Former Saturday Night Live cast member Chris Kattan married model Sunshine Tutt, 31, in Yosemite Valley, California, on Saturday, he confirmed on his official Web site.
Kattan, 37, popped the question at Tutt’s grandmother’s home in Gainesville, Texas on Christmas Eve 2006, according to the Brownsville Herald.
“He gift wrapped the ring in a present. … I was very emotional, and I started crying,” Tutt told her hometown Texas newspaper the Brownsville Herald. “I think I said ‘yes’ immediately, but I was kind of in shock.”
The pair began dating after meeting at a birthday party in Hollywood in 2005.
“She is so kind, sweet and very beautiful. She’s also very funny which always is a great thing. She’s also very much like me,” Kattan blogged on his Web site in August 2005.
“She makes me very happy. It feels real and honest and I have more of a continuous smile than I have ever had before.”
Kattan recently wrapped filming the comedy Hollywood and Wine, costarring David Spade and Pamela Anderson.
