Angelina Jolie is set to honor her late mother’s cancer battle by appearing in a new public service announcement with comedienne Fran Drescher. Drescher, a cancer survivor, has founded the Cancer Schmancer organization, and she has recruited Jolie for an upcoming publicity drive.
The comedienne says, “Angelina is supporting me on the movement. Her mother had women’s cancer that she died from and I’m a gynecologic cancer survivor and our organization is dedicated to ensure that all women’s cancers get diagnosed in stage one, when they’re most curable because early detection equals survival. So we’re gonna figure something out. We’re gonna do a PSA together.”
