral, which was open to family and close friends.

Richardson will be buried at St. Peter’s Cemetery, steps from her beloved grandmother’s plot.

Richardson, 45, died March 18 of internal brain bleeding after suffering a head injury during a skiing accident in Canada.

On Friday, her family and friends — including Diane Sawyer, Matthew Modine and Uma Thurman, among others — paid their respects at a private wake at the American Irish Historical Society in NYC.
