Apparently, George Clooney gets his share of action off-camera as well.

During a recent trip to southern Sudan, he said he was going through checkpoints when muggers attacked him.

“There were all these young kids with AK47s,” Clooney, 46, tells British men’s magazine Zoo Weekly. “They pointed guns at us and stole what they could. It happens all the time.”

His assailants didn’t recognize him, he said, joking, “They don’t have great TV out there!”

The Leatherheads star — who is dating former model Sarah Larson — also opened up about being a sex symbol.

“Well, I do have good hair!” he deadpanned. “To be honest, being the fantasy guy is dangerous. If people saw me up close, they’d soon change their minds!

“Plus people’s fantasy guys change every 15 minutes,” he added, “so you take those compliments knowing that it will change fairly quickly.”

Clooney says he “has many failings.” Among them: “I’m a terrible dancer.”
